For anyone wondering, if you need to replace the bulbs for the buttons in the HVAC controls (NOT THE DIALS), the OEM part number for those bulbs specifically is 79505-SNA-A01. Took me awhile to find out what the OEM part number was.

What I learned...is that although I am very handy...after seeing the number of steps in this video...I will just leave those three little light bulbs dead...I have memorized them anyway. Clear video and instructions. Thank you!

I think I’ll just live with half the lights being out. However, I will attempt to change the shifter bulb on my 2009 Honda Civic. 😀That seems much easier for me. Thank you anyway.

for the LCD light and the stereo lights on the amp there is some resistors the solder pops off .I had to resolder them to the board and I got my lights back there
Hey I have an issue where just three of the buttons are not lighting up and my check engine light came on do you think this is a fuze, and do you think the CEL is connected to some of the bulbs not turning on?
Great video. Question: did you remove the negative terminal from the car battery before unplugging stuff? I’ve been doing that but I’m curious if it actually makes a difference here

Hey Danny,, I subscribe and I gave you a thumbs up got a 2008 Honda Civic the radio display will not go on so I can’t know what station I’m on and then after the car warms up a little bit it’ll turn on don’t know what the problem is and my push buttonson the radio will not work when I turn on the lights can you help me? Thank you Danny, I seen you take everything apart, but I don’t know if you have a video for the radio thanks.

Hi Dani, when I remove the radio I see tath it has an airbag connector, a hazard switch and at the top it only has three connectors and I see 4 inputs, it is normal, it is a 2008 civic coupe ex
My buttons on my radio are not lighting up when I turn on my lights is that one bulb that illuminates all the buttons or is it a bunch of them and do I get in the same way if you can please help thanks

I actually replaced all the lights on the radio and HVAC with LEDs (soldered, not the twist ones). There's a big thread on 8thcivic.

They could also be all bad

It makes it easier to reinstall if you remove that cover @5:25 I’m all about making things easier 👍🏼

The top panel does not light up for me anymore (buttons 1-6) How would I fix that?
