Easy DIY padsicles for postpartum recovery

  • If you are in your 3rd trimester, you are likely starting to think of everything you will need after you give birth to your little one.
    Healing pads may be a great way to help with your comfort levels after you give birth as aloe vera can relieve inflammation and soothe pain, and witch hazel can help reduce swelling. Plus, they're frozen so that's an added bonus.
    So, here is what your going to need:
    1. Extra large, super absorbent pads, or maternity pads
    2. Unscented 100% pure aloe vera gel
    3. Alcohol free Witch Hazel
    4. 1 tsp measure
    5. Spoon
    6. Plastic bags/storage bags
    (P.S My sister just gave birth to her first baby, so I made her these padsicles and she absolutely loved them)

    My partner says it’s too cold, am I supposed to take it out of the freezer and thaw first?
