YES and YES!!! I love the new wheels. You guys just keep improving in the quality of your videos. As for the Maverick and the vette go cart build, like the kids say these days "Let's GO!"
Definitely an upgrade from the stock steelies. I just got my 2024 a few weeks ago after 10 months of waiting, and when I ordered mine getting different wheels was one of the bigger reasons to get an XLT right out the gate.
Fun to watch you guy's excitement. My 2022 XL hybrid is still happy with it's steelies and Continentals after 30,000 miles. It reminds me of the main two reasons I bought it. Price and gas milage. My bedliner is a piece of ¾ inch plywood and the floor mats came from Walmart. Maybe that's why I'm still single. I'm just not impressing the ladies enough. That plus the fact that I'm older than dirt as well as dirt poor. Maybe I'll have better luck next time. My 2024 XLT hybrid is scheduled for Nov 20 build.
My 2024 XLT Maverick is scheduled to be built the week of November 27th. Its an AWD, 2.0 EcoBoost, 4K Towing, 360 Co-Pilot, Black Appearance & XLT LUX Packages. Shadow Black. I plan on lowering with H&R or Eibach lowering springs. I'm also planning on getting 20's with 245 45 R20 tires (maybe Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4). Your video of your friends lowered Maverick is basically what I am going for. The only reason for the towing package is for the extra cooling (higher capacity radiator, transmission oil cooler, upgraded cooling fan) and lower gears.
The thing is looking sharp ... Liking the direction your heading, how does it drive after the heavier /wider setup ... hmmm maybe do pre-post mod reviews and let us know how you feel things change and woulda ya actually do it again if you had choice ...
I appreciate that you guys are trying to make these videos entertaining, but the way you're moving around and gesturing in front of the camera reminds me of ads from a waterbed store..."come on down, everything must go, we must be crazy to be selling at these prices!" 😂
Trying to save some money, rather than have 2 separate sets of tires for winter and the rest of the year, can you recommend a really good all weather tire?
I have gone down slightly in MPG yes, about 3. I have a feeling it’s because of the larger width and more resistance these tires have vs my previous. The wheel size should ultimately increase gas mileage.
It went down about 1 mpg from the wheels, however since than we have experienced an extremely cold weather drop and I’ve noticed the hybrid system not working as much as usual. It’s now getting about 8mpg less than usual
It’s an XL… and you don’t really have the option to pick your maverick when there was practically 0 available. I also much prefer these wheels over BAP wheels
I started to notice the Mavericks are starting to flood into the used car dealers lots with about 5000 miles on them as the main reason they were turned in early it's because they were either too small for families or the customer was very dissatisfied. Switching to the Tacoma seems to be the main fad
What do you guys think of A- the new wheels & B- the new editing style?

Lots of exciting stuff! & Having a lot of fun doing it!

Your comment at least made me smile!
I might just add this rim mod and not lower the truck at all I think it looks pretty badass just like this!!
Do it!
Don't you know what kind truck that is???, it's not a70's Ford car called a maverick!!!. It's really VW BUS "DUMMIES"!!!

Awesome!! Excited for you.
Do you know what year the land rover these tire came off? I will try to look for the same tires this weekend from a local pick and pull yard
Why is that Jack so far out? Looks like it’s right under the siding.
That’s where the vehicles pinch weld is!

Love the suggestion. Stay tuned.
Can you recommend hubcaps for the 17in steel wheels? Not ready to upgrade to nice wheels at this time.
I have the same xl Maverick whit the same steel wheel. And I like it. Butt look good on black wheels.
Sorry guys, but I like the stock wheels just fine! They cost a lot less, also!
It was actually cheaper for me to get these wheels and tires than it would have been to just get tires for the stock wheels 😉
@@PerformanceOnWheels It would have been cheaper just to leave the stock wheels and tires on.
The stock tires would not have gotten me thru a Minnesota winter without getting stuck daily
Did you use the original lug nut on the new tires?
Sweet! Can’t wait!

I miss waterbeds.
Now all you need to do is lower it Nice job.
I’m looking forward to seeing how it looks!
Can you guys please put the specific size of the wheels ?? 20 x what width? What’s the offset? A link would be very helpful?
20x8 +35 would look good

The Michelin cross climates are amazing
Sweet 👍🏼
Looks good! What are you going to lower it with?
Eibach lowering springs! Video will be out later this week!
How's the ride quality and MPGs compared to stock?
Very similar to stock
Yeah, the wheels look good I don’t care for the cactus gray color though of the truck
I just bought another one in a new color ;)
@@PerformanceOnWheels cool
Thanks for comparing to stock height etc. Not sure if you are paying attention at all, but do you notice any different in MPG?

@@PerformanceOnWheels Thanks for the response
Big upgrade
Time to slam it 😎
Anybody know the offset since they don’t
A 35 will look great on there
What kind of wheels are they and size
Sport tuning 20s
How’s the mpg since the wheel switch?
It went down about 1 mpg from the wheels, however since than we have experienced an extremely cold weather drop and I’ve noticed the hybrid system not working as much as usual. It’s now getting about 8mpg less than usual
Whats mpg now
2 less than it was stock
My only question: WHY?
Because it’s sick
Yep definitely SICK AF!
...ooorrrrrrrrrr ya coulda just paid for the black trim package. Just a thought.

One of the worst videos, I have ever watched.
Glad you liked it so much! Don’t forget to like and subscribe!
How wide are those wheels?
265
As soon as he said “slam” 👎🏼
We have been waiting for you.

Or because everyone is making 5-10k a piece on them lol
@@PerformanceOnWheels The base model Maverick is going for $32,000. Strange world where you drive a new vehicle off the lot and it gains $10,000.
Why would you trade a truck as good as a maverick in for one as shitty as a Tacoma?
