Thanks, this helped me replace the one climate bulb that was out. Unfortunately, popping the panel back together must have knocked out two other bulbs...so now to buy more bulbs and do it all again... A mirror helps getting those two bolts out from under the audio system.
Well, it was one bulb that lit two buttons, but after replacing that one, reinstalling the dash took out yet another bulb! I wondered whether this would ever end but that was finally the last of it. I swear I'm being as gentle as possible putting things back in.

It should fit right in. The only difference is that the A/C bulbs are longer. So it might not look as bright as the other bulbs since it's gonna be shorter.

I just replaced mine today. If your car is 2007-2009, the bulb is 35156-SNA-A01 (14v, 60MA). If your car is 2010-2011, the bulb is different (14v, 80MA).

Unfortunately those can't be replaced like the ones here. If those don't light up, it means something inside the head unit of the factory stereo burned out. Something like a capacitor. To fix that, you could either replace faulty capacitor that gives power to those bulbs which involves disassembly of the head unit and its circuit board and soldering. Or You could get another head unit on Ebay, Junkyard or such. You just need to make sure its compatible via Part# For example: 39100-svb-a11 on the back of you stereo. Or by the model of your car The problem is the head unit not the bulbs.

Don't quote me on this but, I believe the only reason they are longer, is because the knobs are further away than the other buttons. But since they are all the same circumference & both T4.2... You could probably do an aftermarket modification with no problem, if you wish to do so.
@@n11fk-series4 I bought 10 generic halogen t4.2 for the buttons, they look like OEM but idk where I can get the longer ones, t3 and t4.2 are cross listed on most listings and OEM is way to expensive for a damn bulb. Hopefully the 4.2 does the trick

@@n11fk-series4 i could have gotten LED but then the light would be "ice blue" because the buttons have a blue tint film from the factory which works in conjunction with the white/yellowish halogen bulb to make the original white light. The only way to retain the original white color is to either run the oem style halogens or led but remove the blue film.

The AC buttons work ok. The Stereo buttons dont illuimante at night but work fine when you press them. As you say, I cant see them at night
I stripped the bolt on the first twist of my phillips head and I was going slow, also tried using a wrench on the top part and that isn't working either :/

My problema is that the AC control lights wont turn on at night mode
I mean, the light that indicates is working is ok. But the buttoms at night mode wont illuminate

Ok so, you just need to replace that one bulb,
If both your MAX A/C and A/C buttons don't illuminate. One bulb illuminates both buttons.
Now..
If the buttons above the Climate Control unit, like the Aux/ CD/FM buttons are not lighting up, thats a problem inside the head unit.
I swear on my life this first 8mm bolt is just welded in there
