@@johnmachter40from what I've read he sustained some injuries that prevent him from doing traditional weight lifts. That's why most of his exercises are quite unconventional and with limited range of motion

Greek American here, I’m having a bit of a hard time understanding lord grizzly but I have no issues understanding Rocco. Is he mumbling or does he have an accent I just can’t figure out. It almost sounds like he’s rolling his words into each other. When he screams however, that I understand completely.
I dont even speak greek even i can tell that yea... his accent is much more regional and relaxed, he rolls his words together.. you can hear the difference. I speak english and spanish and was able to pick up a big difference between their greek @thomasm442
@@thomasm442 His Dialect is regional, plus he speaks more like a Greek farmer, Rocco speaks the official way the Greeks speak, Kyriakos speak more like the villagers do.
@@thomasm442 hmmm i guess it would be the equivalent if someone going to some village in England with a bit of an accent enough that it makes it hard for one to understand them like they would the classic American accent. Rocco speaks very proper greek without many idioms or slang perhaps its also that which is bothering you.
I understand everything, he doesn't speak clearly, but you can understand it.

they should invite him to a world strongest man event, let him do one exercise of his choice, just for fun, for the fans and for the sport.
I think he attended the arnold or some popular event like that and had an area set up to meet fans that was really cool. i forget who it was but they had the idea to set up the 2 man zerker shrug thing. might have actually been juji's idea. i think he ended up doing that with other fans as well. it was pretty epic. I think something more along the lines of this would be more appropriate. I don't think he trains any strongman events, so it would be not only dangerous for injuries but probably underwhelming to outsiders that aren't already fans. If they set up an exhibition for him to come on stage and perform, something of his choice, that would be awesome. i dont think he's as full as he once was and would probably risk his health trying to do something massive or something like his other legendary clips in the past. no doubt he would do much better than any regular person, but the contrast between an active strongman in full training would be too jarring for the average viewer in my opinion.
@@humanbean3 yes, offcourse, an ehxibition of his choice, not actually competing in world strongest man, he is allmost 50, just for fun, for the fans and for promoting the sport. and for him, to get the recognision he deserve. he was olympic weight lifter, he is the real deal. and nice guy.

its absolutely insane when you notice he actually uses his back to pull it and not just his weight
I don't really "look up" to youtubers/influencers or whatever you want to call them, but Kyrikos Grizzly is definitely someone that inspires me and someone I could see myself looking up to more than almost anyone else. He shows us that there's much more to strength and working out than most people thought. You can really focus on things you like and are good at, and even if you have injuries you can be FULL.
It was very kind of him to give the classic lord's scream to the camera as well.
Oh and Jujimufu's hair looks so much better like this. I'm really surprised how much better someone can look just from a haircut.

I guess that as funny as Grizzly's videos may be with his screaming, we can now see the real reason as of why with all the weight this guy can push/pull on such a non sliding surface. This guy is probably the strongest guy in the world in this kind of movement. If Martin, a former world's strongest man struggled doing half that weight and having a very strong agile guy like John(Juji) struggling, you know this shit is real!
I think I finally understood his training methods. Unironically pretty cool.

The sled was loaded on Juji's end and Juji didn't have the straps on his upper arms. Not taking ANYTHING away from our BLOATLORD, but Juji did have a more difficult setup.
