When it comes to tyres, pay the extra and get the best. With a performance car like this, the only thing keeping you on the road is the tyres. Please, dont cheap out on tyres.
Very much agree. From all the shops I’ve spoken to though they’ve said that the kumho are very competitive. I could just get the tires Toyota put on it from factory (Dunlops) but I’m paying a bit extra for kumhos. I can’t quite justify the pilot sports as they’re more than double the price!
@motoringfan pilot sports are a tested and proven tyre. They're a trusted tyre used by most high-end performance cars. It's worth the money, even if it's 1% better. That could be the difference between you on the road or in the dirt.
@@motoringfan I do not have this exact car. But, my trusted mechanic also likes to change all 4 tires at most times. Car will be drive better, more enjoyable, and most importantly - more safely.

"My Yaris has worn tyres" - perhaps would be a better title.
I’ll do that next time I do a tires video!
get all 4 tyres, this car's AWD just like Audi's Haldex, doesn't like different tyres. You will burn the differential and the AWD system itself
Fair comment I’ll discuss this with the shop
