@@cinder8926 And some fools say they would love to fight all these bosses at their full strength. No you wouldn't. You wouldn't step one foot forward before dying every time.
It’s actually pretty sad tbh. The horse is scrawny and is described as such even before the sorry state it’s in during the fight. Radahn could have done what any normal person would have done and just picked a better horse. But nobody seems to care how the horse feels about being rid into battle despite being a weak horse to begin with.

Horah Loux took the beast regent, Serosh, on his back when he became Elden Lord to suppress the ceaseless bloodlust that flowed in his veins. If you noticed, Serosh is actually digging his claws into Godfrey's back and shoulders. By killing him, it symbolizes that he is renouncing his lordly ways and returning to his bloodthirsty roots

lmao I gotta be honest your reaction to Malenia with the "And I have never known defeat" had me dying, when I fought her I sat straight and was mentally preparing myself cause that fucking line is so cold.
Fun Fact: Rahdan is not crushing his horse, actually he learned gravity magic in order to stay with his companion, Leonard, and yes thats the horse's name
Radahn is someone who wields gravity magic. But he learned it for one purpose: so that he may continue to ride is greatest friend, Leonard, his horse into battle. His love for his horse was so vast, he learned how to control gravity, just to keep riding his most faithful companion into battle. Despite having lost his mind, body and soul to the rot, Radahn still protects his horse from himself. He even buries his horse when he does his meteor attack, just so his best friend remains safe. General Radahn, even without his mind present, puts Leonard, his trusty steed, above all else. One of the kindest and most endearing things in Elden Ring. EDIT: almost forgot (cutscene reminded me honestly) General Radahn was also keeping the stars from falling upon the Lands Between with his gravity magic. Radahn was keeping that meteor from impacting throughout the fight with you. He can literally keep the stars at bay while fighting an entire group of enemies.
"I am Malenia, blade of Miquella, and I've never known defeat." This sentence will send every Elden Ring player down the deep end. When later she says "I will show you true horror" it is LITERAL. My God... Nightmare fuel

As far as Godfrey and his stand come, his stand doesn't actually help him like a stand does, but it actually holds him back from being the bloodthirsty warrior he is. He was given Serosh by Queen Marika when he became her first consort and Elden Lord

Soulsbourne games are hard in the beginning, but with planned out builds, you can beat the games and maybe even have an easy time. Experience helps as well. I'm about to be on my 10th run (I'm referring to playing since the beginning, although I do play new game+ as well), and the bosses are pretty easy now. I struggled on my first run, and struggled a bit on my second run. On my third run, that's when I started killing bosses on the first try (except Malenia and Radagon). Anyways, glad you enjoyed the game. It's okay to be afraid in the beginning. But hey, the point of the game is to struggle, learn from it, keep trying, and finally overcome the obstacles. It feels extremely satisfying when you do XD Also, glad to hear you enjoyed Elden Ring. Hope you enjoy future fromsoftware games and or try the others. My personal favorite is Dark Souls, but the others are amazing and equally deserve love ❤️ Bloodbourne is probably most soulsbourne players favorite, but we all have the right to our Opinion. PS. My younger sister's favorite is Elden Ring too ❤️
And it is also the EASIEST of the lineup of Souls games. Which doesn't mean that it's not hard, it's a game made by From Software after all. But it is, from the perspective of someone who has played the entire Dark Souls Trilogy, Bloodborne, and Demons' Souls (Sekiro really didn't grab my attention, though I will get to it eventually), it is the easiest of them.
@@jgkitarel i’ve recently played a lot of the dark souls games, but i somewhat disagree. i feel like if you use and abuse the open world aspect, spells, and summons then it’ll be the easiest. if you rush the main story bosses and go minimalistic i think you can certainly make it one of the harder games in the series
General Radhan the Star Scourge was such a master of Gravity magic. That even when his mind was gone from the Scarlet Rot he was using everything he had holding back all those Stars ✨ protecting us from the outer Gods that lurked above. I believe if he didn't hold those stars back he would have defeated Melania.
You should definitely try the game out bro, its hard forsure and its not a stroll in the park but there is a lot of things that can help you with the difficulty aside from the very powerful weapons you receive you can summon AI to help you in a fight which is extremely helpful there is even a couple legendary AI partners that can solo some bosses, give it a try bro its been a lot of peoples introduction to the series mine included.
Hope you play it my dude. It's not about fear. It's about overcoming the challenges this game will throw at you. Those bosses are just a few of the litteral hundreds you will face that don't have cut scenes.
Tarnished is what they are call. You are a Tarnished, missing your guidance of gold. I managed to beat all the optional bosses except that two-headed dragon so far XD VaatiVidya covers the lore, if you want it, it's out there.
Me too, lol. I just finished my 6th play through because I kept trying different builds, weapons, and spells. This last one though was the first one that I made a point to REALLY learn all of Malenia’s moves so I could beat her solo. 😎😂👍🏽
That twin headed dragon….once had FIVE heads and extra wings….was also the first Elden Lord before being Elden lord was cool ;) Also, Godfrey calls you Tarnished out of respect since he was the first Tarished
Man i wish i could experience this again for the first time, such a beautiful yet terrifying game, radahn vanishing into the stars to melania's transformation, brilliant.
Radahn is my favorite. His entire story begins because he realized he was growing too big for his horse, and decided to learn gravity magic so they could stay as partners, or brothers, in battle.
when he saw maliketh say "death become my blade" I laughed, knowing I've punked this guys ass like 10 times by now. (ignore the part where I die 500 times to him every playthrough unless I'm using a bullshit build)
The hardest game I've played. I never thought I could do it. But I've got it to 100% now and it will forever remain the best game for me. There is so much lore and depth in this game that you can't find in almost any other game.
As someone who still plays this game more than a year after release (playing new game + 2 now) your reactions are so on point and hilarious! The "ohhhh I can't play this game" is too real haha. Maliketh (the wolf/lion dude) was definitely one of the hardest (and scariest boss fights!). Malenia was incredibly challening but that feeling of finally defeating is so good. Rennala's fight I found pretty easy, but visually stunning. Elden beast (final boss) and Malenia were the ones i found hardest. Giant snake dude? (is a bit of a gimmick fight but just aweosme).
Malenia is an optional boss, and she's the hardest fight in the game. Her first phase is hard enough, but her second phase is just insane. A small fact that people miss when it comes to Godfrey; all through the game, there's a golden thread hanging in the air that leads you towards the next boss you have to overcome to become the Elden Lord. By the time you fight Godfrey, you and he are the last contenders left, and you can (very briefly) see that HIS thread is hanging in the air, pointing him towards you. You've become so strong that YOU'RE the boss that HE has to overcome at that point. Although he's still not as strong as Malenia. She's built different.
I had to rewatch, because I'd never noticed that myself... but I wouldn't really consider 13 seconds "very briefly" lol. Thanks for pointing that out to us! That is a SUPER interesting tidbit of lore!
@@mortezamohammadi505 No you don't need to beat everyone to become elden lord lol, he just never fought Malenia because there wasn't a reason for him to. Elden Lord's main job is to be a servant to the golden order anyway and when you're deem not worthy anymore you're tossed in the bin.
I didn't notice that before, but even though that might be right, I think that was possibly your character absorbing morgott's grace, since he fades away and that "mist" seems to float to our character afterwards
Ngl, you should definitely try it out. Sure it's difficult but this is my first game like this too and I think it's one of my personal all time favorites. If you find yourself stuck on something, then go somewhere else for a bit and come back. There's plenty of options for different builds or play styles. Even with this being my first game like this, I'm on the last boss at the moment. Anyways, if you decide to play it, I hope you enjoy it.
Ive played through this game multiple times so ive seen all the cutscenes, but nothing could have prepared me for how funny it would be to see radagons epic ass intro pose only for it to instantly cut to his dead body lying on the ground
i'm working on my 3rd playthrough of this. and yes some of the bosses you've seen are difficult as hell. the scarlot rot boss with the two stages? she is by far the hardest fight in the entire game.
I've been casually playing this game since its came out and now I'm finally on the last boss, best game I've ever played, also the first souls born game I've played
The game intimidates you with cutscenes. You have to know that fear is what feeds them. They should be the ones afraid. Not the other way around. This comes from someone who beat all rememberance bosses.
Dude, I love your reaction to all the boss cut scenes. Imma be real with you, the cut scenes do not give the game justice; the game is so much better when playing in person. I wish I can get the same experience that I first did when playing on my first run through on the game. I'm on my third play through, and I still love fighting every boss. They're super difficult to fight, but you do find them easy after the first play through. Stay safe
Malenia the chick that hasn’t know defeat is an option boss hidden behind two massive secret areas, she’s considered the toughest boss because of two broken attack that are god damn near undodgeable, not to mention she has life steal so summons are useless forcing you into a head on one on one.
I find waterfowl to be far easier to dodge now that I’ve learned it. I usually would dodge the 10 ghost attack without even know how. I just jump and run willy nilly and somehow dodge most of them
The game is so good! Looks and sounds amazing and the story/lore is SO GOOOD! It's hard but it's own world so you can just leave a boss you can't bet and level up and continue the story haha (only a few are actually required from all of those bosses haha)
U know, the best piece in this is the introduction of Malenia: "Head my words, i am Malenia, Blade of Miquella. And i never known defeat." When the combat starts she isntant charges into you and almost everyone died in an eyeblink. Best was a girl who said "We will see" in the cutscene, she was quite silence as she was pierced to death by Malenia huehue. Malenia is one of the greatest bossfights ever created from From Software and is the most challenging of all their games started by Demon Souls, Dark Souls 1 - 3, Bloodbourne and Sekiro.
I loved this game so much, I beat it 3 times. Back to back. For different endings, with differently built characters. I have a 100% Achievements on Steam, so yeah, I beat all them cold bosses multiple times lol.
Watching the stars move again after Radahn’s death because his mastery of gravity magic being able to keep them back really shows you the scope of some of the bosses true power - like it’s wild
I bought Elden Ring as my first souls game few weeks after it came out. I decided to buy it after seeing a lot of vids on yt. And i have to say this game is awesome. My first playthrough was 110 hours because of exploring everything and fighting all bosses. And its the best game i've played in last 10 years
Radahn is the definition of a chad Mastered gravity magic not to hold stars back but to keep riding his horse as he grew. Dude was brain dead and still protected his horse. Hell he was so respected his army wanted to give him a proper and respectful death by making a fight festival just for him. Radahn was and is by far the best character in the game.
I really got into the lore when I played the game and I'll try and explain what the game's about. It's pretty elaborate though lol. The first thing is that there's an "outer god" known as "the Greater Will" (there are actually many outer gods, but this is the main one that you are dealing with). The god that is in control enforces what is essentially the source code of the world. This code is made up of greater runes and is called the Elden Ring. The Greater Will took the rune of death out of the Elden Ring so that people would never die of natural causes, and if murdered they would be reborn through a powerful central system called the Erdtree. This would only happen if you were a follower of the Greater Will though, essentially enforcing a dictatorship over the world. The Greater Will laid claim to the world and this was enforced by "the Golden Order" which included many Demi-gods, some of whom could ascend and become actual gods if they met the criteria. One of these Demi-gods would always be required to ascend and rule over the planet as a living god, the current one being Queen Marika. Ranni the witch was one of these Demi-gods but she was unable to accept the Greater Will so she made a plan and stole a shard of the rune of death. She used this shard to craft weapons that could be used to kill demi-gods and gave them to the "black knife assassins" who entered the capital, murdered Godwyn the Golden (Queen Marika's son) and attempted to claim the Elden Ring. Before their plan could succeed though Queen Marika smashed the Elden Ring. This was known as "the shattering". The natural laws of the world began to crack and Marika's other half, Radagon, tried unsuccessfully to repair it. Many of the bosses you face are the Demi-gods that followed the Golden Order but there are also many other factions in the world such as the Fire Giants and the Dragons that previously fought for control of the world. There are also many other Outer Gods that try to use the shattering as an opportunity to claim the world for themselves, all with their own different ideals and principals that they would enforce if they succeed.
Hell yeah with the natsu intro also i did beat it but maliketh (the weird ass dog thing with the bigass blavk sword that looks like a stalactite) killed me about 9 times before i got an item specifically to counter him i didnt have to do that with any other boss but one

It may sound really crazy, but the Giant riding a horse (9:30) has mastered gravity spells just to make himself lighter in order to still be able to ride on his best friend's back and not hurt him\
which I think is pretty sweet
Also his beloved pet horse is apparently named Leonard.
Dude mastered gravity magic to keep riding his horse and while permanently using that on himself is also holding back apart of space itself and whooping your ass all while completely mad and slowly dying due to malenias bio nuke. Biggest Chad out of all bosses in the game
@@wowitsfrostygames155 I mean if Radahn wasn't using the horse, it would be put to work somewhere else, or probably just killed for being a weak/sickly horse that brings no value.

I beat it. One of my favorites of all time. Lore and playthrough were amazing

There’s something so funny to me seeing the intro cutscene hyping the bosses up and building up their theme music and then it just immediately cuts to them dead on the ground next scene lmao.
Radagon’s the funniest example of that lol. Feels like something I’d see in an Elden Ring joke edit if he were actually an easy boss
Real talk Maliketh, the ‘O Death’ boss, is one of my favorite bosses in the game hands down, right after Placidusax, the two headed dragon.
Two headed because he get decapitated from one head lmao hé so a loser
Maliketh gave my ass ptsd, first boss in elden ring to actually make me break a controller, I haven’t fought malenia though😭

Other people have said it, but Godfrey ripping apart his pet lion Serosh like that is basically like Goku taking off his training weights, he's giving up the grace of God to throw hands for real. Dude straight up starts pulling super-wrestling moves on you too, like a powerbomb from 30ft in the air, and a chokeslam that would turn a normal person into a red paste. He's not fucking around in that second stage, and you definitely find out.

This was my first souls game, I went in not knowing it was a souls game and I wouldn’t trade my first play through for anything in the world. I can’t recommend it enough that you play it. There are things in there to make it easier too, such as spirits you can summon in fights or even your own friends (magic does make the game easier too)
lmao I gotta be honest your reaction to Malenia with the "And I have never known defeat" had me dying, when I fought her I sat straight and was mentally preparing myself cause that fucking line is so cold.
If there's one name you won't forget after finishing Elden Ring. It's that her name is Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
#facts 😂😂😂
There is a reason why that fight is my favorite so far, and there are plenty of amazing battles.
"I am Malenia, blade of Miquella, and I've never known defeat."
This sentence will send every Elden Ring player down the deep end. When later she says "I will show you true horror" it is LITERAL.
My God... Nightmare fuel
Elden ring is such an eye opening experience. A year after owning it and just got Platinum for it🤘🏻
Beat the game at least twice. All Optional bosses too. It wasn't easy but it's definitely doable if you keep practicing. Working on the DLC now
Bro the part where you talked about the shadow on the Renalla cutscene and the way you side-eyed the camera made me spill my milk from laughing! Just like that, you've gotten a new sub! Good video man!
As far as Godfrey and his stand come, his stand doesn't actually help him like a stand does, but it actually holds him back from being the bloodthirsty warrior he is. He was given Serosh by Queen Marika when he became her first consort and Elden Lord

ngl i was scared to get elden ring too because i never played a souls game before. my brother ended up gifting it to me on my birthday and it’s easily one of the most amazing games i’ve ever played
PS. My younger sister's favorite is Elden Ring too ❤️
If you think ER is an amazing game, then you haven't played actual amazing games...
@@maxdrags3115 like what
And it is also the EASIEST of the lineup of Souls games.
The reaction to “i have never known defeat” is on point. Buy the game and you gonna find out lol.
Hope you play it my dude. It's not about fear. It's about overcoming the challenges this game will throw at you. Those bosses are just a few of the litteral hundreds you will face that don't have cut scenes.
I beat the game playing as a spartan from 300. Sword, spear, and shield!
Tarnished is what they are call. You are a Tarnished, missing your guidance of gold.
I managed to beat all the optional bosses except that two-headed dragon so far XD
VaatiVidya covers the lore, if you want it, it's out there.
Souls games along with Final Fantasy games (14 specifically) and Nier are some of the best games I have played. They are all soo good.
Love this game bro, if you did a play through of it I’d definitely watch
I've beat this game so many times now. It never gets old. I love it. Malenia is my favorite boss to fight.
Me too, lol. I just finished my 6th play through because I kept trying different builds, weapons, and spells. This last one though was the first one that I made a point to REALLY learn all of Malenia’s moves so I could beat her solo. 😎😂👍🏽
Watching these cut scenes blind is intimidating but learning what they are makes them both epic and cool
Godfrey will always be my favorite
Never known defeat is the truest statement. Every cocky player is like, "You will know defeat now" Then proceeds to gets two tapped instantly
That twin headed dragon….once had FIVE heads and extra wings….was also the first Elden Lord before being Elden lord was cool ;)
Also, Godfrey calls you Tarnished out of respect since he was the first Tarished
We didn't beat Maliketh, we SURVIVED Maliketh
The hardest game I've played. I never thought I could do it. But I've got it to 100% now and it will forever remain the best game for me. There is so much lore and depth in this game that you can't find in almost any other game.
I beat it a few times now and I highly suggest looking up the lore, there's a lot to explore.
I think if Godfrey was to become elden lord
Nothing even melania could beat him
@@mortezamohammadi505 No you don't need to beat everyone to become elden lord lol, he just never fought Malenia because there wasn't a reason for him to.
Just got the platinum trophy and it’s STILL things I overlooked. Currently in my 4th playthrough
Dearest Miquela - "oh, that's his girl or something. I'm picking up the lore"

So, you’re gonna play the game right?
It’s seriously an incredible work of art.
Stay safe
Malenia the chick that hasn’t know defeat is an option boss hidden behind two massive secret areas, she’s considered the toughest boss because of two broken attack that are god damn near undodgeable, not to mention she has life steal so summons are useless forcing you into a head on one on one.
besides the waterfowl what's the other undodgeable attack?
@@tanthokg the one that shoots like 10 of her at you from all different angles in her second form
@@joelbarnes6632 oh yeah that one, to me it's easier to dodge than the waterfowl somehow
@@tanthokg yeah I think water flow is harder to avoid aswell the attacks are just too frequent.
I find waterfowl to be far easier to dodge now that I’ve learned it. I usually would dodge the 10 ghost attack without even know how. I just jump and run willy nilly and somehow dodge most of them
Miquella, the hand that bled a puddly from which Mohg appears, is actually the twin brother of Melania.

I love watching streamers first encounters for this very reason. Even better if they don't know about the second phase
Malenia is easy as crap except her Waterfowl Dance.
She is nowhere near the greatest boss they have made, crazy that you think that...
Then what do you think is the best boss?

Watching the stars move again after Radahn’s death because his mastery of gravity magic being able to keep them back really shows you the scope of some of the bosses true power - like it’s wild
I bought Elden Ring as my first souls game few weeks after it came out. I decided to buy it after seeing a lot of vids on yt. And i have to say this game is awesome. My first playthrough was 110 hours because of exploring everything and fighting all bosses. And its the best game i've played in last 10 years

Radahn is the definition of a chad
Mastered gravity magic not to hold stars back but to keep riding his horse as he grew.
Elden Ring definitely fires up the rage. I shouted so much playing my first character that I gave myself a sore throat. 10/10 would lose voice again.
Throwing packs of throat lozenges at you friend
Love this game bro, and almost everyboss has second stage, some in half way to the end, some restore life bar.
“Dearest Miquella”

Keep in mind only the main story bosses had cut scenes. This accounts for about 10% of all boss fights throughout the game
Radagon's cutscene is cool because it calls back all the way to the trailer for the game
