    Interesting that the Sach is a private label KYB.
    KYB 344098 (front) & 344044 (rear) Excel-G are nitrogen filled. I have these on my 92 B2600i now - they work well with my rebuilt suspension.
    KYB also has the KG5476 (front) & KG4012 (rear) Gas-A-Just Monotube that are a hydraulic filled. I installed these when I rebuilt my suspension. I swapped them for the cushier KYB's I have now because they were too stiff IMO.

      Yes we thought that was interesting too.
      The kybs are good shocks either way. I just installed some on my 88 and it rides way better than the old ones since they were dead lol
      That’s good to know on the stiffer shocks. They mIght be good for someone that’s lowered

      @@FlakeGarageyou know some fun Information, Sachs only sells rebranded kyb shocks under Asian and some domestic vehicle applications. For German cars they are their own OEM shocks as the OEMs use Sachs for their German cars.

    I'ma belltech all the way I have full belltech street performance set front rear with belltech leaf and replicators with one leaf and leaf hangers with 4 in blocks as well with Angle blocks and a baby c notch in rear. Only running one leaf not redrilled just new 2 in drop shackles with leafand upfront have 2in belltech drop spindles shocks. All bump stops cut an shaved off. Never bottoms out. And has smoothness to ride esp in South Carolina where roads are rough. She rides smooth belltech deaf worth the money for smooth handle ride. and frontend parts I love way it handles. Also if you can't afford belltech yet go and ask for ford pinto kyb at parts store but let them know your lowered they'll last while an give decent ride for those on budget.

      They are pretty good stuff but they definitely missed the mark on the lowering leaf for the Mazda Bseries. The hardbody components are all great though. The pinto KYB are a solid option for lowered trucks for sure

    Would I need shorter shocks if my truck is lowered?

    • @FlakeGarage
      @FlakeGarage  Рік тому

      depending how low you are going, yes you'd need to get shorter shocks. 1-3 inches something like the belltech is fine, lower than that i'd recommend shorter ones

      I'm also lowered 4 inches front and rear on my 90 b2600i. Is the JDM my best choice? If so, what's the part #? Gracias
