  • This was the only time STYX played this song during this tour (apparently), if not the only time period. It is from a concert in the Meadowlands New Jersey, during the Paradise Theatre tour. The concert itself is so large that it would take forever to upload it.
Other than this gem of a recording, the rest of the concert is not anything special. I will still try to upload that concert whenever I get a chance.

Fantastic review on this album Terrence...So many people forget how much Dennis did to make this album a success! I'm also glad you gave the love to NOTHING EVER GOES AS PLANNED....Such an underrated song!

YES. They will never be truly STYX without him😢. Wish this fued would end before they’re all gone.

I'll prob get reamed for this but Styx in a way was like Taylor Swift the had the same compelling message over and over but said in in different ways IE this is clearly the twin of Why Me and to continue my sentence Critics were morons Styx had a serious message but didn't take themselves seriously I write about that in How Styx Explains the World part 7 of my Dramsoiredy

This is awesome! They also played the song live in Wichita, Kansas, on June 5, 1981.

OMG THIS IS SO GOOD - Thank you SO MUCH for uploading!!! This went over SO WELL, you can hear how crazy people were for this song, why did they only do this once??

Your welcome!!. Idk why they never did this one. It wasn't an EXTREMELY popular hit for them so they probably did not have time for it. I feel they should've done it more.

@@TessTango well the song has a lot of breaks, percussion, horn sections. I play in a band, getting all the band members to get all those details tight takes a lot of practice.

Ya know they talk about how Dennis didn’t like to tour. I thk that’s a bum rap. He’s so natural in front of a crowd. A TERRIFIC SHOWMAN. Will STYX ever reunite🤔😢. I like Lawerence fine. Buuuut he’s NO DENNIS. THANX for the upload👍

MachineryMan71 ~ Probably because of the sax solo... I noticed they didn't have it in this one either... They would've had to hire a saxophone player for the tour in order to keep playing it through out the entire time... It's really what makes the track stand out from the others on the Lp...

MachineryMan71 ~ Yes, I was thinking of that track during my last comment. It's also probably the reason *Why Me* isn't performed... At least I've never heard that song live, have you? My attitude is, if it can't or won't be performed live, why have a sax in the song at all? Even Stevie Nicks has a sax player at her shows to come out and perform the tracks where there's a solo...
