Richard and Jonny are masters at this! They're so funny because they know what they're mocking when they do comedy, but that same knowledge makes them great presenters when they dial it back a couple notches. Still funny, light-hearted engaging, but knowledgeable; not just on the cars as material objects, but on the love, humor, gravitas, and heritage that went into their appeal.
Jonny has a solo UA-cam channel: In which he talks highly of the former Miss Middleton while putting fancy icing on inedible baked goods in the middle of a roller derby. That’s right. It’s the Celebrate Kate while Decorating Fake Cakes surrounded by Skates show. If you’re not a fan of that…
Richard's presentation skills are like a fine wine... well done to all at Goodwood for curating such a fine selection of cars and this was a very slick video guy's... P.s. That Aston Martin Lagonda is an absolute bargain.
Once I got a free ticket for the Festival of Speed by getting an invite to the Bonhams auction. Ended up buying a Maserati. Most expensive free ticket I ever had !
I really really wish they would get a nice tasty sponsorship deal and could do some more content together in front of the camera. Massive fan of the podcast!
Fascinating programme thanks for sharing💜✌️😊 That AC prototype is amazing, would one want to use it/drive it though🤔 And you reminded me of the 428 as well, awesome heritage, awesome classics too✌️👍😊🇬🇧 I was near Hereford in the early 1990s, a few army trucks (Bedford MK's) in front of me, they were pulling trailers too. Four of those buggies - looking like something from Tamiya - under loose fitting tarps which were flapping about and revealing parts of the vehicles. I thought at the time "surely they're not SAS and VW beetle based?!!" Now you've solved the mystery for me!
Imagine being the owner of thoses Astons, spending all that cash to park them up, never drive them and yet still loose an utter shed load of money, what a stroker
That Trident Ventura was on sale for a long time in my local classic car dealership. Wonderful little thing, but no one knows what it is so no one wants to buy it.
Louis is in serious need of a foot wear - trousers advisor.....apart from that no yellow lights flashing. Only wholesome car guy neerdiness....love it❤
Always love Smith & Sniff’s coverage of Goodwood! I think the problem with that Lagonda Taraf is the front looks less like an Aston Martin and more like a Ford Fusion, or the last of the Australian Falcons. Not ugly, but not worth paying millions for 🤷♂️
I read a spy novel once which featured a AC 428... cant remember the author or the title but the car was described thoroughly as if the author wanted to sell enough books to buy one...
Very interesting and entertaining video. Lovely cars. And very amusing to see how many people can't realise there are two cameras filming two men and just wander around regardless...
For a minute there i thought you said that old 911 was a 9 million quid car..... ;-) you'd have three times more fun in the £40k mini's and at least with two of them, one might actually be working at any given moment lol!
Don't like the guide? Find another!
😂
YOU WON'T EVER FIND ONE LIKE IT AGAIN.
Well played, Goodwood. Well played.
Not at this ockshun you won't!
LoL🤣🤣 yes i hate it

This week they're heavily into second hand cars, basically in Goodwood.
Love it!!
Plenty of advice to, er, pick up, if you want to.
Until then, see you then.

For 99p, that's got to be a bargain

Love seeing S&S in a more buttoned down setting. Lovely (and leafy) to see them on that side of things. 😂
So F**gging leafy
“Very easy to find - unlike VJ Mallaya” I literally spat my tea out. My wife thought I was having a stroke. Hilarious !
Smith and sniff definitely need to find a TV outlet.... Or at least a joint UA-cam video project..
Chode hunting around Bristol, just like they used to do I leafy leafy London
They do/did on YT. They used to do video car reviews and chat, mainly sitting / driving the cars. Now however it's mostly podcasts.
The Late Brake Show
Richard's presentation skills are like a fine wine... well done to all at Goodwood for curating such a fine selection of cars and this was a very slick video guy's... P.s. That Aston Martin Lagonda is an absolute bargain.
yep I would have bought that
20:08 The lady looking Richard up and down 🤣🤣
Once I got a free ticket for the Festival of Speed by getting an invite to the Bonhams auction. Ended up buying a Maserati. Most expensive free ticket I ever had !
Absolutely brilliant. Great pairing, entertaining and incredibly information. Very much more of these two please guys 🙏🙏
I would watch these in a rainy field talking about cars that are falling apart.
Oh hang on
What a treat to have you back together. ❤
Dude, they're together every week on the podcast :)
@@sq1rlsqu4d I meant on this channel !
MM … “the thinking person’s Revival” 😂
I really really wish they would get a nice tasty sponsorship deal and could do some more content together in front of the camera. Massive fan of the podcast!
Nailed it with the usual presentation style, just dialled down a couple of notches for the mainstream viewer. Perfect.👌
I wish there was a Shaun of the Dead style meeting with Harry Metcalfe making the same video.
Hannu's Audi!!!, Staggering car saw it compete at Clumber Park in the early eighties and my goodness what a beast😮😮
The pair of you are such a great combo, amazing knowledge coupled with dry humour, love it!
Richard looking at the wrong camera every time is sooooo funny
Louis, the slick car salesman, with the tan pointed shoes, looked even slicker beside Johnny's mild mannered and humble demeanour.
I assume he might be Andrew Frankel’s son?
Why can't he keep still? What was in his tea?...
Just lovely. Some sweet, sweet cars on offer here.
Sweet sweet Guide to the bonhams ocshon
8:47 that lady is too self aware lol
Please keep making these! Look forward to these every year. Thank you
Brilliant. Just brilliant could easily watch an hour long episode of these two.
The content we have allbeen waiting for
Great pairing these two - can you get them with Harris on Top Gear and lose those other two goons 😂
That would be the ultimate TV show of all time
OTSOTG
17:36 savage 😂😂😂😂
Every video lately is absolute car pervert gold. Love it
I let out an audible 'oof' when i saw the 190 Evo. Love how it sits with the arches and wheels.
Love that😄👍
😂😂 I did the same! 👏
Loved this. All that was missing was a bit of Woollarding.
Love Sniff's dry humour! Nice double act both of you.
There are some absolute bargains at this event, the astons to be highlighted in particular
The depreciation of the Aston Martins are absolutely ridiculous!
120km on the Taraf, and yet it’s lost at least 75% of its value in 7 years! So much for investment cars.
@@John_O_Maoilearcano different to a Maybach lol
50-80k for the #1 Vanquish seems low!! I bet it'd get $120k on BaT right now
Still have to pinch myself you two are asked by Goodwood to make the video, that I would want you to make, officially on that side of things
Look at you two being serious because Goodwood, but still cocking about a bit😂
Not only the funniest car podcasters out there but two of the funniest men in the UK, full stop. FIND ANOTHER

A very finely curated commentary from Mr Smith & Mr Sniff!
Jonny has a solo UA-cam channel
It’s called the “late Kate show”, a show where Johnny tracks the menstrual cycle of the royal family.
Mint guide-well done guys
so nice to see Johnny wearing regular but smart shoes and a bit more regular trousers
The depreciation on the lagonda is wild

That AC at the beginning. One of one, find another!
3:06 Yours for £28-30K but cost the Army £3M a piece! 😂
Imagine being the owner of thoses Astons, spending all that cash to park them up, never drive them and yet still loose an utter shed load of money, what a stroker
You two great together fantastic videos
Oh man I can't believe you guys are there today would've loved to come today. Yesterday was brilliant though.
Love these videos every year.
That Trident Ventura was on sale for a long time in my local classic car dealership. Wonderful little thing, but no one knows what it is so no one wants to buy it.
This Smith and Smith is a lot more wholesome than the American Smith and Sniff from the 80s
I thought "television's Quentin Wilson's" favourite car was the Daimler Dart?
Louis is in serious need of a foot wear - trousers advisor.....apart from that no yellow lights flashing. Only wholesome car guy neerdiness....love it❤
0:43: Find another!!!
18:30 made me LOL 😂😂😂
Always love Smith & Sniff’s coverage of Goodwood!

So all that chat about the dbs wheels and we get a little glimpse.
Find another !!!
Informative and amusing, what a pair of cards they are.
Surely the Title should have been 'Smith Sniff's out Bonhams Bargains!'?
Great video 👍 jaw dropped throughout
I read a spy novel once which featured a AC 428... cant remember the author or the title but the car was described thoroughly as if the author wanted to sell enough books to buy one...
Enjoyed that thanks lads 👌
Wow, more of this!
Great content, but I wish the separate camera settings were in synch!
I bloody love these 2 😂
I need 1.4m and 60k extra for the vanquish. Damn it, this was soooo frustrating to watch. Love the sniff smith combo
Does that guy in the dark suit and bright shoes need the toilet? He never stops moving around or squirming around haha
The woman in the high viz waistcoat trying keep the background clear of people behind Sniff was very obvious. Promotion!
Needed a bit of foot-on-wheel at 8:20
Those eBay Jeep headlights fit that fake Ruf surprisingly well.
Sweet , sweet guys, lovely
Sweet sweet guys. Really lovely.
Love these videos
Very interesting and entertaining video. Lovely cars. And very amusing to see how many people can't realise there are two cameras filming two men and just wander around regardless...
Interesting to see the Sport Quattro wearing Manx plates!
The yellow ventura front kinda looks like the 70s vw Brazilia made in here . or the 70s vw Variant .
heart skipped some beats with the last porsche
Sweet Sweet Lovely Car!
the only "RUF" with rain gutters
Geez those Terraf are Terrif. We should get Tiff in one.
What a great video 👍👍
Any Daihatsu Cheedle's?
Love these two!
Can we just get top gear with these two?
That Lagonda Taraf probably depreciated so much because it looks like the 2023 Honda Accord in the US from the front.
I appreciate that you are in an open setting, but people...when someones filming...stay away for a minute or so
The front of Alfa Romeo Julia looks like our 1980 Fiat 147 GLS apart from the readlights
That Lagonda looks like a Mondeo…just saying
Nice to hear someone (Jonny) pronounce VW correctly.
15:30 RUF is pronounced as 'roof' 😎
Nobody with a life cares.
EXCELLENT WATCHING - PITY THEY WERENT WATCHING WHICH CAMERA WAS ACTUALLY FILMING THEM AT ONE TIME.......
So anoying hearing them talk about the wheels and not seeing them ...
So many beautiful cars. But it's sad so many haven't been driven.
Give these two their own car show.Very entertaining to watch and apart from classics would be nice to see them do more affordable ones.Great post.
For a minute there i thought you said that old 911 was a 9 million quid car..... ;-)
you'd have three times more fun in the £40k mini's and at least with two of them, one might actually be working at any given moment lol!
Richard is brilliant.
That Taraf is crazy
On the auction side of things 😊
