    • @jeff68camaro
      @jeff68camaro 18 днів тому +2

      No, because insurgents and guerrillas often intentionally base themselves within civilian areas and blend in with them. It is very difficult to know who is a combatant and who is a civilian. In the case of the US in the Middle East for the last few decades, the groups being targeted recruit directly from those same people and use accidental civilian deaths as one of their ways of persuading civilians to become insurgents. Read up on the measures that US Special Forces groups had to take to infiltrate those enemy groups and how much they had to work with local leadership, like village elders, to make that happen. In the Middle East, you can't fight without a ton of diplomacy to the thousands of local groups in different population areas, and those people have a lot more in common with the insurgents than they do with a bunch of Americans, just as an American would be more likely to trust an American guerrilla before trusting an enemy force who is invading their land. I might not agree with Jim down the street, but between working with him or working with some Chinese Special Forces guys who I see blowing up half my town, it's a no-brainer, and there's no village that gets to be neutral. Sad as it is, war is messy, and always will be. The idea of having no civilian deaths in a war against insurgents and guerrillas, is only a noble myth, and given the difficulty of attempting to fulfill that myth, coalition forces actually did about as well as you could realistically hope for.

    If you don't know what the FX-10 is, look that up, years ago it was a mach5+ drone using a scram jet engine. If I had to guess, they are now using a generator/alternator style system on the turbine, to charge the drone battery. It would be insane amount of energy creation, but it's just a theory of mine.

    The scariest part of the US military is the shit they isn't showing. I'm British, Literally one quart of English, Scot, Welsh and Irish but half of my family lives in the USA and been there over 50 times and i'm only 40. Seen most of the country longest time spent there was 4 months. Love the place and love the great bond our nations share. But not gonna lie it's sad to see the might of the British Armed forces decline. We really should be shoulder to shoulder with our US brothers and sisters. We were the worlds first real superpower and now look at us. Just wish we would back our forces and be back at the front of the military cutting edge. I wish there was no need for war weapons or soldiers but I'm a realist and a Patriot. The USA should be able to call on us in a second and us have the might to back them up. The world has gained too much freedom from the USA spending so much for the last 30 years. The rest of NATO including UK needs to really step up because if the USA backed out of the next WW (it's a pattern for them lol) we are screwed. NATO without USA will get steamrolled by Russia and Chine with their allies. God bless the UK, God save the King and God bless the USA peace my bros and sisters.
