I’ve just bought the 525 Sporter, but I would still happily own this 👍🏻

Better Video actually on the Browning 525SL ! I bought this weapon. Very (very...) happy. I use it all the time now. For Ball trap and for all Hunt ! And... It’s good to have always the same rifle !!! No adjustments, every time the same pleasure, ready to use ... better quality of shoot !!!

I'm not a lover of Brownings, (although I do own a BPS) but to their credit, they're not traditionalist snobs, they took to market the Cynergy, now this laminated B525.... I like it, it looks good, and by all accounts it shoots well also. Well done Browning
A good review on TGS (The Gun Shop Channel) also.

"If you want something that shoots like a Browning.."
It is a Browning, so it will clearly shoot like a Browning...

Love mine I'm only a Newby but iv shot a standard 525 and the 525sl is a lot better to shoot bit heavier but I like that yes its a bit controversial but it always draws attention to it because it looks so modern traditionalists prob hate it but me I love it at 2000 great value try one

Is the Wood Stock and Forearm more of a plastic and wood Combination to give you the laminated look!

A little more weight in the laminate than the normal walnut perhaps?

I kinda like this gun the wood looks like it's ready for a beating fancy wood is for bragging rights I'd buy this for my 2nd gun but not my truck gun it's lovely for sure.

Hello is this gun still performing well I do like the look of it, quick question as its something I have read and heard while out shooting is that backboard barrels don't like fibre wad cartridges is this an old wives tail or is there something in it. Hopefully you will reply. Thanks stay safe

Does the 525 SL and the 525 Gl have the same barrel.. Cause on the browning website it shows the game laminate can be use for shooting deer and such, but the other doesn't..
Does that mean one could shoot buckshot and the other can't?

Do you feel that after a few years you would need to move up or is this as good as say Xs pro or beretta 694
But a lot less stress on the picket. I’ve shot one and loved it ( thanks for the test by the way)

I hate the laminated , but love the 525 , proud owner of one sporter .
    And a 325 sporter, with 2 set of barrels , and a 425 trap .

great clay sporter BUT at 8 1(4 lbs in a 30 barrel . NOT a rough or game shots carry gun ! pity don t make it in like mk 60 miroku lighter weight . then it wud be a kin to a sako laminate and steel stalking rifle good weather beater . ideal !

Ughhh hideous. Aesthetically horrible feel. Look ugly for the shotgun sport. I'd want it to be a lot cheaper than a wood equivalent. Fine for a semi auto US market type gun but not for me on the UK scene. Be interested to see how the laminate holds up long term. Wonder how we'll laminate can hold a recast,.it is plywood effectively after all.
