The Elgato Facecam Pro is a 4K 60FPS USB Webcam that is ridiculously good. It may not be DSLR level but it's also a 3rd of the price of a DSLR setup and much easier to setup.
If you are wanting to upgrade from a simple 1080p webcam but don't want to spend DSLR money than this might be the webcam for you.

Ok - THIS is actually a better webcam for the money. Definitely worth checking out if you don't need the 4K 60fps feature. This camera will do 1440p 60fps and 1080p 60fps plus better colour and active tracking - ua-cam.com/video/mxPio2-YQb0/v-deo.html .. just saying - check it out before buying this ^

I purchased this camera yesterday for use in AUS (Finally available here, that wait felt like a lifetime), hoping it'll arrive tomorrow!

Great video! Anyone with a DSLR setup doesn't necessarily need to get this cam, however it may still benefit that content creator by having a dedicated Face Cam for their workstation. It's not a cost-effective decision, but it is a convenience decision. That FaceCam is amazing!
Thanks mate! Yeah if you have a DSLR setup don't bother, but if not then this is a great option! I personally use this camera in conjunction with my Sony DSLR but it's totally overkill :)

Great vid! I think if I had some extra money to burn but not nearly enough for a DSLR, I think I'd purchase the Elgato webcam. I use the Logi 4k Brio but it's pretty bad in comparison to the Elgato one, ngl. Sure, I could always invest in a DSLR, tripod, battery, and camlink.. but I'm still so early in my "content creation" career. I'm not sure I'm ready to go that expensive for a camera just yet. Anyhow, informative video. Excellent demonstration. I appreciate the comparisons! :)

I'm not sure but from looks of it, the elgato facecam pro seems to have a little bit of a delay in your mouth movements to the audio from your mic?
At 7:40, you mention effects like blur work on an M1/M2 Mac. This doesn't show up for me and I can't find any info online to suggest it's possible. Have any info? Cheers Joe

Ya the video quality is really good. I figured this was another cash grab but I’m pretty impressed with quality. If it was $100 cheaper I think this would sell like crazy for the average streamer/YTber.

the camera you've got in your pocket can work as a webcam with free software from Camo, and offers a far, far better camera than even this camera, which is the best on the market, and literally the only one with actually decent image quality.
Camo's app is such an ass. If you're actually doing actual work with trying to do a specific lighting in a dark room like neon signs, Camo can't customize what Elgato software is able to do. Camo can make a neon sign clear, but the rest of the settings sucks where it just turns the whole camera screen completely dark with someone in it.
For $499 AUD would you buy it? If not, why not?

Why would you run the zve10 at 25 fps for online content? Standards like PAL are completely irrelevant to online content which runs on 60hz monitors.
I only want to point out to you that 24/25 fps translates horribly to a 60hz monitor especially if you first drop it on a NLE timeline THEN let the computer scale it to 60fps. Just not logical
But Sony does not make DSLR cameras. A digital single-lens reflex camera name literally means there is a reflex mirror element. There is no mirror in ZVE10, or any Sony camera, or any camera at this point (except Pentax).
