Hey guys, I'm still in Louisiana and very busy. I wasn't going to upload a video because I didn't have time to make one before I left Mississippi, but I DID have the most amazing day thrifting before I left, so I decided to share that. It's a little different than my normal UA-cam videos, but I'm working with what I got. Let me know what y'all think.

That little chotchkey shelf has a tiny little Aunt Jemima in it! I love it so much!

No put that item in your closet, it is a cedar hanger, helps to keeps moths from your clothes!
I thought that wasn't a thing any more. I remember hearing about it in the 70s, but is it still a problem in certain areas?
@@VioletJoy It is, if you leave wool out during the summer they will get in them. I live in S.C. and it is a problem here. I have cedar chests and I have cedar bars that I put in drawers!

Haha. Julie, I laughed when you said "Ooo, lace!" Sounded exactly like me! Lol. There are no Goodwill bin stores closer than 3 hrs from me, so I almost feel jealous, seeing how many neat finds you had!
My favorite is the wood compartment piece with all the little different kinds of rabbits and other things in it. I love those because you can put all kinds of pretties in it and it looks great.
What a haul Julie! The pictures of the children that woman donated were definitely my favorite.
Corelleware does break...I dropped a dessert plate when placing it in the cupboard over my sink one day.
It hit the edge of my sink and shattered.
I was standing barefoot at the sink.
I looked down to see a 6 inch shard embedded in my big toe! with smaller shards all around my feet.
It’s so much fun to watch you plunder through the Goodwill bins. I love seeing what you choose to buy!🥰
I always snag metal waste baskets, they paint well and you can stamp them and add transfers to them! Loved the last copper Bundt pans and metal bird tin

I have been watching another lady that goes too the Goodwill too shop,and resale. I got so bored,and she always picked weird things too resale,when her hand was right next too something that was beautiful. I had just decided not too watch her ,and came on too you. I picked up a stack of Corelle the other day, too! All white, alright!👍🏻 my dishes don’t all match but they’re all white. I like having different size bowls for yogurt, cereal or soup. And snack plates feels like treasure hunting when you find the perfect stack. 😊

I recently went to a goodwill bins store with a friend of mine, in Lancaster PA.
We had a blast! We laughed and had so much fun.
We both found some really good treasures.
I must do that again soon.

Great finds today. My granddaughter is crazy over baby Yoda right now. Its very hard to find it in the stores around were i live. I love the copper heart. The piece of wood ( at the 1:58 mark) is CEDAR which keeps Moths away.. Just use a little sanding & your wool stays safe..

I can’t believe all that you got for $32. So many good things on this trip. I kept hoping you’d go back to the cross-stitch sampler that was by the snowman and Santa at the beginning. I was curious what it was. I enjoy watching all that you find.
I thought that the bins store the chunked everything all together in big bins and then it became a free for all. Oh Man. Wish I had been there to grab ALL the lace. I am a seamstress and am starting on an entire new wardrobe for myself.
It depends on where your bins are mine is all clumped together in a mess and people just throw things around and on top of other things. I went a week ago and found a whole cart full of lace still on the rolls/plastic! I paid $35 total for all of it!

Love the copper moulds you picked up, and all the lace?!! Score. I have thrifted several small Christmas trees for $2 to $4 the last couple years. I rework them so I have trees wherever I want them. Was even able to fix a cute 3 1/2’ tree and re-worked for my older friends. Every home needs a pretty tree at Christmas. So much fun to make something out of a little find. Great finds ... have fun with them. Your US thrift stores are at least keeping the prices reasonable. Our Canadian thrift shops are dwindling away except for one called Value Village and they are FOR-PROFIT stores (which many people do not realize). The prices are ridiculous, especially when everything they sell is donated to them.

My favorite was the shelf with all the tiny items and second were pitchers of the little girls.
That cedar plank with the hanger is to deter moths. That’s why closets are lined with cedar.

You called it a chachky tray. I call them shadow boxes, but that one kind of looked like a print type tray. I have several of these and love them. Your outlet is a lot better than mine.
