Yes, but having said that, Chris Harris (for it is he....) put 1,000 road miles on the new car in 24 hrs to run it in (the 1st UK car had only 10 miles on it) prior to thrashing it around a test track, and was absolutely clear the new GT3's ride on the road is better (less harsh) than the previous model - which contradicts Matt's experience. Matt is great, but on the ride feedback I'd go with the West Country Monkey's opinion)

My absolute dream track car would be an old Group C prototype or IMSA GTP car... those would run circles around even some modern hypercars on track... if I could drive it correctly.... In the GT3 record video Porsche timed for both ways of timing the lap (full lap like it's timed today and full lap minus the old pits straight, how it was timed up until a few years ago for safety reasons).
Best part is always Matt getting nervous when Zack drives. Loving Zack being on full time to do the two takes. Also ring times are impressive but the track itself also evolves and gets a bit faster over time.

I drove a GT3 on track in Vegas and I agree, the lack of torque is noticeable. If I wanted to daily a 911, a turbo is the way to go for normal street driving. However, the GT3 has the best steering and brake feel I've ever experienced.
The precision in which UK and US outlets come out simultaneously with the new GT3 - in the same colour, with same spoiler, the only difference being the side of steering wheel - and Atlantic ocean - kinda works with the car. EINFACH GUT GEMACHT!
In order to keep manuals alive, you could use your platform to refuse to review flappy paddle gearboxes when the manual is available. Love your stuff bro

If you watch any nurburg ring open track days , you know who this car is made for , not people driving around LA LA land, and it is faster at the limit than the turbo s , Misha already showed the old one gets it in the corners
Love your excitement showing the new GT3. The car is an amazing piece of modern engineering and no other company could built something this bad ass like Porsche. I still prefer the 991.2 when it comes to the body style and size. Might warm up to the new one once I’ve seen it a few times in person. Can’t wait for the GT3RS. Good job!

It's also on the website. 4:28 and 12:02 Incorrect again. With so many subscribers relying on you, we expect you to do your homework. 6 min 59s is with the new track configuration. That would be 2s slower than the 918 (not 8s) IF it was apples to apples...which it is NOT. The 992 GT3 is actually 2s faster than the 918 because, on the same track config, it did 6 min 55s vs. the 918's 6 min 57s. It's also one second faster than the 991.2 GT3 RS, which did 6 min 56s.
This new 992 GT3 wing definitelyy grew on me. Sweet lookin car! Great decisions made when producing this car. Especially glad we don't have to sit around hoping they make a manual trans and it's already available! 😍 I think I prefer the more simple 991 GT3 front hood than this one here. Gt3 drove the whole lap and the 918 whole track minus a short stretch on which the nordschleife exits to the Grand prix course and the other way around. So if you subtract the stretch the from the gt3’s lap, it's actually faster
6:59 at the ring. What have fast cars come to? Not a car to enjoy on the road. You need a track to enjoy it. A torque filled motor is better on road. Something you can enjoy without sky-high revs and speed. I never thought I’d say that but it’s my honest opinion.
The stiffer suspension could be to support the increased down force compared to the last gen. Usually, you need to have higher spring rate when you increase down force to support the higher loads on the suspension.
THIS!! Nothing is free, there are always trade-offs. Not always for the better , but for the sake of selling a product, they have to improve on the previous one to justify it.
Spot on review. I recently sold my 991.1 GT3 because I'm just not doing track days anymore and driving the car around town was not great and it's not a great GT because of the noise factor. A Turbo S Cab is on the radar..

Yup noticed that too. According to an answer given by TST on the same question Quote: "Porsche said the car didn't like our 91 octane fuel but that it won't be a problem with production cars." Hmmm
Euro spec car threw a code with 91 octane. Didn’t affect performance and we were told to keep driving
I work for Mercedes now, used to work for BMW, valeted for years, gotta Camaro SS now..... & I can only imagine what eating up a track w/ a GT3 is like, seems like Porsche propelled this 992 variant into an echelon of its own. 500hp & rear wheel drive & STILL outdoing the best on the planet lap after lap
