We are at an inflexion point for supercars. Manual gearboxes, naturally aspirated engines, the new Bugatti being slower than the previous one... EVs have made performance numbers irrelevant, so the arms race seems to finally be coming to an end, and the manufacturers can go back to making actually interesting stuff. Even some of the EVs are interesting in their own right. In a way it's like mechanical watches, rendered obsolete by quartz watches that do the job cheaper and better, so now they've become an ode to engineering and craftsmanship for enthusiasts. I won't ever own a supercar, but I'm excited to drive this current batch in the next Forza video game!

Thank you Sniff for avoiding Americanisms and saying titanium properly. It takes courage these days, even Harry M and Jay have fallen victim to tie-tanium! 😁
I've just looked at some videos of Americans and English people pronouncing titanium and they're all pronouncing it tie-tay-nium. What other way is there?

Great cars, but things have changed so much(old fogey alert).. when I was 30 I owned a 911 Carrera 4, which was easily affordable for an IT professional. 25 years later I certainly can't afford one. My earnings have gone up but nowhere near fast enough to keep pace with fast car prices. Back then, a Lamborghini or Ferrari was in touching distance, now they are lottery dreams. Even more so the Bugattis, Paganis, Koenigseggs, McLarens etc. Ah well.
I loved this video, and I love Smith and Sniff but the discussion really showed why i have no interest in supercars now. "They are only making 20". "It's 3.3million". Obscene and unnecessary, you also know every single one will be in a massive collection wherre it will get driven once at Monterey Car Week when it is new, and never again.
The Chinese never build a proper quality combustion engine , but with EV crap they know it because of the cheap RC toys they make I’ll quess .. a EV is just a big RC car offcourse
Living in a part of the world where there are plenty of Chinese cars on the road, they are generally very well made vehicles (EVs and ICU cars). China's BYD EVs now out sell Tesla worldwide and (for sure) they're better made than a Tesla. People said similar things when Japanese cars appeared in Europe in the 60s and 70s (and the Japanese haven't done too badly since). The fact is that in that in Asia/the Far East (Japan, Korea, and China) they make better cars than the Europeans and Americans do.
Johnny whats spoils this and the previous video is your co-presenter, he is obnoxious, insubordinate, belittling, and has a revolting humour. He is simply not a nice person.
Clearly don't understand Mr Porters humour. He's a very funny and interesting man. If you're a van of the majority of car media in the last 20 years he is one of the main men at the root of it

The 'Peter Kay' gearbox was my favorite line when talking about the Porsche. 😂
Sweet sweet guys. Really neat bumper videos between cars.
Great video, only complaint is that it wasn't long enough!
At 10.23, it's fascinating to learn that the hybrid system is integrated into the "Peter Kay" gearbox. Every day is a school day!😂
Yes, Peter is exceptional at fast shift twin clutch boxes. The Germans rate him.
well done!...ty to Smith, Sniff and Goodwood!
A right pair of SSGs
Pair of flutes
Goodwood in the suxties....it was dufferent time....
Alonso probably doesn't want to put too many miles on the Megane so he ordered a daily driver?
This is why Porsche cars are so popular. A beautifully made sports car with ample power but without a million pound price tag.
