when my pc doesnt have anything displaying what else can i do? how to reset the bios on this board?
For BIOS reset methods, the reset jumper can be grounded to initialize. Try grounding the BIOS reset jumper with power applied. (Refer to the manual for information.) Alternatively, with all power off, remove the battery from the motherboard, wait 5-10 minutes, then reinstall and boot.

How is your experience been so far with this setup ? I actually plan to get a pretty similar one for gaming and video editing.
I purchased it for video editing and gaming purposes, and provided enough performance. I think it is a composition that is sufficiently satisfactory to the conditions you said.

@@angelleal3005 I bought it at an internet shopping mall in Korea because I live in Korea. Motherboards and CPUs are global products, so they can probably be purchased from Amazon or New Egg.
I recently bought a brand new z690 edge ddr4 motherboard and the wifi is not working. I’ve pretty much done/tried everything that I can think of. I even downloaded drivers from the msi website but that didn’t work. It’s saying that my Ethernet is not plugged in however I don’t have a Ethernet cord so ofc it’s not plugged in, this was supposed to be a *wireless* wifi board. The only things that come up is Bluetooth wifi and something about a Ethernet wifi connection that’s not even on. Is there a way for me to show available network connections near me that I can join (like my own wifi).
Wifi on other devices like cellphones and apple products work normally just this desktop not working.
If you can connect to your smartphone by cable, use your smartphone's data tethering function to temporarily connect to the Internet and install the WIFI driver through Windows Update. If that doesn't work, we need A/S from the vendor or manufacturer.

How are you liking the motherboard
I didn't have any complaints personally, but I was more satisfied with the Z690 TOMAHAWK model for the cost.

How do I know what cords go where?
I have the exact same mobo, how do you get the dragon to light up?
The light is up on the dragon without any special setting. If the led light does not go up, check the stealth mode switch on the board. This is because the motherboard can turn off all LEDs with a physical switch.

i got the same motherboard and for the last 2 months ive been trying to get it to connect to the internet. it doesnt recognize my wifi adapter or my ethernet cord. i keep trying to update the driver but it isnt working right

Can this mother board handle 2 video cards ? I have 3090 ti and I want to add the 40 series when it comes out
I don't know because I've never installed more than two VGA's

It depends on the purpose of use, so it's hard to answer what's better. Each one has its pros and cons.
@@DalraeMyo I learned ppl use a smaller one to run windows only on. So I think I'll get a smaller gig for that reason
I think it is the most common configuration for M.2 SSD configurations that use drive for OS and drive for data storage separately.@@I_amTurok

For unused slots, I think it's better not to remove the plastic (to prevent the thermal pads from drying out)@@I_amTurok
What where those wires for in the box
It is the VRM cover made from plastic? The part where the dragon is.
The VRM cover is all metal.

Just got this board and saw it has 16 pins for the cpu. Required or optional? Do I need to get another 8 pin for the cpu power 2 connector?
It can work if only one of the two connectors is connected, but the manufacturer recommends connecting both.

Z690 carbon would be no better than edge?
The Z690 Carbon model has a slightly higher VRM specification, but it's not to the point where you can feel it.
Carbon VRM(CPU) : 1350A - 18 Phase(75A)
Edge VRM(CPU) : 1200A - 16 Phase(75A)
@@DalraeMyo carbon is 8 layer and edge is 6 layer, wouldn't carbon in terms of overclocking RAM be better for my 13600k?
@@eba111y I don't know if it's extreme overclocking, but I don't think there's a significant difference in the general environment using a water cooler.

nice build but i saw a audio issue on this bord. alc 4080 audio driver need. whis is great sound output but when I connect microphone its a very annoying noise ...low volume vocals are record .

I recommend using the microphone volume amplification function or using a USB type microphone.

@@raselahammed1687 In the case of the 3.5 mm terminal, there is no separate power supply, so the problem is that the power is insufficient. This is a common case, and usually uses equipment such as the above-mentioned method or audio interface to solve this problem.
@@raselahammed1687 I had a similar experience and had no knowledge of audio-related equipment, so I bought a new USB type microphone and solved the problem.
How come u put both m.2 ssd at the bottom slots? (There's a middle slot not used). Is there somethin relating to the pci-e bandwidth?
It was mounted on the bottom to avoid the hot air discharged from the graphic card.

How are the default settings?
I saw someone's Tomahawk review say that it ran too hot so they had to change some settings in the BIOs
In my case, there was no problem with VRM temperature and CPU temperature when I used it with 12700K.

To use the 13th generation CPU on a motherboard using the Z690 chipset, you must update to the 13th generation CPU-enabled bios.
Do u know which one it is? I did version 7D32vH9 the newest one and still won't boot up man this is driving me mad... Ive been looking on Google that's how I found u lol

For M.2 slots, slots 1, 2 and 3 support 4.0 Gen.

You can operate with just one cable connected. However, if you use a high-grade CPU and have an overclocking in mind, the manufacturer recommends connecting two.

@@frostbyte5858 If the power button is pressed and no response is received, check the power switch behind the power supply. (It should be in the I/O shape and pressed toward the I shape.)
If this does not work, reconfirm the connection connector on the cable connected to the casing power button.

You are a God send! Exact MB and case I want to build in but couldn't get any info on if I'd have clearance issues. Did you have ANY issues with the rad and fans clearing the I/O cover or heatsinks?
I'll be using the NZXT 240 rad with be quiet light wing fans. Very close in size compared to yours.
@@LonestarROB The radiator I used in the build is 38mm thick and thicker than the average 240 radiator, and the cooling fan is also 30mm thick and thicker than the average cooling fan.
But there was no interference in the heat sink of the M/B.
The 240mm radiator of NZXT has a thickness of 30mm, and the thickness of bequiet LIGHT WINGS is 25mm, so there is no problem.

You need a bigger case that gpu being that close to your front fans will cause more heating

I updated the bios version to the latest version right after PC build and used it. When I checked the temperature with the Hwinfo64 program, it was not a problem. BIOS used the default settings.

In the case of the Korean market, the price difference between the two motherboards was 20 dollars. I think both motherboards are great. For edge models, the VRM configuration is better. However, both motherboards are sufficient to combine with 12900k. If you prefer LED lights on the motherboard, I recommend edge and if not, I recommend tomahawk.
Additionally, the edge model has a slightly better ram o.c potential. But it's not a big difference.

For the M.2 Gen4 slot, the lower version of Gen3 is also compatible.
It says that M.2 gen5 is not supported on SpecDB.
