Even though the a350 has longer range, i liked the boeing design more, especially the beautifully swept wings, it shaped like bird wings in sweeping motion. So dynamic
To me both aircrafts are beautiful in their own way. Ive been on A350-1000 but still awaiting B777-300ER. Hopefully soon. On the other hand not been on A350-900 yet but on B777 200ER

Airbus is a newer company, just founded in 1970 which is 53 years ago with its first Airbus A300. Boeing has been around since 1916 which is 107 years ago with the first Boeing model 1. Boeing's newest model is the 787 which is to replace 767 and Airbus' is A350 in response to the 787 Dreamliner. A35K may perform better, but it is younger compared to 77W. 777-9 will replace the aging 777s.

My outbound flight was in economy and return was in business class so I got a feel for both and it was great. The cabin in the A350 is very quiet too, not far off the A380.

How do you compare the length of the two planes?
The 777-300ER is 73.9m and the A350 is 73.78m as per aviatorjoe.net

Where did you get the range figures? The A350-1000 has an 8900nm range. Significantly higher than the 777.
Yeah the range figures they put are completely wrong. The 777-300ER has a range of 7,370 nmi and the A350-1000 a range of 8,900 nmi
