This is an airshow, but a bank after takeoff is pretty common; ATC needs you exactly where they tell you when you’re close to the airport or busy airspace so you hit that heading immediately once you’ve confirmed your climb is stable.

This is Farnborough - during one of its biennial airshows (22-26 July 2024 is the next one). You can see the display parking to the right. The white public house at the far end of the runway’s a good place to be even on a normal day. Neither aircraft will be carrying normal fuel load, passengers, or baggage. So the pilots get to fly a bit more than usual. On the other hand, the airport’s right in the middle of the town, so they have to keep the track tight and the workload will be correspondingly high. Sadly, it’s become very difficult to plan displays in urban areas since rules were tightened in 2015 and it’s reverted to its original focus as a trade show. The weekend public days have been dropped, and although the public can attend on Friday, it was the weekends which drew the crowds. Fond memories of that place. A380, B787, A400M, AV-8B, B-52H, B1-B, F35-B, V-22, BAe Hawk, Apache, and many, many others. B-52 got lost. Two days on the trot. USAF General giving the intro recovered well - we’re rolling out a block upgrade with improved navigation; that one’s clearly not had it. To be fair, it had flown in from Barksdale, and coming from wide open plains, who would expect two airfields to be within 5 miles of each other anyway?!?
It seems an air show to me: 1) the steep pitch the departing plane has taken; 2) no taxiway (at least not so much taxiways I would expect in an airport) between the runway and the structure on the right; 3) on the right it appears to me not an airport. But I could get wrong...

The a350 took off really fast, if the plane was filled with cargo and passengers it would not take off that fast. 2. That turn was really sharp again not safe with passengers on and would give them a big scare
This isn't cool, it's dangerous and a trend we keep seeing with ATC trying to sequence things too close. If the 350 had to reject or the 380 went around, could get bad in a hurry
The smaller airline is doing what's known in the Air Force as a "max take-off." That's when the bird climbs at a nearly 90-degree angle with afterburner on, which, ironically, this bird can't do because of its payload in passengers and fully fueled. But if im correct, heavies - cargo planes and airliners - do not have the benefit of afterburner. The passenger airline in the video did its max take-off at approximately a 45-degree climb. Any greater than that angle and the risk of a stall increases exponentially. 😢 Recovery from a stall is highly unusual unless there's enough energy (as in afterburner) to remove it from crashing to the ground.
