- This is an outstanding comparison. Who will prevail as the winner? Will it be the massive and wide Jay Cutler? Or will Phil Heath use his 3D look as an advantage and score the big win? Lets find out at least who I think was better.
Aesthically Jay because the midsection is actually really tight and impressive.

You have not seen nasser El sanbaty I guess, he was twice as big as Jay and his abs were bigger and thicker with a slimmer waistline.
Not horrible. I’d actually argue that he had a decent back, but cuz he was up against guys like Ronnie and Phil, his back looked bad in comparison.

Jay cutler is the second best bodybuilder to ever walk the planet. He's the only guy who has beaten ronnie coleman to win the title. He should have beat him multiple times too.
Reality is that the competition makes the person stronger. Phil's competition wasn't as intense as jays.
Ronnie at his best was the best don't get me wrong but the only man close and it's a far #2 is Jay.

Pictures is not justifying jay, but i can guarantee you that jay culter would beat phill in most of the pose, might be not in just backs few poses spcly on back double biceps other wise side chest size triceps over all jay would beat phill with the good margin not only with 1 point, Jay was insane he has beaten many great bodybuilders even who were more huge than him like paul dellet, markus hull, nelsal ambati etc

Phil has some muscle groupings for the ages (arms, shoulders and traps; hamstrings, glutes and that tight waist), but Jay's shape and flow, mixed with a load of mass, are much more pleasing to the eye in this particular match.
no arguments here, Phil is packed with muscle groups that cant be beat, his arms looks insane in the front double bi here, but then the big guy (Jay) comes right up with his arm.

If you pause at 0:26 I find it very hard to give it to Phil. When Phil poses all hell breaks loose, but standing "relaxed" Phil looks shithouse!! Jay looks freaking amazing! So wide, hard and powerful - and his waist is flat and tight.

I give phil the most musculars. Really shows how 3d and cartoonish his insertions are. But Jay here is just too big. Like a shawn ray and Yates kinda deal. Beyeke at the Arnold Brazil where he placed 2nd to kuclo vs flex in 1998. Dexter put it out there, be nice to see them at their best.

Cutler looks incredible on MM with hands claps and its definitely better, legs, calves, traps, shoulders, chest(wider and not look narrow like Phil), lose in arms department.
Phil clearly beats him in BDB, clearly lose in MM Crab.
RLS is debatable. Phil clearly gots him in details, while Cutler is way wider, more mass and thickness.

The Best Of Phil Heath will be soon. WOW very hard to say. I liked Arnold's Physique, Flex Wheeler(only in 93 or before) 92 Levrone, Shawn Ray. If Shawn Ray was taller he might be perfect. I honestly don't think we have seen the ultimate bber yet. Serge Nubret was good too.

Most of the poses are okay, but i`m not okay with few of them, and this them:
RLS - Cutler is more massive, and its a way wider, and at the end of the day the pose is how you open your lats and see how wide you are. Cutler also beat him in thickness. Also in that pose Cutler have better lower back. Just see how low his lats goes, its insane. Not to mention the quality in 2001 can`t be compared to 2011.
Side Chest - in a picture they may look the same, but in reality Cutler is way bigger and wider and he will definitely win that pose.
MM hands down - Cutler by far. He looks way better, way more conditioned and way bigger. The only thing Phil have is the thickness in the arms, but he lose by every single other component in this pose. In the legs he will get crushed, look at the calves its not a competition .... Traps, chest, width, mass, ABS. And Cutler looks very aesthetic here, way Phil arms overpowering the rest of his body by much and doesn`t look aesthetic at all.
The other MM pose is a closer one and you can go either way. Yeap Phil arms and shoulders look better, but his chest disappear in that pose and he look insanely narrow and zero aesthetic.
Crazy forearm tho.
But Cutler once again beat him in the legs, in the chest, in the traps and loses only in the arms department.
While Phil looks fuller, Cutler is way more conditioned from the front and its way bigger and wider and in real comparison Phil has no chance.
2001, 2002 AC, 2003(Ironman and Olympia) 2005, 2006, 2009 will always be superior to any version of Phil Heath, because Cutler is way bigger and wider and when Phil stands next to a guy who doesn`t give up conditioning to him and its looks twice as big as him, then he will get destroyed. And his weak points will be obvious.
BTW Cutler ealry in his career doesnt have a wide waist. His waist is small till 2004. After that he gained so much mass he fu***** up. Tho in 2009 his waist looks very solid as well.
Just stop the video at 0:56 and you will see how crazy his conditioning was from the back as well, but this picture doesn`t do him a favor.

IMO Jay wins the front poses accept crab mm. Phil wins the back poses 100%, and side poses I like Phil more due to his conditioning and separation (from legs through shoulders & chest). Good match though and not 1 sided at all. 👍

I am not saying that he can beat Phil Heath as it is close and pretty subjective. Not to mention that he beat Phil Heath in 2010 Olympia.

I agree, phils reputation is bad for those poses but in his prime he looked amazing in every pose really. This competitiom is not close at all anyway. Judges would give phil literally every pose.

@@valerioscharer4676 The FDB because even if Phil Heat's arms are superior the outline Jay carves is incredible helped by the partial vacuum, in te lower body the feathered quads give him a slight edge. The side triceps I also gotta go with Jay, the execution is special, the abs the shoulders the side leg all look exeptional and it flows perfectly. The abs&ties also belogs to Jay Cutler because he has better abs and quads so "It ain't pretty but it gets the job done". So it is a tie.
