Ok, lets do some bands that wont get you blocked. All from Canada.🇨🇦. Trooper, Prizm, Lover Boy, Street Heart. Big Sugar, April Wine.BTO. Honeymoon Swet.
Title: zsuh swee muhlahduh To me Lara is the second best female singer in the world, surpassed only by Sohyang. Lots of days I would reverse that. This is the best vocal performance by a woman ever. By a country mile. This is an old Serge Lama song. But it was absolutely true for Lara at that time. You saw how long it took her to come out of it when she was finished. I love that you said she couldn't see anybody. I've always wondered if she knew she was getting a standing ovation--not only from the audience, but from you as well. For those of us who love her, it was an honor to see that. As always, a great and thought-filled reaction.,
Maria Callas (1) Barbara Streisand (2) Lara Fabian (3) Whitney Houston (4) Céline Dion (5) and then it's up to you. Note: tastes are to be cultivated not debated.
This song was written by Serge Lamas in 1973 and later popularized by Dalida but Lara made it her own with this performance as she goes so deep into her emotions that it took her a minute to recover after singing it. Actually, this whole concert “From Lara with Love” is sheer perfection and so emotional, and i do recommend you react to other performances from that concert with songs like Adagio, Caruso, Broken vow, Perdere l’amore, and You’re not from here.

Je = juh Suis = swee Malade = -mah-lad Lara = Lahr-ah Fabian = FEY-bee-in It means "I am sick" - this is one stunning performance 🤯🙌🏼❤️🇨🇦 She is one of the singers who Dimash thinks VERY highly of. He looked up to her for his whole life for how well she inhabits her art. She wrote the lyrics to KNOW (composed by Krutoy, sung by Dimash in his flashy red suit). And she originally sang MR HYDE/MADEMOISELLE HYDE.
I rather like the idea more of I have a malady. ( being a perhaps better translation - while french could use the possesive I suppose I dont know if it would scan so well or put over the stress , but I am Sick sounds wrong in english, the other way is more shakespearian)

This song was written by Serge Lama (lyrics) and Alice Dona (melody) about 1971/1972. Serge Lama was married at this time to Daisy Brun, his press secretary. He met his second wife Michèle Annie Potier who also was married at this time, and they fell in love. As Michèle Annie Potier was building up her musical career in Northern Africa at this time, they could not meet often. So, he told his friend, Alice Dona, that this situation makes him sick. Alice Dona wrote the tune in about 15 minutes (she was ashamed of this being so quickly and said it had to be whispered to her by angels) and gave it to Serge. He wrote the lyrics in about 2 hours. His disc company (Phillips) was hesitating to publish a title with "sickness", but it appeared on his next album. The song grew popular by the cover of the Egyptian-Italian singer Dalida. Since then, it is considered as a classic of the French chanson. Lara Fabian's version of it was chosen as his favourite by Serge Lama. Lara's interpretation of the song was always changing. You will find several versions by her on the internet. If this ua-cam.com/video/q_bq5mStroM/v-deo.html not existed, "Je suis malade" would be the saddest love song in French chanson history.
No comparaison with Lara, she is UNIQUE. Nobody goes close to her level of intimacy. We live thé story sung by a real artist. No singer, but ARTIST WITH A BIG A. She is thé Michel-Ángel of thé singing.
This is "the" greatest live performance I have ever seen, equalled only by Je t'aime, another epic performance from her, I have listened to this performance over one thousand times now & it makes my eye's well up & leak water every time, "Angelina Jordan" is the only other performer that comes close to Lara's level of ability, control, emotion & amazing voice, oh & that breath control & the subtleties Lara put in there are mind-blowing.
This song, and Lara's delivery is absolutely devastating. She is so immersed in the lyrics ... it is stunning. Her voice is beautiful. This is a masterclass. Thank you
She is one of the greats, very glad you got to hear her and "Je suis malade" is one of her best pieces. Not her original song but I think she has made it hers. Try others she has done: Adagio, Je t'aime, Caruso. They will all probably make you weep, I certainly have. Stay safe.
Lara vous a transmis tellement ses émotions à travers sa voix sensible pleine de nuance 😊 je vous ai senti vraiment touché pendant toute la chanson merci pour ça 🙏❤
For curious Americans who know where Europe is, Lara Fabian was born in Belgium (Wallonia region). Belgium has 3 official languages. 58% are Flemish (speak Dutch) 32% are Walloons (speak French) 10% are German speakers (speak German) So she speaks French, but she is Belgian. Just like Celine Dion or Mylène Farmer who were born in Quebec and sing in French, they are successful but are not French.
This performance is the proof that emotion has no language barrier, great reactions. No matter if you do not understand french or you did not have the English subtitles! You can feel the emotions from her performance
Lara Fabian I love her eyes when she pushes the note 🎶She's amazing ❤️🙌🙌 other song by her "I will love again" lyrics in english 👌 on this one she pushes the note 🎶, so great 🙌🙌, beautiful woman, EVEN NOW 🔥🔥🔥👌

Thanks for your genuine reaction to the amazing Lara Fabian! Lara is a phenomenal singer and Artist and she is absolutely unmatched as a live performer, and not only is she vocally perfect, but she also is a true Queen of Emotions and no one can compare to her. This performance of «Je suis Malade» is an absolutely brilliant timeless Masterpiece of the Highest Class! In my opinion this incredible Lara’s performance is one of the very best live performances ever in the whole history of music. I have seen this performance countless times and every time Lara's voice pierces me to the very depths of my soul and brings me to trembling and tears. Lara is simply out of this world…
Lara Fabian is the top of the tree as far as singers go. Cannot think of anyone who can touch her. She is something else. As close To perfect as i have ever heard. All those other rated singers who believe all their hype must feel a little humbled when listening to this woman.

In general, when we've lived a little and we look back, we realize we've allowed ourselves to be often overwhelmed by feelings, by emotion rather than by reality, than by facts. When we're younger we greatly idealize things, situations, people. When we then went through some very hard sentimental setbacks like those expressed in this sublime song written by Serge Lama, then we endure the breakups much better. And above all, we anticipate them. However, it happened to me to have real tears running down my cheeks while listening to this magnificent interpretation of this track by Lara Fabian. And yes, what do you want ... Hunt the natural, it comes back at a gallop! 😋

@@laurathornton1456 Hahaha! ... this song was actually written by a French singer/songwriter in 1973. It has been performed by many artists since then but Lara Fabian's interpretation is so powerful and emotional that she now OWNS this song. Great reaction, loved it, you're actually the first reactor that I have seen that actually gets what the song is about, I personally don't see how anyone could get that wrong, but there you go. She is wonderful. Also do her performance of You Are Not From Here, always makes me think she's talking about Dimash (which is, of course, not true!!!) 😂😂😂
One of the most beautiful reactions I've seen to this absolute masterpiece. It's shocking this is a cover the way that Lara completely inhabited the character of the song. She is a living legend, inspiring people for several decades, including artists such as Dimash who said she was his idol as he was growing up (she sings in many languages as well, and nobody evokes emotions in an audience like she does). Dimash sang several of her covers such as Adagio, Mademoiselle Hyde, and Love is a dream. I really hope you react to at least a couple more of her songs. Just remember that she's at her best when she's LIVE! I'm not sure if you reacted to Dimash's Adagio, but please react to Lara's: ua-cam.com/video/jKtNuLG5jAo/v-deo.html

She sings in 11 languages This is from a special she did called from lara with love When she speaks of pouring her blood into him as she symbolically cuts her own throat with her thumb.. oh my soul...... & The ending We actually watch her pull herself back from the world the song created for her into herself & then recognize there even is an aduience with her.. Une des plus belles interprétations de cette chanson qui date des années 70, composée par Serge Lama et Alice Dona. Cette interprétation me tire les larmes à chaque audition
Thanks, man. Lara is a Belgian-Italian who is probably the best female singer in the world, though underappreciated. Such power and emotion! I first heard her when I lived in Belgium in the early 1990s. And she has improved with age. She competed against Celine DIon at Eurovision back in the 1980s; took 4th to Celine's 1st, but I much prefer Lara's voice to Celine's for its authenticity. Anyway, this song is an amazing showcase for her ability to bring out emotions in the listeners. You can see why Dimash considers her one of his idols. I see you've already reacted to her "Adagio" (which she co-wrote). Awesome as well. Have you had a chance to watch her sing with Johnny Hallyday, the famous French rock star, in Paris, from 1998? Jeh Swee Mah-LAH-dah is how it’s pronounced. You have got to watch more! Check out Addagio, Caruso, and Broken Vow. She writes lots of her songs herself. She has lots of stuff in English and like 14 or 18 different languages - though her primary languages are French and Italian.
At this time in her life Lara was going through a period of depression and contemplated suicide, but picked herself up and carried on. For a REAL tearjerker please review her "Je Taime" performance where the audience took over and showed her how much she is loved. As a 78 year old man, I can't help but think how ANY man could treat this gorgeous creature badly. By the way, she sings in 8 languages.
What you said at the end is ON POINT!! And very important. Anything is better then being lost in someone else...it is completely unnatural and must be broken out of!!!
All she sings is gold, her lives performances are all pure pearls ! Adagio, Caruso, Je t'aime, Mademoiselle Hyde, Broken vow, Love by grace, You're not from here, L'oublie.. And so many others ... She can sing in English, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish ... she incredible Love your reactions Jamel Peace from France ;)

As always, a great and thought-filled reaction.,
A beautiful statement and I would agree 100 percent. From another who loves Lora thanks.

“JA SWEE MALAHDuh” - I am sick , unwell. She is Belgian and Italian descent - lives in Canada.
I'm a French teacher and I love the phonetic spelling 🙂👍
@@annieholbis2430 hee. I studied phonetics as a Linguistics major- and was a German teacher. I even got them to pronounce umlaut sounds correctly !
@@TheDivayenta toll!
The e in malade in really only in songs, when we talk it’s a silent sound.
@@vacheriedevacherie1959 yes I know! But I’m showing him what she’s singing.
I had chills through the whole thing.
Je = juh
Suis = swee
Malade = -mah-lad
Lara = Lahr-ah
Fabian = FEY-bee-in
It means "I am sick" - this is one stunning performance 🤯🙌🏼❤️🇨🇦 She is one of the singers who Dimash thinks VERY highly of.
No no, Je suis malade=I'm sick is 💯 correct.
Perfect 👌
I'm not familiar with Lara, but WOW, I'm now going to seek out more of her music! That was incredibly moving! Thanks for reacting to this Jamal! 🤍
after many times i ask to you to react Lara Fabian live , gooood 😎👍 few other song live from Lara Fabian --> Caruso , Adagio = she wrote this song , Broken vow .. 👍✨🎶
now that is a performance, makes you feel what she feels

How lucky these people are to watch this masterpiece live. The magnificent Lara Fabian my all time favorite.
Hear she sing Love By Grace. I love this song. She is My favorite singer.
Thank you
Beautiful song ,Beautiful singer , beautiful voice .thumbs up to you 👍 for your reaction
You got the meaning of the song, and the performance all right, man. Glad you found out about her. I love this woman.
She is one of the greats, very glad you got to hear her and "Je suis malade" is one of her best pieces. Not her original song but I think she has made it hers. Try others she has done: Adagio, Je t'aime, Caruso. They will all probably make you weep, I certainly have. Stay safe.
Wow. She is incredible. She doesn't perform music, she IS the music.
French is such a seductive language ...I bet I could sing Mother by Danzig in French and make people believe it was a love song !!!
For curious Americans who know where Europe is, Lara Fabian was born in Belgium (Wallonia region).
Belgium has 3 official languages.
58% are Flemish (speak Dutch)
32% are Walloons (speak French)
10% are German speakers (speak German)
So she speaks French, but she is Belgian.
Just like Celine Dion or Mylène Farmer who were born in Quebec and sing in French,
they are successful but are not French.
This performance is the proof that emotion has no language barrier, great reactions. No matter if you do not understand french or you did not have the English subtitles! You can feel the emotions from her performance
Jamel’s face is PRICELESS!! 🤣
Lara is a mentor to Dimash 😀 (She has also worked a lot with Igor)
Absolutely brilliant! What a voice!
How anyone has a dry eye after hearing this, let alone the lyrics in English? Ck yer pulse....
Lara Fabian I love her eyes when she pushes the note 🎶She's amazing ❤️🙌🙌 other song by her "I will love again" lyrics in english 👌 on this one she pushes the note 🎶, so great 🙌🙌, beautiful woman, EVEN NOW 🔥🔥🔥👌
Another classic my parents used to listen to a lot. Honestly, this song never got to me back then, but now that i hear it again its going straight to my heart. Beautiful

I love this! I’m a former French Student so it’s awesome! 🥰🥰🥰
Incredible performance, great artist from Québec and Belgium, love your reaction. Im from Quebec City, love her

Lara Fabian is, in my opinion, a complete artist. She is one of the top female vocalists out there. She’s not only a great singer, producer, actress, and songwriter. But she is an actual genuine human being who can connect to millions of people worldwide through her music and her voice. You should check some more of her work. A beautiful and insightful reaction like yours is like a gift for her fans. 👏👏👏 You pronounce her name right. I suggest to watch from her Adagio, Broken vows, Caruso...you'll see her range and that she sing & speak perfectly in multiple languages.
Please react to Lara’s “Je T’aime(live concert)”. It’s really really amazing. 🙏🙏🙏
I am from Montreal, and when I was younger, her and Céline Dion we’re running the voice game. They were making each other better. She’s amazing

Aucune chanteuse n arrive au niveau de Lara Fabian, voix exceptionnelle et inégalée
She's amazing!! My first listen, thanks to you, Jamel!
Lara Fabian sings everything with deep true emotions. I love her.
This is a new level, almost a new universe of artistry. beyond anything heretofore.

You don't have to understand the words. Music truly is the international language.
I tell you what. They should hunt down the dirty dog that hurt that girl and take care of his miserable butt!
@@laurathornton1456 Hahaha! ... this song was actually written by a French singer/songwriter in 1973.
It has been performed by many artists since then but Lara Fabian's interpretation is so powerful and emotional that she now OWNS this song.
I can't imagine anyone could sing this song any better than her. 🎼

thank you ... I am delighted with your reaction. I encourage you to continue your discovery of Lara Fabian. magical, unique, breathtaking, you will not be disappointed. thank you for your reaction. take care of yourself, yours.
She’s also a judge on La Voix (the Voice) here in Québec, Canada 🇨🇦 I am obsessed with this song, that performance, I have goosebumps every time and so emotional
She is the best singer in the entire universe!! ❤️ Thank you!!

MARAVILLOSA, INCREIBLE EL SENTIMIENTO Y LA PASIÓN QUE PONE LARA FABIAN...PERCIOSA CANCIÓN
Definitely should have, but for some reason never did make it as big as Celine Dion and personally I think she has just as beautiful & powerful voice
If you liked that song, listen to Lara Fabian Je t'aime Live in Paris. It will leave you speechless!
The lyrics were hard to see, but you are describing Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
*In the one who made her sick, of course. It's a terribly destructive disorder.
Cuándo más reacciones a música mexicana?
She's Belgium Canadian born in Belgium & raised in Canada for a time she moved back to be with her parents, but she now lives back in Canada...
She sings in 11 languages This is from a special she did called from lara with love
When she speaks of pouring her blood into him as she symbolically cuts her own throat with her thumb.. oh my soul......
& The ending We actually watch her pull herself back from the world the song created for her into herself & then recognize there even is an aduience with her..
This is one of those rare incredible moments Magic is captured on film>
Thank you for sharing your reaction
Une des plus belles interprétations de cette chanson qui date des années 70, composée par Serge Lama et Alice Dona. Cette interprétation me tire les larmes à chaque audition
She is amazing. Great reaction as always. Lara is in a class by herself.
Adagio should be next
Yes! Her version is wonderful.
You should react to Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Jamal. Singing “La Llorona” with Natalia Lafourcade, or “María la Portuguesa”.
Thank me later 😉
Lara Fabian " je t'aime" live Paris 2001. Gives me chills. Every time.
Incroyable! Almost 17 million views. ua-cam.com/video/PHwIF6jmOCY/v-deo.html

At beginning I agree EXACTLY Jamal! Wow, everything ya said was 🎯 Excellent reaction brother!
Lara is the best of best. When ı hear her voice ı go to different planet. I love Lara.
Anything is better then being lost in someone else...it is completely unnatural and must be broken out of!!!
she didn't wrote this so she's in caracter
All she sings is gold, her lives performances are all pure pearls ! Adagio, Caruso, Je t'aime, Mademoiselle Hyde, Broken vow, Love by grace, You're not from here, L'oublie.. And so many others ... She can sing in English, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish ... she incredible
