Saw him all four dates in LA. Absolutely awesome live. I believe they are working on additional material that will be released sooner rather than later. We can only hope. Thank you David.

@@wesdavis8797 How did the Bowl shows compare to MSG? I thought the mirror ball effect looked better indoors at the Intuit dome, but the lasers looked better outdoors because the wind would blow the fog, creating moving patterns within the shifting beams. Something about all those lasers shooting out of the half dome is beyond cool.
У меня никогда небыло такого отца,как Дэвид!!! Я бы хотела,чтобы такой настоящий и любящий отец был рядом всегда! Чтобы он был таким,как Дэвид! Very natural man, I like how he just looks like an ordinary chap, and that isn't meant to sound derogatory. Just shows he isn't about all that flashing.
I love seeing David use his substantial clout in order to promote his young daughter. That is LOVE. 😊 More valuable than money, guitars and gold records.
Saw him on Saturday Night Live in the late 80s with a low wattage and heavily distorted amp. PF was before my time. The only chance I had to see them was their final '86 tour. Too big a venue and too far away for a high school kid.
Always great to see him & hear him. But... a somewhat wasted opportunity of a chit-chat interview, plus the sad refrain: Polly this, Polly that, Polly in a Pink Floyd hat, Polly here, Polly there, Polly always everywhere. 🤷🏼♂️
I am a huge Gilmour fan, have been for over 40 years, I think his work is fantastic, but I think it somewhat is to his discredit that he doesn't 'contest' Holland's rather silly '...one of the greatest guitar players of all time...' introduction, when he clearly isn't; one of the most revered or appreciated, certainly, but greatest, defiitely not. Brian May also does this. On the other hand, Hendrix and Beck both tended to show awkwardness when receiving such sensationalist accolades, showing a modesty which I felt had an endearing quality. But of course, Holland has this wondeful showbiz bounciness, and maybe I am a miserable old git.
While I see your point, I think it is just a strategy that May and Gilmour have adopted. They hear that said to them a lot and have just reached a stage of deciding to let it pass in silence. But maybe I'm being over-generous! I do remember on some other Jools Holland show, with BB King and Gilmour and Jools asked Gilmour what he was going to be doing next. Gilmour replied 'Keep practicing until I'm as good as BB.' - which I took to be in the spirit of 'Keep practicing forever'.
LEGEND
GOAT. I’m just happy to see David release an album in 2024 at his age. We are lucky to have him.
David is elegance in every sense of the word.💙
he certainly is
No doubt, and pure class.
Saw him at his first concert at Madison Square Garden
Mind blowing
True icon
His daughter singing on this album is magnificent I bought it the moment I heard it
Class act to the max! We need more great people like him in this world!
Maybe the world needs more great people like you and me. Try it!
Between two points is a fantastic song.
Such a great person Mr. David Gilmour, really love his music and this album is so great Indeed. ,😎👍😉🤘🎼🖤☠️🥃💀⚡

I can't stop listening to it .
Keep going David, you are needed.
One of the greatest guitar players? THE GREATEST .

i believe i spoke to you at the last show, not sure. i spoke to somebody, might as well be you. nippy night, fingers on fire.
I was there on the 29th! Dude above is absolutely correct. Freezing cold. But David was incredible
Saw him once in LA (Thursday) then twice in NYC (Monday and Wednesday) Amazing shows all around.

still waiting for that rick beato interview
Rick Beato is a dinosaur boomer
@@GibsonSG2001 Beato is a nobody. Before UA-cam, nobody had ever heard of him. Now he is suddenly the Yoda of rock. Bullshit to him.

Lol. Beato is 16 years younger than Gilmour.
As a kid about eight or so years old I heard One Of These Days...and thought "What is this?" 😅

I appreciate how he helped Syd way back when until it was just over and done about all that.

The Circus Maximus and the Colosseum are entirely different things / places. The maximum capacity of the Colosseum was more like 70 to 80,000.

Full interview or not?
Short and full
Jool's interviews are always short on his show
If we get that on the Tonight Show(Thursday) here is the US it would be miracle...
Jool's ability to give an awful interview is impressive at this stage.
I find David very thereputic to listen to, whether he is talking , singing or playing guitar
I hope they can get him off the streets. Homelessness is a terrible thing, especially for the elderly.

Comfortably numb live made hair stand up on back of my neck he likes vintage fine wine better as gets older
Why did he only make a song for the fascists in Western Ukraine, that was a gross mistake in the name of Pink Floyd.
Wrong. He made a song to support ukraine in fight with fascist russia
@@Watcher4111 he also has Ukrainian relatives too if i recall ..so I feel he was somewhat personally invested in that particular song/project
