Have you seen the pumpkins people have been making out of Bundt pans? They turn them bottom up, paint them orange, then put an antiquing wax on them. Once dry, they find a thick branch to cut a piece off, antique wax it, glue it into the space where the hole is, tie a ribbon or piece of jute around the stem, and put a cute hang tag on it. They are unique and beautiful. The Bundt pans you purchased, that were green and yellow, with trees on them, probably wouldn't work. But Bundt pans are always showing up!
The grater looking thing with the little “basket” on it is a spaetzle maker. The dough goes in the basket and you put it across the top of a pot of simmering water, slide the basket back and forth as the dough drips through. The long part with the holes cuts the dough making it into little noodle/dumplings. It’s delicious with pot roast, sauerbraten, paprikash or stroganoff; anything with gravy. Germans like to fry it in butter after boiling until lightly browned and crispy and add fresh chopped parsley. My kids always loved it and loved helping make it
You SAY that you don't need your craft room to be pretty and that you just need a place to store craft things.... But I've been watching your channel long enough to know that Girl, you know you are going to do up that craft room! LOL. Thanks for sharing all your amazing ideas, DIYs and decor. I always learn something from you. You inspire me!
😱NO YOU DID NOT?!?! You bought a LAMP!!! It is gorgeous.🎉🥳🎉Can’t wait to see it painted with a good shade on it. Better be careful because lamp light is cozy and cozy is SO addictive.❤️
I love your first lamp. I don't like the harshness of overhead lighting. Lamps add a soft ambiance to every vignette and make rooms so cozy. This is a FUN video. TFS!
Lamps add so much coziness to a room. Overhead ceiling lights are good for task lighting but lamps are to create a soft cozy warm atmosphere at night. I grew up with lamps and my husband grew up with overhead lights. But now he likes lamp light. Glad you bought the lamp.
Loved the shopping trips. If I can’t personally go at least I can shop with you. You hit the jackpot on the shelving units. Great video. Have a great weekend.
Always love a trip to the bins! You got so many treasures, but I think those shelves were such a great find for you room. Can't wait to see you work your magic!
I love the metal finials you found on the last day but actually like a lot of the things you found! I definitely would have grabbed that heavy, round, wooden light fixture you passed up on day one(?)!!!!
I about died until you put BOTH of those berry Christmas trees safely in your cart! Two of them are going to look SO good at Christmas time. And then the candle Christmas trees too! And all those storage units! That was fun and very satisfying.
Hi there Julie. You asked us to guess what's going in your shelving units. I reckon: 1 box of paint brushes 2 drop cloths 3 boxes of cut up spindles 4 types of glue 5 cannisters 6 silverware pieces 7 boxes of baking soda 8 cloches 9 bunches of fake florals 10 jars of antiquing wax 11 picture frames 12 baskets Happy crafting !!
I love, love, love going to the GW bins!!! I find the coolest stuff. My cousin and I go and make a day of thrift shopping and the bins are included. I loved the dishes and the shelving units....you really scored!
Oh this was such FUN !!!! Would LOVE to see something like 'the bins' here where I live....not just because it opens the door to getting awesome scores....but because it pains me to think of all these useful...usable items go to the landfill. Thrift shop prices here are insanely ridiculous. I moved house in October...and donated a truckload of things to the local thrifts. 6 months later...I still see some of my things on the shelves. It's not that I had tacky stuff....they just ask stupid prices for things. 🤣 Seriously....your enthusiasm is infectious.
Hi Julie, I loved your everyday bin shopping. The metal piece with the handle and the box on the front is a grater. You put cabbage or a big piece of cheese and push the box so you don't cut your fingers. I've only seen a wood one with one slit so I was excited to see the metal one. I wish I had goodwill bins in my area of FL.
You found some great items. Love all the glass bottles, the frames, actually like everything you bought. The shelving units were a great find, love those. I have lamps in my home so we can see what we’re doing when it gets dark. Some of my rooms have ceiling lights but not all. Is your lighting on the ceiling’s, lol ??? Also, is there a better time that’s better to go to a thrift store? Like when do they put out their stock? Thanks Julie, this was a very cool video. 😊
I think the metal grater thing is just that - a grater. The open block on it would hold your block of cheese (or veggies - whatever you need grated or julieened). It should slide up and down along the grater. CONGRATS on the IKEA shelving units. That is an amazing find! I would try to match the one missing shelves to the one with the wood drawers and move it by the window. It would be easy to turn them into a "built-in" look. So excited for you and all your fantastic finds!
Oh my gosh, I had fun watching this video. Probably because you went every day and see how each one was so different! I don’t have a Goodwill bins around here so this was fun! 🥰
Julie I really enjoyed shopping with you this week. I can't believe you didn't get the cherubs and give them the concrete look they would have been lovely on your Christmas tree or they definitely would have sold if you decided not to keep them.Lastly every home needs lamps you won't believe how much you enjoy the ambience your lamp gives you especially around sundown without using your overhead lighting.
That was great Julie😃 the bins I've been at is nothing like that. The one I was at had so many crazed people 😬 no kidding. People throwing everything around digging not much breakables survived 🤨 haven't wanted to go back. I may have to try another one out. Fun video 😊
Aww man I've been looking for an onions/taters bin! There was a lamp with owls as a base. I'd love to see if I could take out the lamp fixture and just use the owls for a figurine. Btw I love these shopping trips! Thanks for sharing.
I love both of your videos the shopping ones and the show and tell ones .You do such a good job on both. Don’t stop doing either one of them. I enjoy all of your videos. Keep up the good work.
Love your shopping adventures!!.my adult daughter & I go thrifting every tuesday on her day off. ..to us it's the most adventures treasure hunting ever!!! I love that it's 1 of a kind & u wonder the story behind the person that owned it.. such great conversation with friends & family. Great prices! . Love your videos I watch them everyday! Love your accent & u love that u always talk about your kids. Your a great gal. Go's bless u & your family. Take care. Rosalie from Seattle Washington 😊
DEFINITELY been enjoying this! I wish we had one of these near me! There is an Amazon bins about 2 hours away! I have found some great things there! I thought the cabinets were your Best Buy’s!
I love seeing your shopping videos. I shop at thrift stores and yard sales etc and I think it’s interesting seeing what stuff you can find at your places
That was fun. Of course, your bins look cleaner and less crowded than in our big city. But it was a good representation of why just because one day it’s a bust, the next day could be golden. Of course those shelving unit was the favorite. Your son’s jacket was pretty cool. The copper pans and the white, brass, and copper pot was awesome!
I loved the shelving units, the brass pans and the lamp was beautiful! And yes, take us shopping with you, I love seeing what yall's Bins have compared to ours in Texas ❤️
Julie , I love your Videos of you shopping and all you finds My favorite were the Bundt cake pans & white pit with the cooper trim m you have inspired me . My Husband passed in April of 2021 I have tons of products to do . I'll be busy . Thank you for putting a smile 😊 on my face . Many blessings 🙏
Since we don't have a Good Will Bin place any where near me, this was fun! Favorite item, oh my, I can't even remember all the items. Really intetested in what you do with the horse.
Thanks for taking us along shopping!!!!!! I can't believe you don't use lamps!! We have lamps by our beds and on our end tables in our living room. We did not have ceiling lights in our living room until last year! We finally added can lights in our ceiling! My over 50 eyes needed more light!!!!!! LOL
If it were my craft room I would put a storage bench with a padded top under the window between the storage cabinets. Then above the window put another shelf or cabinet to store lightweight items (like your baskets?). After all you have a blind on the window so you don’t necessarily need a curtain. That would give the children a place to sit down and visit while you’re crafting and also gives you more storage. For what you spent all week you did great!
Loved shopping along with you at the Bins. We are getting a new traditional Goodwill store about 2 miles from my house but I have never been to an Outlet like this. The storage cabinets were perfect for your space and look they were made for that room. My guess is merchandise will be going on those shelves! Thanks for the great content and entertainment that you provide!
I loved this.. I wish we had bins at my Goodwill. I think you found a lot of great thing’s. Excited to see you flip some of them 👍 I find it funny that you don’t have lamps, I have lamps all over my home. 🤣
I love the shelving units! As you were panning the shelves, I kept eyeballing my stash of craft things in front of me and said I really need that! Your collection are baskets mine are vintage boxes and crates! You found amazing things on your five day bins adventure. It was worth the trip!
Hi Julie! That was so much fun! I like your new lamp -- welcome to the wonderful world of lamps. They are both decorative and functional. I can't wait to see what you are going to do to organize your craft room and update these goodies!
I enjoy our trips and admire your discipline to not buy things. Really like the storage units..great deal. I have one of those lights in our attic..really lights up the area.
What great hauls! The little black desk/chair you showed on Thursday that was missing a leg-I've seen them hanging on the wall using the seat part as a shelf! So it wouldn't have needed the leg, as if I did it, I'd take off all the legs anyway. And that yellow lamp!!! Love it 💗💗 To each his own, but I don't understand not having lamps in your house. There are so many pretty things you can do with lamp shades, especially if it's just the bare ''bones" as I call them 😊 Cover with doilies, just all kinds of ideas!
I may actually go visit the bins in my area for the first time tomorrow after watching this video! You totally inspired me! Love this type of video along with seeing what you do to transform your finds!
Maybe find a cute lampshade and cover it with burlap? I make burlap curtains for vintage campers I sell and they are darling. U are my favorite!!!!! Always look forward to your treasure hunts😊 ❤️
I really enjoy watching you go through all of the bins And yes I would like to watch you go shopping And I can't wait to see what you do with the horse you found My guess room is all horse stuff And I love horse Thanks Julie it was fun 😀
Love the blanket. If you lived in Colorado and that red was orange that would be a super seller (Branco fans). The grater looking thing, I think is to grater block cheese. And I love your first lamp. Congratulations!!!! And as always thank you for sharing.

The ceramic pot with the copper is part of a double boiler! I had one of those many years ago!
I think the other part was in the bin but she missed it! I was telling the screen “Go back! Go back!” 😂
Correct and me too....pick ip and look at that other piece I kept saying 🤣
So did I, loved it!"❤

One of the funniest adventures you've taken us on. Very entertaining. LOVEDIT! Please do it again. Maybe once a month would be so AWESOME. Thank you.

I liked coming along with you. Enjoy seeing everything you thrift and the stuff you leave behind for others to rescue. Do this again, please.
Loved the shopping trips. If I can’t personally go at least I can shop with you. You hit the jackpot on the shelving units. Great video. Have a great weekend.
I always enjoy watching it all from thrifting and shopping, to the tutorials. Thanks for bringing us along! :)
I love shopping with you and/or watching a haul. I was so excited about the shelving units that you scored!!!
Always love a trip to the bins! You got so many treasures, but I think those shelves were such a great find for you room. Can't wait to see you work your magic!
That was fun! Those shelves were a good deal. You can turn any junk into something fantastic. Can't wait to see what you do with your treasure.
I love the metal finials you found on the last day but actually like a lot of the things you found! I definitely would have grabbed that heavy, round, wooden light fixture you passed up on day one(?)!!!!
Those shelving units totally make up for the bad "bin day" lol!! Sooo much storage!! Loved the shop with me format!!!
I about died until you put BOTH of those berry Christmas trees safely in your cart! Two of them are going to look SO good at Christmas time. And then the candle Christmas trees too! And all those storage units! That was fun and very satisfying.

6 silverware pieces
7 boxes of baking soda
8 cloches
9 bunches of fake florals

Julie, I love The lamp, very cottage chic, and in white it could be French country as well! Plus these designs soften every thing!!
That was great Julie😃 the bins I've been at is nothing like that. The one I was at had so many crazed people 😬 no kidding. People throwing everything around digging not much breakables survived 🤨 haven't wanted to go back. I may have to try another one out. Fun video 😊

Love that Bundt ban
I love both of your videos the shopping ones and the show and tell ones .You do such a good job on both. Don’t stop doing either one of them. I enjoy all of your videos. Keep up the good work.

We did not have ceiling lights in our living room until last year! We finally added can lights in our ceiling! My over 50 eyes needed more light!!!!!! LOL
FYI, the glassware you identified as a beaker is actually an Erlenmeyer flask. Both are laboratory glassware and fun for a boy’s room.
Those storage cabinets were a steal! Lucky find!
Nice to meet you, Lamp. You are lovely & will add warmth to the home. ♥️♥️♥️
That was sooooooo fun!
I love seeing you in the process of shopping for goodies!!! You get so excited when you find something great. Yes, please do this again!!
I would love to do a bin-a-thon but watching yours is the next best thing. 😁
You got some good deals, especially the wood & wire shelving units!
My favorite of your videos (even though I love them all) is shopping at the bins with you. Bin digging is my passion!

and Mrs T Wow what a great haul look forward to the makeovers so well done Deff love this type of videos
Love the yellow lamp! Lamps are SOO much cozier than overhead lights!
What great hauls! The little black desk/chair you showed on Thursday that was missing a leg-I've seen them hanging on the wall using the seat part as a shelf! I like the butterflies, I would enjoy Annie Sloaning those in various colours. But poor little Pillsbury Boy. No head, no head!
The metal grater thing is used to make spatzle, a noodle type side dish (german). Love all the treasures you found!
Love the blanket. If you lived in Colorado and that red was orange that would be a super seller (Branco fans). The grater looking thing, I think is to grater block cheese. And I love your first lamp. Congratulations!!!! And as always thank you for sharing.
Wow……..oh, to have those shelving units !! Good finds 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I love to go shopping with you. Very fun, please don't stop ❤
I love watching you thrift shop.
Personally love shopping along! Fun fun fun!
You could use the berry trees in the fall also.I would take the stars off the candles and paint them dark green and then useful all year round.
I like the shopping trips every day
