The keto bread is great for making breadcrumbs.
Just bake in the oven till crunchy, put it in a food processor and follow your favorite breadcrumb recipe.
Also great for French toast with sugar free syrup.

When I moved to the Pacific Northwet from Florida a decade ago, I had never seen either Trader Joe's or Adi. Thankfully, TJ's is pretty prevalent here in the Seattle area. But, still no Aldi in sight. Hopefully they'll expand to here sooner rather than later.

Lol yep those pork rinds are 79 cents at the Aldi here too. Aldi is Keto conscious, I LOVE their Keto cookies in chocolate chips and snickerdoodle. I get their seaweed too!

Aldi had 2 kinds of keto cookies this week. The main ingredient is sunflower seeds and at 2 carbs for 4 little cookies it puts them even with a lot of fat bomb candy. The chocolate was bland and the chocolate chip were buttery. I think they were $3 for 4oz. The King Aurthur almond flour chocolate chip recipe substituting Lily's chips and sucralose make a better cookie imo.

Our Aldi stores in Australia haven't got many keto products you guys are lucky
Just this week our local aldi dropped a few new "keto" options... keto in "-"'s because some are definitely "dirty"... I got 3 new keto ice cream flavors, they usually have PB fudge, mint, & cookie dough...they added Brownie batter, Salted Caramel & Butter Pecan. I found a wheat free keto wrap using flax...not bad. Crepini wraps & Eggini wraps. Halloumi fries yum! There are some dirty carb conscious meal bars, they had these new cookies & cookie snack packs 3 or 4 flavors havent tried those. Oh so many things! Lol great video!
Yes! We just got those items in as well. I picked up the pizze, cheese stick fries, and wraps but have only tried the fries so far. Cookies were already all sold out by Wednesday so wasnt able to pick those up :/

I had to stop keto due to making me ill. I ended up with severe pancreatitis and gallstones due to the amount of high fats from both good and bad fats I might add. I even tried to cut the fat down but it just made me really ill, so much so I ended up being hospitalised for a week. The diet works but be careful

I tried to get in to pork rinds - didn't work but they ARE good in meatloaf instead of breadcrumbs! wish we had an Aldi where I live - small northern town. I make my own parmesan chips but most of this stuff we don't find here. :(

Hi, I’m on a flexible keto diet and I love your suggestions! I have lost a good amount of weight too. Quick question, I heard that macadamia nuts are really good on a keto diet as a snack. Where can I find it at a decent price? Checked online and they are so expensive for a small little bag. Thanks in advance!

Macadamia nuts probably have the best macronutrient ratio, high in fat, low in carbs. The reason they are so expensive is because they are only harvested for a small amount of time in one small section of the world (fun fact!)
All of the sardines at my Aldi's are in cottonseed oil, not sunflower oil. Not that sunflower oil is perfect but it's a heck of a lot better than cottonseed oil.

I have been called a “Carb N**i” because I know what my body needs and I eat the way I need to. (6 years Keto, -130lbs, off all diabetic meds). Well meaning people (even close friends) encourage me to “just eat it” and when I don’t, the judgement, comments, and name calling starts. Just remember it goes both ways. I don’t judge someone “Keto” who is tucking into a high carb dessert. Please don’t pressure me to buy in so the eater doesn’t feel guilty. You do you, is my motto.

You will want to check blood sugars after eating the Aldi bread. A couple of guys that do a lot of testing of different keto foods, the bread raised their blood sugars.

Aldi is my store, but I never see the bread, or cheese wraps here in New Jersey.
Look down the bread aisle and look for the loaf over 3 bucks. It is sometimes hard to sop by name but the price stands out. If not ask the manager.

Have you tried the keto ice cream? I did and I'm kind of on the fence. The texture is weird and not very flavorful. Brownie batter swirl.
I was surprised at how mediocre the keto cookie dough ice cream was. The ingredients were great but homemade is about 1000 times better. Also the keto friendly roasted veggie pizza is terrible.

Yep, it does have soybean oil. It's a free country, if soybean oil is the reason you don't buy this bread, besides the fact that it tastes Really good, knock yourself out!

And yes, soybean oil is the reason I would hesitate to eat it, seeing as it's one of the worst oils you can eat, and is generally recognized as one of the no-no's of the keto diet Loaded with inflammatory omega 6 fatty acids, and also highly likely to be genetically modified (unless is says non-gmo on the label) to withstand being sprayed with the herbicide Roundup (glyphosate). Some folks like to know about this stuff, and avoid it. But if that is not a concern to you, enjoy!

@@jamesmurray5345 I mostly make mine, I get the ideas off the free recipe library and the Facebook page of the keto fitness club on Facebook as they are done on UK based ingredients . People also post where they get uk based fat bombs from.They also have a UA-cam channel. Sugar free Natalie also has a video on keto Uk snacks and UK low carb substitutes which is quite helpful.

@@TheDietChef carb count varies with the flavor. The Aldi’s keto ice cream I tried tasted a lot like Rebel. It’s a rare treat for me and I weigh out the portions. If ice cream is a trigger, avoid it.
When I saw their carb count last year I put it right back down. Enlightened keto and Rebel have better options.
@@pie_stains the brand at my Aldi’s was exactly like Rebel! Same nutritional breakdown, similar packaging, same taste and texture. Keto tastes like styrofoam to me so I did a melt test. It never melted! Ice cream that doesn’t melt???? Maintained its shape after 3 hours at room temp. That told me all I needed to know.

Sadly the keto bread aldi has in Australia is only 85% lower carbs and tastes like chaff. It doesn’t crisp up under the toaster. Aldi australia could really up their no/low carb game. Woolworths is doing better
