This might be a good way to extend the life of cheaper variety of squid jigs, but this approach could ruin say a Yamashita squid jigs with a warm jacket thermo cloth. It might have issues (not sure) with their Keimura and Neonbrite UV for day squidding and the 490nm light wavelength glow for night squidding.
have u ever tried to apply marine varnish on metal jigs or even plastic lures to prevent color fading? would this work or its better to cover them with epoxy?
