Wow, Law Arming Teachers Causes Kids Used As Pawns To Storm Capital

- I'm sick and tired of the anti-gun lobby using kids as pawns to manipulate people's emotions to get them to make irrational decisions on gun control.
How is this any different than Mao's Red Guard, where he used the misguided youth as his pawns to push his agenda and ended up killing millions of people?
This has nothing to do with school shootings but has everything to do with Banning guns.
I know I sound conspiratorial, but look what they're doing?
You'd have thought they passed a law saying all criminals can have guns.
No, they're storming the capital screaming you have blood on your hands because you passed a law that gives teachers the ability to protect their students?
Please comment with your thoughts.

Should teachers be FORCED to carry? No. Should a teacher be ALLOWED to carry? Absolutely. I don’t understand why anyone wants to stop a law abiding gun owner from exercising their rights.
Because its not about gun control. Its about PEOPLE control. Guns are just an obstacle in the way to that police state democrats love.
Because Teachers keep on saying they don't want it.
@@DeadHaremGuy seems to be a mixed bag. Some teachers want it, some don’t. So I say again: why stop the ones that have CHL’s from exercising the right at the place of their employ?
@@DeadHaremGuy then they don't have to carry. But I know about half say they want to be able to carry, to be able to defend themselves and their students from active shooters.

@@brentshults529 Someone once said to me that the phrase "a good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun" isn't true to which I asked them, "in what instance has that ever been not true?" to which I've heard no reply. Any time someone is on a rampage with a firearm, it is ALWAYS another person with a firearm who means to do well by the majority who ends it. There is only one exception, a group of people tackling someone on a plane. This is just common sense, you cannot stop a greater force with a lesser force. Imagine if any of those teachers cowering in fear at Uvalde had a firearm. Things would have turned out a lot different.
Arming teachers isn't about promoting violence, it's about empowering them to protect innocent lives.

So lets get this straight. They want kids to be safe, but the moment teachers are given the ability to protect kids...they complain.
It's funny how they don't get angry about guards protecting our money.
But our children aren't worth it?
24/7/365 security for politicians = Good!
Protecting our most innocent and vulnerable = putting their lives at risk!
They don't bat a eye over these politicians having armed guards, the very politicians they drag their children to see brings them around people with guns but they get upset over a teacher who would actually protect the kids unlike the politician's armed guards who would care less about anyone else because they are being paid to protect one person only.
That's a really good point!

After the Dunblane Massacre here in the UK in the1990s, our government BANNED guns completely and made it nearly impossible for any civilians to get hold of them. We've never had a school shooting ever since, and that was more than 20yrs ago. When Australia had a gun problem, what did they do? They banned guns, and today, Australia is pretty much free of gun violence, much like the UK.
In the US, there are millions of people armed with guns. But even then, tens of thousands of people are killed by guns every year, and the death toll is only rising. So, what does this tell you? It should tell you very clearly that arming people with guns doesn't stop them from being shot at. So, why do you think that arming teachers will stop them from being shot at? It won't, and it won't stop kids from being shot either. You're trying to put out fire with more fire. Arming teachers is not the answer. If arming everyone with a gun makes society safer then America would be the safest country on earth, but it's not. More guns only leads to more people because killed. There's only one solution to your problem, and that's to abolish the 2A and ban all guns permanently. Get rid of them all. America would be a better place without any guns

The Sillent Generation sucked it up and armed up but now The Crybaby Generation have a bunch of Marxist teaching our kids guns are bad and they should be banned to be safe what a Lie
My town’s high school recently installed signs that say “our staff are armed and willing to do whatever it takes to protect our students from harm” I love it!
Maybe it'll keep the predators and groomers off of the playground fences too!
Following hurricane Harvey, police were very busy and short staffed. Nearly everyone was carrying a sidearm, either openly or concealed, AND THE STREETS WERE BOTH SAFE AND POLITE. There was a calming effect in knowing law and order was maintained by everyone and that criminals were vastly outnumbered. There are good holsters that protect a sidearm from "stranger" retrieval and having a number of trained teachers armed with concealed proper equipment would assure any would-be criminal not be sure who would be equipped to stop them. Look at the effect of a Florida Sheriff's remarks that encouraged homeowners to shoot violent break-in criminals. Break-in crime nearly stopped after that. I would expect the same from this legislation as well. Well done Tennessee.
Crazy how these people are convinced that every teacher is a murdering psychopath yet still trusts them with their kids for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week
They constantly say, “What if” “what if” “what if”. Instead of being proactive. They literally want you to run, hide and dial 911🤦🏽♂️
These types are usually projecting their own emotions, poor impulse control, and how they'd behave given the chance.
It's because they switch up depending on the topic. This also happens when constitutional carry bills get passed. We have 29 now and yet nothing they said would happen happened. Who woulda thunk. It's almost like the people they are worried about do it anyway.
This is what I am trying to figure out. How the heck does it make sense to them that they can go to school with these teachers, but not trust them. The law isn't going to stop a disgruntled teacher anyway, it just allows the good ones to be armed.
@bl8danjil Whats ironic is that this law requires teachers to go through what they call "common sense training" before even carrying in school, about the same or even more rigorous than most blue states CCW training. So essentially they are showing their true colors. This is never about safety. It's about control. They just hate guns.
Children deserve the same protection as banks, jewelery stores and politicians.
and you don’t need metal detectors or the ban hammer to do so. All you need are hardened doors and a competent police force to keep things civil and safe :)

Sitting ducks with no weapons around them all the time outside of only a chance of an attacker vs having weapons around them all the time but having a very good chance to stop an attacker, and the attacker is still a very low chance to begin with.
It's perception, not factual.
The weapons themselves are seen as the threat or risk, and they might be more comfortable with only a slim chance of one being around (being used by an attacker) vs having them around, even if to stop the real danger.
They also underestimate their teachers' self control and capabilities to keep their guns from being misused. A lot of students probably first think of this as teachers open carrying too.
And also primarily thinking of teachers being forced to be armed despite many not being fit to do so.

The complaint about "what happens when people misbehave" says it all. The people making the complaint are planning to get rowdy and don't want anything to get in their way.
Being from Tennessee, I completely agree with this law. My wife's private school already has an armed guard. Now, one thing about this law is that the school district must have an MOU with local law enforcement. If teachers were armed and had the annual required training, how much earlier would the threat at Covenant School have been eliminated? Most school districts are completely against it and will not set an MOU. Now, if a shooting happens at school and the school district does not allow armed teachers, does that open the schools to additional lawsuits? Then guess what, it is the citizens who now have to pay the costs.
If you are afraid your child's teacher will snap, take your child out of that school, for God's sake!😮
I'm more worried about the parents and the kids, more than the teachers snapping.
This argument doesn't even hold any water since many other states, counties allow this yet nothing they say is gonna happen happened. This is the same mass hysteria that happens from anti gunners when another constitutional carry bill passes. Even though we have 29 now, they still spread this mass hysteria like it's gonna be mad max.

When the second amendment was ratified in 1791, it said that no govenrment can infringe on the right to bear arms because that right already existed before any government. The fact that some sort of permit was required is a violation of both the right and the declaration of the right.
"I don't want my brother anywhere near guns in schools!"
Bro, you do know there are already armed officers in TN public schools, right?
The same people saying “1 child > all guns” also support the “right” to unalive an unborn child.
We just passed and our governor signed this law into immediate effect in Iowa and some disagreed but everyone behaved. Arming teachers is about protecting the students and preventing them from possibly being killed or harmed.
As an 18 year old I fully support gun rights and the second amendment.

Oh, make no mistake, that generation IS ignorant. Thanks to our public education system, and the internet.
There's a reason why Japan, Hitler, England (of the 19th century), the former USSR, (and I'd bet my arse, China too) all concluded with overwhelming certainty that the US is impossible to invade with a ground war. But the delusion is strong with this new brand of commies.

"I shouldn't have to blah, blah, blah". As long as there is evil in the world you will have to and teachers bearing arms might just save you from that evil
Teachers should be allowed to have protection, just like the rest of us!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great job TN. A state passed an actual decent law.
It's funny how some folks will preach about protecting our kids one minute, then turn around and oppose putting armed teachers in schools the next. Total hypocrites!

How is the teachers having guns legally for protection more dangerous than the kids coming to school with guns illegally to hurt?
I mean these are lefties. Lefties these days side with the criminals. So I'm assuming the "one child" they say is worth more than "all the guns" is the one that decides to shoot the school up and might be taken down by a teacher.
Make it make sense
Hey! Stop that! Stop trying to use logic. Just be emotional, repeat the message, and cry your weary little eyes out.
They think guns are demons that can possess people to become criminals and/or attack people on their own. They won't say it that way, but it's what they believe.
1:25 "I shouldn't have to text my parents for the last time, 'I'm scared, there's a school shooting.' It shouldn't have to be my teacher."

Yes. Or having to zig zag. Lol
First, they have to live long enough to get old enough to vote.
If children knew what was best for themselves, parenthood would end in the delivery room
If you can't trust a teacher to be around your kid with a gun how can you trust a teacher to be around your kid at all?
Funny thing is that no school that has implemented a policy allowing teachers to be armed has had a single school shooting since doing so. And back in the day schools had rifle clubs and taught kids basic gun safety and there was NEVER a school shooting at a time when the students themselves were armed...
I’ve been saying to people that sort of thing should be brought back normalized again, only issue is people will react like in video at first. One of the biggest issues with and creators of anti gunners is down to ignorance and lack of knowledge. I didn’t know this was how it used to be outright though I figured there was probably something. Wish I could of had that when I was younger.
You've stumbled upon the heart of the issue. Not one school that allows armed teachers has had a shooting.
That's a problem for people who want to use shootings to ban guns.
2A is non-negotiable. Period.
Agreed.
people love the opportunity to yell and shout and vent their anger
Teachers don’t have to carry. They can if they want and it’s a lot of training for it. In this day and age I applaud this.

It's interesting as well that students go through fire drills, earthquake drills, and tornado drills. But those don't traumatize them. The vast majority haven't even gone through a false alarm. Almost like they're keying off the adults around them for how to respond. But they'll all huddle behind their armed teacher and feel safe because they see an adult with the ability to control the situation.
ABSOLUTELY
Exactly! I graduated in tn in 1989. And all 4 years we had a school resource officer walking the halls, WITH A GUN ON HIS HIP! And a lot of students had rifles in their vehicles during hunting season. Anybody wanna take a guess at how many school shootings we had? That's right, 0!!!
Arrest the KIDS charge then with felonies and they will see how hard it is to do anything with a felony on their record
I guess they don't like being safe in school? I thought they wanted safe schools.
Like he said. It's not about safety, it's about confiscation
They want to FEEL safe, that's very different from actually being safe
@@josephatherley It's hard to believe they wouldn't feel safe knowing that a teacher could potentially stop a shooter instead of waiting for police to eventually come.

This made me proud to be a Tennessean.
The reason these children are so hysterical is BECAUSE of the MSM and their parents. When Gov Lee signs it into law, maybe the Tennessee Board of Education will have every school hold special assemblies explaining the guidelines and tgese facts to the children and their parents.
That won't do any good if they have already learned to deny reasoning and reality. They'll just ignore everything that is being said, like most people do during assemblies, then do everything they can to try to get a gun or get one to go off. Then they can falsely claim that a teacher threatened them or shot at them. Next the public will go into a frenzy and it'll all backfire, because that's how evil works. It uses deceit and the ever so present human stupidity to control everything.
The level of responsibility and accountability that the majority of owners of firearms especially those that have concealed carry permits.

As a member of Gen Z, these kids dont represent all of us
I would imagine that it's a vocal minority in TN. But of course the controlled media will pretend it's a popular opinion that represents all children and young adults.
It’s a very small fraction. All kids still in high school or college. Not really working on their own merit yet.
They are pretty much useless
These kids make me sick. When I was in school, you could leave your truck unlocked, window down, 30---30 in gun rack and nobody even noticed.
Yep I remember that when I was growing up. I actually grew up in the Nashville area, and the school I went to from 1st to 5th was pretty old and still had rifle racks in the coat room. That’s when I learned that kids used to carry rifles to school as late as the 50’s after speaking with my dad about it. We always had guns in the house, my grandmother had guns in her house, and everyone I grew up with had some kind of gun in their houses.
Even in the mid 70s we had rifles in our trucks at school.
Look at that insurrection.
Tax all political campaign contributions and use the money to protect our children and their schools!
