Damn I been finding your channel after 6 years , couldn’t remember what your channel but I recalled you had i7 3930k and search and finally found you.
That's a great setup rig, you got there. I'm digging that all white RGB corsair theme build.
What an amazing walk through and thorough explanation of all components!
such a great video, thank you for walking me step by step!!! pc turned on first try thabks again sm great in depth review
Many thanks from Izmir/Turkey. It's the best video I've seen on the internet. Super explained
are you sure there was enough thermal paste preapplied to cover the entire ihs? just wondering because the 12th gen cpus are a little larger and the aio requires custom brackets for the new socket so i dont think they accounted for the size with the preapplied paste. double check the thermals of all cores because some manufacturers even recommend cleaning off and applying new thermal paste
i think you need 2 separate PCIE cable from the PSU to power a 3070 ti (290w TDP). PCI-Express from the motherboard can deliver up to 75 watts, and PCI cables deliver up to 150 watts per cable. If you use daisy chain PCI cable, the GPU might try to pull 300 watts over a single cable and that can melt a poorly made PCI cable.
Both pcie cables in the box are this daisy chained cable , Corsair would not include this cable if it wasn’t able to power a graphics card correctly
@@lukeburchill5143 Have you check how much power your gpu use at 100% usage? If it is around max TDP then you are good. If not, then use 2 cables from psu to gpu.
@@lukeburchill5143 no he’s right. 3070Ti needs 2 separate pcie cables otherwise you will melt the cable cause it will draw far above maximum load for single.
@@vknight7497 this isn’t true lol , I’ve used a 3070ti for months with that single daisy chained cord it was fine , the same amount of watts you’d pull with two pcie cables. I eventually switched to two cause I thought I was missing out on something but think again , the same exact watts , same performance. Use the daisy chained cable man you’ll never know. Call Corsair if you want they’ll tell you that one cord is fine . It came with the PSU so the cords are safe . You really think they’d ship out a cord that had two 6+2 pins just to tell you to leave one hanging ? Nah.
Just seeing this and I have same board and GPU. Have you water cooled yours yet? I might watercool mine soon. Also they sell extension cable now for the 12 pin to dunks 8 pin connectors.
My build is just like yours. The difference:
MSI RTX3090Ti
MSI Z690 Carbon Wifi
Corsair HX1200 PSU
Corsair DDR5 64GB (32gb x2)
Thank you for your video. This exactly what I need to figure out the H150i with the LGA1700. 👍
can the mobo read gpu temps too or only cpu?
Thank you very much just finished building my pc and ur video was very helpful
is there a way to buy that adapter online from somewhere? im planning on getting a build somewhat close to this and i just figured out that your gonna have to buy a separate adapter for it to work for that mobo
Do i need the corsair hub for 1 aio 3 fans rgb, + 6 mores fans or can i mount them all behind the case ?
Great video so far! Just had to speed it up to 2x haha. But over all great!
What's the maximum temperature for 12900K using this 420 AIO?
Very nice! I bet you can find white adaptors for the ANNOYING Y cord to the GPU and for SATA wires. I don't know why they did not try to improve that. I think your F.E. is about the best-looking GPU of all of them. I just scored a 3080FTW at MSRP from EVGA. It was about a 4-month wait. Before that, I scored a 3080XOC after about a ONE-YEAR wait. I do think this bottleneck in sales is almost over. Micro Center is now selling them back at MSRP. (Not to go on, LOL) Linus Tech Tips did an hour and forty Min. video covering every conceivable thing for building a modern computer. Thank you!
Hello, the sound is good ? No need sound card ?
hi I was wondering , there is CPU fan and pump fan headers , which one should I put the pump , it's pump fan right ?
In the beginning you mention that the kf would not have an overclocking feature. Is that not incorrect? The k means that the chip supports overclocking and the f means no integrated graphics.
Hey, what do we do with the 3 mobo standoffs, Im not sure how to apply them…
Amazing! Thank you!
Great video nice build 👍
I watched so many Pro PC Builder videos but your video made me understand more easily and also this is my favourite case so I'm going to build exactly the same exapt the graphic card and the power supply power supply
I’m almost done with about the exact same built just need the Ram to get here and then the last thing I will need is the gpu. Wasn’t sure what channels to put the ram in when it got here. Thanks!
What screw driver set did you use
I have the same mobo and Corsair fan the 120 but I can't for the life of me find a way to change the LEDs. How did you figure that one out? The mobo isn't supported through icue.
can i use it with arctic 360? corsair 5000d ?
I am having an issue finding the connection on the motherboard for the cpu fan connector (3 holes). I think we have the same cpu cooler and motherboard.
Literally saved me like 2 hours
Does anyone know if I can set up my pc without a gpu and just add it later?
I have the same case. no Manual. what does the arrow on the power and rest sw represent, there's no +/-? my motherboard manual only shows a # and GND for the pins in the diagram, no +/-
How you do to light the word "FORCE" my dosent light up, it have leds on the back but I don't know why dosent look like yours...
What does the 28 on the motherboard mean
Question. Does your AIO come with the 1700 adapter and the bracket straight out of the box when you bought it?
No. The adapter was $5 from Microcenter.
In case anyone sees this in 2023, the Corsair H150i has started coming with the 1700 gear. Just got one from Best Buy yesterday. It says it on the box now too.
Hello Friend, I follow your video and everything went fine.. I have the same computer.. Now I would like to turn off that temperature motherboard display.. But now i dont remember witch cable it is lol.. Help me
nice video brother
hi i have question can use 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD in this motherboard.thank you?
Yes you can.
Why did you plug all the cables into that hub? Is it needed? None of my components came with one of those hubs, I thought you could just plug everything into the power supply cables…
You have to remove the whole motherboard to install SATA SSD's in the back? No way... those look like simple thumb screws holding the SATA SSD mounting bracket thing
Do you really need to remove the factory sticker on the M.2 ssd before installing the mobo heatsink?
No
edge vs force ?
good vid
I have similar build 7000x case tho.
WOW, do you go Monster Hunting with Milla Jovovich with that knife. You're just opening a piece of cardboard not going to Skull Island.
good video bro
Thanks!
Don’t peel off the plastic on a m.2 SSD. I still like the video.
bro why didnt u install the ram before putting the mobo in the case
He's not that experienced in building pc's. He did not even place the RAM into the #4 slot which is farthest away from the CPU. Always start with that slot first.
You can overclock a kf
A kf doesn't have intel graphics
@@Smalz4 thanks, I'll add an annotation.
Your cable management isn't very good
360p? cmon
HD and UHD taking forever to process.
@@VeryTraumatic lame old youtube huh
@@VeryTraumatic btw build is nice, hope to see you play EFT sometime
I never liekd this case, front looks cheapass for $160..
3070 ti is a bottleneck for your build
No it’s not if he’s playing at 1440p.
@@theyoungjawn 3440x1440
What a stupid knife.
"Re-putable"?
come on bro let the dude enjoy himself looks dope
