Where is Christian Bale as Dick Cheney? And Bale even gained weight for that role, he didn't wear the fat costume, while Gary Oldman as Churchill did wear the fat costume. Bale should have been number 1 or 2 here, he looked just like Cheney!
I really think this video was missing actors like: Kathy Bates as Margaret Brown and some of the Titanic actors; Charlize Theron as Aileen Wuornos in Monster; Sienna Miller as Eddie Sedgwick in Factory Girl; Gary Oldman as Sid Vicious in Sid and Nancy (and frankly he is so chameleonic he could also be in other roles in the list like Lee Harvey Oswald or Pres. Harry S. Truman); Gwilym Lee as Brian May, Joseph Mazzelo as John Deacon, Aiden Gillen as John Reid, Dermot Murphy as Bob Geldoff from Bohemian Rhapsody; Paul Dano & John Cusak as Brian Wilson in Love & Mercy; Oliver Cooper as David Berkowitz; Corey Allen as William Henry Hance, Morgan Kelly as Paul Bateson, Jack Erdie as Richard Speck, Sonny Valicenti as Dennis Rader, Cameron Britton as Ed Kemper, from Mindhunter; Ron Livingston as Lewis Nixon, Matt Settle as Ronald C. Speirs, Michael Cudlitz as Denver Randleman, Bart Russpoli as Ed Tipper, Ross McCall as Joseph D. Liebgott, Mark Huber as Lester Hashey, Damian Lewis as Dick Winters from Band of Brothers; Joseph Mazzelo as Eugene Sledge, Ashton Holmes as Sidney Phillips, Martin McCann as Romus Valton, in The Pacific; George C. Scott as George S. Patton in Patton; and somewhat the cast of Apollo 13. I really dont think Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe, Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela, Austin Butler as Elvis Presley, Salma Hayek as Frida Kahlo nor Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Hitchcok really fit the description of "actors who look exactly like the historical figures" they may have a similar look and be extremely great actors who played a magnificent part in their role and embodied the character but they didn't look convincing enough to distract you from the fact these are other people and who don't belong to this list in my opinion.
mark, yes, he was good in that film. for those going through the comments, I've got good news. God is good because He gives His blessings to everyone, whether they be good or bad. but everyone has at least, told a lie, or stolen something in their life. and that makes them sinners, and God will not allow sinners in heaven; in His presence, because He is holy. so, God has to punish the sinners in hell, because God is severe and just. but God is also love and He made a way for some to be saved from His wrath. here are the steps: 1. admit that you're a sinner and are lost. 2. realize that the penalty of sin is death (hell). 3. believe that Jesus (who is God) died on the cross, was buried, then rose from the grave, to pay the penalty for man's past, present, and future sins. 4. trust Christ alone as your Savior, and not on your own good deeds to get you to heaven (nor a combination of your faith and self-righteous works). 5. pray to God NOW that you're accepting Christ's free gift of salvation because if you die before making this decision, it's too late, and you'll 🔥🥵😈 6. and to be a disciple, tell people about Jesus, read the bible, go to church regularly to know God's will for your life.

While George C Scott may have resembled General Patton physically, he lacked the voice. I’ve seen newsreels that have shown excerpts of some of Patton speeches. As much as I liked the movie, it would be even better if George C Scott could have replicated the generals voice.
Catherine Hicks played Marilyn incredibly accurately because she didn’t try to be a clone. She acted rather than mimicked the look. I think she’s the best Marilyn I’ve seen so far, way more than Ana and others.
@@LaurenKaminski I know. But she ACTS like her and that’s better. There’s only one Marilyn, those that try to look just like her fail to capture her personality.
Here's your list for part two: Eddie Redmayne as Stephen Hawking Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury Tom Hardy as Charles Bronson Michael Sheen as Tony Blair Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs Rhys Ifans as Rasputin Christopher Wallace Junior as his dad O'Shea Jackson Junior as his dad The guy who played Eminem in 8 Mile
She was amazing in that movie, but other than that, it was still disrespectful. Because of that, I'm worried that Amy Winehouse will get the same treatment with Back to Black.
Think of it like a horror adaptation, and although some will always consider film content they don't like "problematic," the narrative makes sense. The film was faithful to the best selling and award-winner novel (yes, novel) by Joyce Carol Oates, and UA-cam film analysts such as Mark Kermode saw it as such. Other films about MM have been much more fawning, others likely more accurate. However, Blonde, the film, did receive scores of 80 and up from Variety, New York Magazine and The Telegraph - thus making it more divisive than universally seen as "problematic." Some of us liked it and others did not. That said, I agree with de Armas' performance as quite good.
Biopics embellish the truth from time to time because it's a movie, not a documentary. Having said that, many people(myself and Trina Q included) took issue with the movie because Marilyn was constantly being abused both physically and sexually and they add nothing to her story other than shock value. I know Marilyn dealt with abuse in her life, but she was more than her trauma.
I would add Kenneth Branagh as Boris Johnson in the miniseries, "This England." I honestly would have thought they actually hired BoJo himself. Branagh totally disappears into the role.
I'd rather say Austin Butler looked like a younger Elvis but not Elvis himself. Same with AlphaCat, he doesn't look like Barack Obama as much as Devon Terrell who looks way more like Barack Obama. But at least all these actors are believable.
You missed quite a few other people too: Bill Nighy as Friedrich Olbricht in "Valkyrie" Christian Berkel as Mertz Von Quirnheim in "Valkyrie" Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison in "The Doors" Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett in "The Runaways" Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury in "Bohemian Rhapsody"

Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison from the Doors is 100% the best one. He even had the same mole in the same spot on his face. Sang every song in the movie too.
slightly questionable limiting yourself almost entirely to people represented in photos or film, apart from Elizabeth I; questionable acceptance of actresses who are too pretty and substantial make-up jobs on Hopkins and Oldman (Kingsley also needed attention because he wasn't naturally a dark enough brown)
So many legends! Gary Oldman should be higher. Possibly contestant for no 1. Simply amazing! In all clips you showed. Comissioner Gordon.Meryl is perfect as Thatcher! Ana de Armas is Marilyn. Morgan Freeman perfect as Mandela.Daniel Day Lewis perfect as Abraham Lincoln. Excellent video!
There are 3 more that I feel should have been either on this list or at least noted as honorable mentions: Ed Harris as Gene Kranz (Apollo 13), Kathleen Quinlan (Apollo 13), and Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody).
German here One great example is also Tom Cruise, as Col. Claus Schenk Maria Graf von Stauffenberg in "Valkyrie" (Here in Germany, the full movie name is "Operation Walküre - Das Stauffenberg-Attentat"; so Operation Valkyrie - The Stauffenberg Plot) In fact, Cruise was chosen because of his close physical resemblance to Stauffenberg
I think James D'Arcy as Anthony Perkins in "Hitchcock" is uncanny and Steve Railsback's portrayal of Charles Manson in "Helter Skelter" is becoming harder to tell apart from the real thing as time passes by.
What? No, not at all. He didn't even look close to Freddie; Gwilym Lee as Brian May, Joseph Mazzelo as John Deacon, Aiden Gillen as John Reid and Dermot Murphy as Bob Geldoff are lightyears ahead of Rami Malek in acting and appearance resembling the people they're playing. Rami Malek may be a great actor, but he didn't deserve the Oscar he got for the role and wasn't ever near enough resembling nor acting convincingly as Mercury.
Marion Cotillard was INCREDIBLE as Editgh Piaf, as was Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep and Ana De Armas knocked her portrayal out of the park! and Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles. Austin Butlrt is a poor representation of Elvis.
Ana de armas looked absolutely nothing like Marilyn Monroe. Their facial structure is different, different color eyes, different nose and of course theres Ana's accent even when hidden leaks through. I love Ana shes awesome but that was a miscast. Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly should have been on this list.

I really dont think Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe, Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela, Austin Butler as Elvis Presley, Salma Hayek as Frida Kahlo nor Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Hitchcok really fit the description of "actors who look exactly like the historical figures" they may be extremely great actors who played a magnificent part in their role and embodied the character but they didn't look convincing enough to distract you from the fact these are other people and who don't belong to this list in my opinion.
Except Marilyn Monroe wasn't Cuban.
There are 3 more that I feel should have been either on this list or at least noted as honorable mentions: Ed Harris as Gene Kranz (Apollo 13), Kathleen Quinlan (Apollo 13), and Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody).
German here
One great example is also Tom Cruise, as Col. Claus Schenk Maria Graf von Stauffenberg in "Valkyrie"
(Here in Germany, the full movie name is "Operation Walküre - Das Stauffenberg-Attentat"; so Operation Valkyrie - The Stauffenberg Plot)
In fact, Cruise was chosen because of his close physical resemblance to Stauffenberg
Thomas Jane and Mickey Mantle.
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! Wow, I've got to watch Blonde (2022).. 😍
How did Cillian Murphy not make the cut.
I saw pictures of Robert Oppenheimer, and must I say, they look like lost brothers
Click bait, they don't all look EXACTLY the same
No rami malek 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
😂
Philip Seymour Hoffman as Truman Capote
Daniel Brühl as Niki Lauda (Rush)
Ron Livingston as Lewis Nixon (Band of Brothers)
Nicolas Cage did a very good impression of Elvis in Honeymoon in Vegas.
Exactly and similar are two different things ✌🏻
Chadwick Boseman as James brown?
On one of the few times I agree with your pics. Even the order in which they come
Love the background music
I think James D'Arcy as Anthony Perkins in "Hitchcock" is uncanny and Steve Railsback's portrayal of Charles Manson in "Helter Skelter" is becoming harder to tell apart from the real thing as time passes by.
I expected Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford
TOP 10 Ugliest Robots
Denzel Washington was too dark to be Malcom X who was light skinned with Red Hair and Freckles
nice list
To be honest: I prefer Gillian Anderson and her performance as the Iron Lady in "The Crown" series. She was magnificent!

No honorable mention for Rami Malek for Freddie?
He doesn’t look like him one bit!

I miss Willem Dafoe as Van Gogh.
As soon as I saw this list, I knew Daniel Day-Lewis' Lincoln would be no. 1
Denzel Washington as Malcom X is my favorite Denzel movie it stayed true to Malcom
Where the hell is Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle
Marisa from Back to Black (Amy Winehouse) should be on here too.
Bon Marley in one love too.
I like Jennifer Lopez did a good job portraying Selena.
Bruno Ganz as Adolf Hitler in "Downfall" comes to mind.
Ana de Armas looked NOTHING like Marilyn Monroe, ridiculous. The second I saw the thumbnail, I had to click on it to hear the reasoning.
Didn’t mention remi malek, Tupac, biggie smalls, this list could’ve been double the size
She’s does NOT look like ms Marilyn Monroe , she’s a beautiful lady tho ❤😂
I agree!
