      Hello William! Thanks for your comment. Our aftermarket parts perform similar to OE parts. In many cases, we supply OEM parts directly to manufacturers. Have a nice day!

    No it it rides like a Cadillac but it's a Chevrolet basically a Tahoe you know then I don't know how to decompress the shot or does it decompress itself when you put it in

      Hello David, thank you for your question. To decompress the shocks, follow these steps: gently press down (compress) the piston rod and rotate it 45 degrees. This action will release the internal lock of the shock, preparing it for use.
      Have a nice day!

    Can i use the OE Spectrum with aftermarket sport spring?

    • @GarageGurusEU
      @GarageGurusEU  7 місяців тому +1

      Hello, Ruban. Thank you for your question. OE Spectrum shocks and struts are made with specification of originally installed shocks of your car with improved performance in terms of faster response time, better stability and control.
      Therefore, we believe that OE Spectrum will not perform as expected with sportive, stiffer, springs.
      For more information you can visit our catalogue where you can find springs and shocks which can fit on your car:

      Thanks for the feedback.
      Will it affect absorber lifespan when mated to a sportive spring coil?
      Was very happy with the abs performance with sportive springs. But the front abs unit jammed out after a year. Thinking of getting them replaced but will reverting to original spring increase life span?

      @@rubansaravannan3083 Hi again! Every original suspension, including shocks, springs, and other components, is designed with certain specifications to absorb impacts transferred from the road. Once we change some of the mentioned components that differ from OE specifications, we can significantly reduce the performance and lifespan of shocks, as in your case.
      Regarding your suspension, the best solution is always to match shocks and springs for the same application. In your case, reverting to your original springs or choosing some Monroe aftermarket springs with OE Spectrum shocks will yield the best results in terms of comfort, stability, and lifespan.
      If you decide to replace your shocks and springs, don't forget to replace them with new Mounting and Protection Kits, as they also play a role in absorbing vibrations, thereby prolonging the lifespan of shocks even further.
      We hope this will be helpful. Feel free to reach out to us for more information.
      Have a nice day! 🙂
