Some education: GT3 Touring = Z06 GT3 = Z06+Z07 Performance Pack GT3RS = ZR1 (coming soon) So, this review had the cards stacked against the Corvette right from the start.
@@fqeagles21 Agreed I went for a 296 GTB over the 992 GT3 RS, I couldn't see any point upgrading from my 991.2 GT3 RS. I have also driven the 992 GT3 RS hard on track and fully logged it, whilst excellent it didn't blow me away anymore than my 991.2 GT3 RS, on slow and medium average speed tracks the difference is small - high average speed tracks like Spa or the ring you gain more benefit for sure. Probably the bigger issue for me was the engine and gear box didn't move the game on. Couldn't care less about the interior, adjustable damping in cab is great. And yet overall it didn't really move me - probably because the engine and gear box didn't really move the game on. I might take a look at the 992.2 RS, we'll see.
GM engineers specifically spent a ton of time working on the exhaust itself to perfect the sound. It’s designed to be center exit. The side exit euro spec sounds nothing like the USA spec
@@JeepCherokeeful You can blame the stupid Euro emission regulations for that, this sounds like a completely different car in this video, plus lower HP on the euro spec.
First, the Z06 and GT3 target different buyer expectations, and I don't think there are many people cross shopping them. The GT3 wholly is track focused, whereas the Z06 is more of a balance between daily driving and track use , and only comes with a targa top or as a convertible. Does the GT3 even offer a targa top or convertible? (If so, I have not seen one). Second, the Z06 and GT3 are in completely different price categories. The base price of the Z06 is more in line with the Carrera. Considering price, and the fact that the Carrera is closer to the Z06 in daily driving comfort, that probably would be the better comparison. But, I can't recall the last time a car magazine compared a Corvette to another car in its price category - they almost always compare the Corvette to cars costing significantly more money (1.5X, 2X, 3X, etc.). The fact that car magazines cannot find an equivalently priced car that even comes close to the Corvette in daily driveability, performance, etc., that tells you which car really is the winner.
Nobody is cross shopping a C8 Z06 and Carrera (theres the Z51 C8 for that). They serve different buyers markets. On a side note good luck getting a Z06 for anywhere close to MSRP. They are all going for $130k the second you tick any options box which puts them squarely in 911 GT3/Touring (not RS) price points to which many people are cross shopping them. The GT3 RS is obviously an outlier and theres nothing in the market that track focused short of a McLaren Senna so you can't objectively compare it to anything.
@@adonislimes6156 There is a fallacy in your argument - Corvettes are not the only cars selling over MSRP. Markups on 911 GT3s are even higher than on Z06s, at least here in the U.S. Even used 2022 and 2023 GT3s are selling for almost $300k. Of course, you can get a Z06 for MSRP if you are patient enough to wait in the allocation line. The same probably can be said for the GT3. Moreover, most people have a budget when shopping for a new car, and do not significantly vary from that budget, certainly not enough to jump from the price of a Z06 to the price of a GT3. So, although few people may cross shop a Z06 with a Carrera, even fewer will cross shop a new Z06 with a new GT3.
@@adonislimes6156 Also, very few people are cross shopping a Stingray with a Carrera for the same reason I noted in my previous reply. The MSRP for the base Carrera is nearly double that of the Stingray, and even a little higher than the MSRP of the Z06. Start adding in options to get a Stingray and Carerra comparably equipped, and the Carrera will be more than double the price of the Stingray. People rarely make that jump in price when buying a new car. The vast majority of people buying Carerras want a Porsche, and never give serious consideration to a Chevrolet in the first place.
@@adonislimes6156 Lastly, since the question may come up, I did buy my C8 Stingray at MSRP and, yes, I did have to wait a while. The Bowling Green manufacturing plant now is at full production, so wait time on Stingrays is significantly shorter than when I purchased mine. It should get even shorter unless there is another strike by the United Auto Workers.
I love that corvettes are always compared to much more expensive cars! The bang for the buck is what makes me love corvettes so much. I race a c5z06 that I payed $15,000 for and it is so satisfying to beat cars that cost 50-60k more.
Yup, literally the only reason their version sounds like shit is because of compliance to euro laws. Watch speed phenoms first time drive in C8 Z06 to get an actual estimate of how the car sounds like, its glorious.
Keep in mind the euro spec Z06 seems to have a different exhaust than the US spec Z06 (It looks like the base C8 Exhaust). Didn’t find the sound the same at all in comparison to the US reviews.
European reviewers always do this. Afraid to compare Apples to Apples. Why? There are PLENTY of European sports cars in the 110K pound range, but they know the Vet would embarrass them, so they find a way out.
Here in the states, Z06 Corvettes have a center-mounted exhaust. It's unfortunate that the cars produced for overseas markets have the same exhaust position as the Stingrays.
The Z06 is an absolute steal relative to the Porsche. It is a monster on track too - every inch a true rival for the mighty GT3RS. Well done GM for building a car that has become an instant legend.
A legend is not a ugly fat pig 3700lbs mid engine that we see everywhere! It's a american sports car. Let me choose every other mid engine than this design who was already old in 2020!
Does that mean I can have a Z06 in two different colors in my garage. One for rain and one for shine...These can be picked up state side for around $125 with a few options.
@@Epsonblade 1) You said “these can be picked up for $125k” not “I can get these for MSRP because…” 2) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA @ MY DADDY OWNS DEALERSHIPS SO I CAN 😂😂😂 PRICELESS! Thank you for the meme! 3) My daddy can beat up your daddy! 😘😘😘

Real race car driver supported by each manufacturer's support teams (test starts aprox 26min in / surprisingresult). Although that Porche is SWEET, for the money the Zo6 is an easy choice to make.
I mean, to each his own, but I've heard that Z06 engine, and I frankly have no idea what he's talking about. This video did it no justice, but it sounds glorious. Also, didn't realize this immediately, but the entire exhaust setup in the euro-spec car is completely different than US Z06. In the States, the Z06 has 4 central exhaust tips. I wonder if that's due to European noise regulations, and if that's the case, what a shame.
The Corvette is an astonishing accomplishment to this day, because it's built by a mass production car company. Porsche is dedicated to building sports cars and couldn't pull this off without selling SUVs with VW money. For GM, a general-purpose car builder, to build a flat-plane V8 super car is as astounding as Honda building the NSX, and perhaps more so because GM has been doing it non-stop for 70 years! It's just as long a legacy as Porsche.
@@TylerSmithMusic1 Although I understand, GM has been teetering on bankruptcy for decades now with government bail outs and such. Unless we all are willing to pay Porsche money for GM product, I'm not sure what the answer is.
@@dash-ryan which were paid for by American tax dollars. We save the company, and get charged over price for every vehicle as they make record profits and stock buyback? Porsche is a specialty company I got that. But mass production is only impressive if you take out the fact that the people who create the vehicles you love, are worked like 2nd class citizens
@@TylerSmithMusic1 Just wait until the market is flooded with inexpensive Chinese EVs. They will also turn huge profits because their employees are worked like 3rd class citizens, at best. My point is that although you make a good point and all employees should be given fair wages and good work conditions, how do compete in a global economy with product made for far less with cheap and inhuman labor? My only thought is for all people to change their buying habits in favor of supporting your local economy. Walmart is a perfect example of how people who don't like the way Walmart shuts down the local mom-and-pop operations when they show up, but is that Walmart's fault or the community's fault for not supporting local business? How do you convince people to take the higher road in their buying habits, when they themselves need a price break to survive? You're right, GM needs to treat it's employees better, but you also have a responsibility then to support GM with your buying dollars.
Did I miss something or was the gigantic price difference between these two cars barely mentioned? Also, Z06 production is just ramping up and the car should be easier to get soon... but almost no one will ever be able to actually buy a GT3RS.
Price difference....with import costs to the UK they'd be a similar price and given this is a UK review...................the C8 is going for between £100k-£140k. Which converting us $120k-$160k US.
Car Magazine has the most illogical pairings of cars and then makes the judgment based on random facts. There is no way that people are cross-shopping these two cars. First off, unless you have a garage full of Porsches, there is no way you can get in line to buy a new GT3 RS. Plus, let's load some luggage into each car. The GT3 RS is a track day monster, and the Z06 is simply not that.
I'm guessing different regulations just to legalize it there? Sad they don't get the same car. Kinda reminds of 30 years ago, when they ruined Lambo's with EPA stuff just to be able to sell them in America.
US made plenty of great cars other than the Z06 like the Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE, 2016 Dodge Viper ACR, 2020 Shelby GT509 carbon fiber track package, C7 ZR1, and 2022 Cadillac CT5 V blackwing.
Now remember that this will be the next to slowest C8 Corvette of the five trims that will eventually be made available. Just imagine this car with twin turbos around 1000hp, AWD, hybrid and more carbon fiber.
The Vette is better looking, sounds better even with the hokey Euro exhaust, performs just as well, is way more livable and half the price. You can keep the Porsche...
Yes, literally 2x the price, I think you can max out with options close to 400k before dealer markup, while the vette never even touches 190k before dealer mark up. Base z06 is 120kish, base GT3RS is 299,999.99.
Lol they have to a qualify that as “v8”. No Supercar manufacturer makes a na v8 anymore and no the corvette does not have the highest horsepower per liter of any NA production engine,,, not close
@@WindyCity1992 my point is it’s hardly a record. Not one high end car manufacturer makes a NA v8. Not Porsche, not Ferrari, not Lamborghini, not bmw, not Audi, not Mercedes. The only ones are toyota, Dodge, Chevy, and ford. So lol it’s not impressive!
It's very predicable that the much more expensive GT3 RS won the test, but I think it´s typically a conclusion of european biased and unfair test: first because based on price, the Z06 is also cheaper than the ordinary GT3 , the 911 that it should be compared, and in the pure performances the Z06 probably could humiliate both 911 GT3s in the most of numbers. In my opinion this Corvette CR8 Z06 is to European sports cars what the P-51 Mustang was to German fighters in the middle of last World War, a real paradigm breakdown. The P-51 had a american version of English Merlin engine , this Corvette a american copy of of a Ferrari engine. In general this GM's car has a superior engineering based on better fundamentals at a very competitive cost while the 911 is attached in its tradition and historical relevance in the sport cars world to justify its price. The fact that in the track, the Corvette Gt Am version have beaten 911 Gt am (RSR with a central engine) version so easily in the last Le Mans.
And yet a raced prep version of this very car beat Porsche at Le Mans by a large margin. Euro reviewers twist themselves in knots attempting somehow detract from the car to the point where they contradict each other or test convertible version head to head with its lower spec tires, suspension tune, weight etc. If this exact car were somehow coming from a new Brit marque and priced the same as the old Euros it would be celebrated as a revelation and certainly win the comparison
I belive this is cynical from the so called press. That is because they seat neck deep in the ass of mighty makers like VAG striving for their ever recurring cars and events and advertising, while they gain nothing from erratic american performance cars presence and market share. @@jpslayermayor9293
It is not so difficult to accept that regardless of the price, the 911 gt3/rs was always superior to the z06 of each generation including this one, and well, the Corvette here in Europe and the rest of the world costs the same or more than a 911 and you talk about the Europeans are biased when literally all their magazines like motor trend or car and driver are completely biased with foreign cars or I remind you of the c7 zr1 beating the 911 gt2 in the vir when the 911 gt2 practically destroys the Corvette on any track in the rest of the world , or comparing the lap of the c8 z06 in the VIR with a professional driver against the lap of the 992 gt3 and an amateur driver, the numbers do not lie and the 911 was always superior and the only excuse they had was the price but now with the Corvette costing the same as a Porsche, they no longer have excuses and if we talk about lemans, the 911 crushed the Corvette in the last 5 years
@@Steven-re3id Man you a masterpiece of Porsche fanboy ... The last five GT Am Pro victories in Le Mans before 2023 were 2 from Ferrari, 2 from Aston Martin ( the Brand that won more GT class races in Le Mans in this century) and only 1 from Porsche, and this year Corvette won very easily . By the way the last year that Porsche won (2020) there was no Corvette in the race neither CR8 or CR7 and the car Porsche uses in Le Mans is the RSR , a "especial" 911 with a CENTRAL ENGINE. No that car is not a real 911 with rear engine as RS GT3 or 911 R . Porsche RS GT2 was another model with turbos and it is no more in production and had almost twice the price of GT3 RS... CR8 is not the front engined CR7.... is a totally different car with CENTRAL ENGINE as RSR that Porsche use in competition ( Can you tell me why) . In fact it is a Ferrari copy with more cm3 in the engine. The trick that GT3 RS uses to be slight faster in track is its DRS, but its is only a aero trick copied from F1 that aftermarked tunners can adapt in any car and it can be very dangerous if used in the regular roads.

Not only that, watch Harry's Garage review and you'll get an ASTONISHINGLY differently viewpoint of the GT3 on British roads. Hmmm, I wonder how there could be such a strong disparity in opinions?
British reviewers by default will downplay the flaws of Ferrari and other manufacturers like they don’t exist but when it comes to the Corvette they always point out flaws that they make seem to be complete deal breakers or not good enough. Very bias in my opinion.
@ernestkeller186 British car reviewers are becoming like business class reviewers, never mind all the effort and engineering that it takes to deliver the product because at the end it comes down to how dry the steak was. Absolutely silly
@@coreyegan6751 same could be said about Ferrari and other European brands and all their flaws, crazy thing is that they don’t even bother fixing it or making improvements because of this type of bias and arrogance, but yet British reviewers seem to completely overlook that. Let’s call a spade a spade and give credit where it’s rightfully due.
He said both cars are “absolutely brilliant” what more praise do you want? I’m sure there are plenty of American reviewers that prefer the Porsche too, none of which is to say that the Corvette isn’t a great car.
He's saying what he sees and experienced. Roads here in UK are pretty shitty most of the time and if the Porsche deals with them better than the Corvette that's his experience. If it was an American reviewer driving the same cars on American roads the result may have been different. He said both cars were excellent, but the 911 dealt with our roads better...
ATTENTION The euro spec Z06 (with the side exhausts) have a significant power and even sound deficit compared to US spec cars. I would recommend driving a US model as you get an entirely different experience.
First of all that Z06 your driving is inferior to the ones we drive over here lol….Second its obvious you know nothing about Corvettes or Z06’s. As for the steering wheel, it is the best thing about the interior except for the Competition Seats.. Second, The button layout is very intuitive and cockpit like and nothing feels cheap. Hopefully you will get your hands on the one made for the US with the center exhaust and the extra horsepower. Seems like the sound has been compromised too accommodate that corner exit exhaust, sad. :(
Where was the Ford GT when people started talking about the greatest car to come out of America and then there is the ACR Viper... The Z06 is not the greatest American car. Its great value in performance

@@CARmagazineTV I can say that I wished the C8 Z06 coupe with the Z07 package without the carbon fiber wheels had better steering and brake feel, had a fixed roof(reduced weight and aesthetics), seats that hold you in more securely, weigh 1600kg(3520lbs) given it's based on a 70K C8(I would add 10K to the base price for fundamental improvements prior to C8 production), 425kg(937lbs, instead of 734lbs, 1/4 of total weight with additional wieght of driver, etc) of downforce, 60% stiffer suspension instead of 40%, 285/35r19 on 10.5's and 345/30r20 on 13's with 395mm front brake, 5.6L(115mm bore spacing 105mm bore, 80.8mm stroke), 9000rpm limit(GM engineers said a few hundred more rpms) , 700HP(650Nm) and for 180K(130K base price). But to the engines sound: so do you prefer the N/A flat-6 sound to the N/A FPC V8 sound or is it the Euro spec Z06 exhaust, even the US spec exhuast as well, is their a OEM N/A FPC V8 in a OEM car that is at least on equal footing with the OEM 992.1 GT3 RS ? Also if the Z06 with Z07 package had a little more engine feel/expression though the chassis would that make the Z06 with the Z07 package more interesting too ? Is a 4/4.2L flat-6 more rewarding on a public road because a 5.5/5.6L V8 with 636 to 700 HP can't be fully used/expressed on public narrow twisty roads ? The Export Z06 has 636HP or 645PS not 670HP/680PS.
Always disappointed how European reviewers misunderstand the Corvette. The Z-06 is first and foremost a daily driver. It has all the creature comforts of your E Class. If Chevrolet Corvette were to make a track first, road car second, it would be a Z/28. Not even a ZR1 is a track car first.
because if they compare any european sports car for the same price the corvette will obliterate it and we can't have that can we *sarcasm. I've always felt like European auto journalists never give American cars a fair shake. This is the best performance car for the money since the nsx

@robertm.3520 they never care, they just want to give American cars their typical biased bullshit. Z06 should be compared to GT3: they are road cars that can be taken to the tracks on weekends... GT3-RS is a race car that can be driven on the roads, so it's not in the same league, not to mention the huge price for the RS.
I knew what the comments would be before I went to add my own. Most bias Z06 video yet. Not anywhere near a fair comparison due to price but the reviewer was also just generally unfair. I didn't think changing exhausts would have made such a stark degradation to the sound, but that's awful. I was expecting it to not be as good, but not shockingly worse. GM direly need to address this issue for their export cars as with the power being down.
The Zr1 will be a competitor to the Porsche gt3rs and then Corvette is releasing a turbo S competitor with a hybrid system, similar to the holy Trinity of Yore.

You just hate America and wanna get clicks. I think maybe come on over the pond you’d be hard pressed to get a nice welcome with that attitude.

This Z06 doesn't have the actual center exit US exhaust. THAT exhaust sounds like it was meant for the gods. THIS exhaust sounds like it belongs in the garbage. Watch other center exhaust Z06 videos and judge those for sound. Also, if this Z06 was under 500 miles it was probably in break in mode which makes it limited and slow. To me it never sounds like he gets it up past 6k rpm. After 500 miles it has a very linear power curve where as most flat plane crank engines make all their torque up high in the rpm range. He also should have talked about the driving modes. If he didn't have the Z06 in track mode then it also isn't a fair comparison. But still, the GT3 still would beat the Z06 on the track most of the time but it is pretty much only because of the weight difference, slightly stiffer suspension, and more down force. The Z06 would probably only win the 0-60mph race. But he is correct that as a street car the Z06 wins because it has way better ride height, more comfortable and adjustable/adapting magnetic suspension, way more features, a more plush interior, and better seats. It is probably a good idea to swap out those carbon wheels for steel on the street though. It is also hard not justify getting a Z06 because it is at least 50k less depending where you are in the world. If you wanted to spec a GT3 with some of the same features the Z06 has as standard it would add so much more money. Porsche likes to make options cost 3 to 4 times as much as Chevrolet.
Z06/z07 package is 6.0 to 100 with out the z07 package is quicker. The z06 is a 10.30 to 10.50 1/4 at 132 mph. 10.6 to 100 is absolutely not true. That z06 will destroy the aGT3 in a straight line.
The GT3 RS is a pure track car, the Z06 an all-rounder. Nice surrounding to review them both, but impossible to compare. Maybe a "normal" GT3 would have been the better choice in characteristics, not necessarily price-wise. If the focus is on winding country roads, maybe even the GT3 Touring.

For the Price is unbattable, even with Z07 carbon fiber package (common carbon wheels, and all that stuff for that price?!) for me a better comparison is more like between GTR r35 Nismo, but isn't even close
This is a tricky one, as someone who owns a 991.2 GT3 RS, the new 992 GT3 and 992 GT3 RS didn't do it for me - the 991.2 GT3 RS is so good its quicker than the 992 GT3 and only marginally slower round a track than the 992 GT3 RS (so much so it comes down to the driver and type of tires each car is wearing - moreover, Randy Pobst was quicker round Big Willow in a 991.2 GT3 RS than in a 992 GT3 RS - thats how real world close they are). The engine and gear box are all variants of that found in the 991.2 GT3 and to be frank on public roads there isn't much to choose between the 991.2 GT3, 991.2 GT3 RS, 992 GT3, 992 GT3 RS or 718 GT4 RS. On to the Corvette, what GM did here with the C8 06-07 is remarkable, a credit to them for taking the risk and building it - no matter what the critics say its a stupendous car at an amazing price point in the US. Credit where credit is due. Would I take it over my 991.2 GT3 RS, no, but I fully acknowledge its capability and breadth of use. Now heres a thought, you can get more enjoyment out of a 3.4L NA 981 GTS with 340HP (and PTV) on B and C roads than you can with a super car or GT3 RS.
In the USA we might drive more hours per trip so the corvette makes for a more tolerable and enjoyable experience. If you want to increase your adrenaline level in short order it`ll do that too. The Corvette Z06 has a split personality that some people like.
I said this on another comment. These ppl who say it’s priced for the everyday man I’m sure is true..in the USA. In the uk the news is the z06 is coming with RHD to our shores and price tag around £130-£140,000. Both of these race cars are extraordinary! The engineering edge definitely goes to the Porsche, but the cost differential justifies it. When I viewed Harris skillfully drive this, Porsche. I craved to manually shift during his driving exhibition!
Corvette fans will call the Z06 a “supercar killer” until it’s matched with a proper super car. I’d suggest editing the title: “GT3RS vs Z06” Also, let’s stop comparing GM’s sports car to real track focused cars like the RS.

@@adonislimes6156
There is a fallacy in your argument - Corvettes are not the only cars selling over MSRP.
@@adonislimes6156
Also, very few people are cross shopping a Stingray with a Carrera for the same reason I noted in my previous reply.
@@adonislimes6156
Lastly, since the question may come up, I did buy my C8 Stingray at MSRP and, yes, I did have to wait a while.

In what world are these two cars cost comparable? I just went on Autotrader and the GT3 RS is going for over $400 grand, and the ZO6 for less than $200K.
It's literally a Chevy vs a porsche... you don't think the chevy will have a few more flaws and shortcomings 😂
@@coreyegan6751 same could be said about Ferrari and other European brands and all their flaws, crazy thing is that they don’t even bother fixing it or making improvements because of this type of bias and arrogance, but yet British reviewers seem to completely overlook that. No one said that the corvette was perfect but in terms of a sports car that has gotten a complete transformation through quite frankly brilliant engineering in the mist of intense regulations and industry trends, Chevy has done its job on the corvette and delivered with this one here.
The C8Z06 with £90k in the trunk should help make your decision.
ATTENTION
The euro spec Z06 (with the side exhausts) have a significant power and even sound deficit compared to US spec cars. I would recommend driving a US model as you get an entirely different experience.
Meant for the race track but most will babysit in the garage or drive it to tea parties
Only reason the Z06 sounds bad is because it has a euro spec exhaust that ruins the sound. The US one is way louder
First of all that Z06 your driving is inferior to the ones we drive over here lol….Second its obvious you know nothing about Corvettes or Z06’s.
As for the steering wheel, it is the best thing about
the interior except for the Competition Seats..
Another European picking a Porsche thats twice as expensive over American. Lost all credibility when you said the flat six was the best engine of the past decade. Swap brand logos and 99% of people are taking the 5.5 liter V8... Come on now.....
It’s a very good engine in the Corvette, but the Porsche’s flat six is still superior by a solid margin.
@@CARmagazineTV Less horsepower by a lot and sounds like a sewing machine unless you wind it to 9000.... But I get it. All the European guys have to hate American cars because that's the culture event though there's no reason the flat 6 is objectively "better"
It’s all subjective, of course. And Corvette has done a great job with the engine. But for us, and most impartial judges, the Porsche’s engine is superior.
@@CARmagazineTV So slower and less HP and more expensive makes it superior hahaha okay.

Those GPFs sure do suck all the life (and 40 HP) from the Z06. Very sad :(
corvette all day...
In the USA we might drive more hours per trip so the corvette makes for a more tolerable and enjoyable experience. If you want to increase your adrenaline level in short order it`ll do that too. The Corvette Z06 has a split personality that some people like.
DECENTLY PRICED VS STUPIDLY OVERPRICED.
I’m pretty sure Ford bought the Ferrari engine and benchmarked the GT350s Voodoo engine; which is also a flat plane crank
I said this on another comment. These ppl who say it’s priced for the everyday man I’m sure is true..in the USA. In the uk the news is the z06 is coming with RHD to our shores and price tag around £130-£140,000. What the yanks need to understand is we can get a Ferrari 458..or 488GTB or a Lamborghini aventador lp700. A Porsche gt3 991. For £150,000 you can get a 992 turbo s. Just take a look on uk autotrader. Not to mention over here a mclaren 720s are going for as low as £130k! I do like the corvette thou. Looks awesome I’m a fan hands down well done Chevy 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Both of these race cars are extraordinary! The engineering edge definitely goes to the Porsche, but the cost differential justifies it. When I viewed Harris skillfully drive this, Porsche. I craved to manually shift during his driving exhibition!
He just drove a C8Z51 for the first time and loved it, said its handling was on a par with Porsche.
Z ist besser!
LT 6 in a Camaro would be America's 250 GTO.
❤ Toyota Corolla GR❤
Corvette fans will call the Z06 a “supercar killer” until it’s matched with a proper super car.
I’d suggest editing the title: “GT3RS vs Z06”
Also, let’s stop comparing GM’s sports car to real track focused cars like the RS.
So the normal GT3 is a fraud?
@@iluvcakes19 is this ALL you gathered from my comment? It is not a fraud, though it’s not as mighty and capable as the RS. Both GT cars, when not driven to 10/10 or fully tracked, aren’t really that quick on the street. The Z06 (Z07 package) should be able to overtake the GT3.
@@kinosgarage that's the level the Z06 competes at (GT3). It's not even billed as a full on, out and out, sports cars like the RS is. It's a high level, highly trackable GT car-- and yes, it's a supercar.
@@kinosgarage Z06 will get it on the straights and maybe lower speed corners, on exit too with the weight balance.
@@N4CR I take it you've owned and driven both cars?
6:33 who on earth thought that camera sequence through? looks awful
Porsche = Perfection
What kind of Z06 has exhaust pipes on each side and not on the center
(UGH CAPS IM NOT FIXING)
YOU SAY THE ENGINE DOESNT SOUND GOOD BUT DONT MENTION THAT THE eURO SPEC HAS OUTBOARD QUAD EXHAUST THATS NOT ANYWHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS THE us SPEC QUAD CENTER EXHAUST.
