Sold both my SRTs. Ordered the Dark Horse and an aftermarket supercharger. I'm not against electric. But muscle is more than speed. It's the sound and experience. Y'all enjoy.

I just hate and cringe at people calling anything with more than 2 doors a muscle car. Also, any electric vehicle being called a muscle car is absolutely insane.

I’m more interested in the inline twin turbo 6 version. Not sure I want to commit to electric but glad they kept the 4 door charger
Judging by what I hear on charging infrastructure from America, I'd say wait a few years. Infrastructure is there and it is getting more and more reliable but I'm not going to recommend an ev to anyone until you can pay with cash or at minimum with a credit card at most charging locations. The handling and feel is incredible though.
Knowing they are releasing a v6 inline engine makes me love this. Great to have both options
When I was a kid,my first Dodge Charger,like a lot of other kids from a certain generation,was the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard,and even knowing what I know now, I still have a great fondness for that hell-raisin' beast. Aside from the black Pontiac Trans-Am,that Hemi Orange Charger was my first automotive love 😍. Just the color of this new Charger on that new design alone ,so evocative of the car of my youth, is giving me all the feels.
Still like the looks of the current wide body Scats a lot better and the 6.4 under the hood.
How would you take it to a car show? Pop the hood to see nothing lol or I guess you show off your electric motors lol 😂.
It was a masterful idea to put that front spoiler up. That way they could have an aerodynamic sloped front hidden as a traditional boxy Charger. The engineering displayed here is amazing. Let’s hope it’s reliable.

Forget the EV version. I’m ready to see the inline 6 “6 pack” line up with a hellcat. I love the sound of the hemi, but I have a feeling the 6 pack going to be spanking the 7th generation mopars. The 2 door all wheel drive for sure.

It seem like this will be the final generation of the Dodge Charger, and not only these will be made in sedans, but also we will see the return of the coupe for the final time.

Hate the front end. Needs the lines for the doors as well to tie old school look. They could probably sell some or these if the front end wasn't so bad.
Probably one of the most clean and future proofed body styles with the end points wrapping things up so nicely. This looks like when companies show concepts but they never deliver like this... I don't like dodge but I'd buy this if it was built with a natural v8 or diesel. He'll I'd buy a 4cyl hybrid version with no turbo ngl.

This is a very awesome vehicle I'm amazed on how good it looks and all of the available options I would most definitely purchase one , I would prefer the 4 door option . I just like bigger cars , and if I can get the same performance as a two door then it's a no brainer for me.

Thank you! Still own a 2008 first edition Challenger but I'd definitely get an EV Charger as well. Honestly, I'd prefer anything where I can listen to 7.1 Dolby Master HD Atmos mkv files while driving. I could care less about forced phone crap.

I've driven a 2016 Challenger. I love the new style of both EVs. I'll be checking out the 4 door R/T when they're in production.
They should have put the charging door on the top of the fender like the 68-70 gas door

This Car should have been updated about 4 years ago. I have one as a rental about 6 months ago and felt like I went back in time about 10 years.

The badge on the wheel is a far cry from the old days. I had a 63 Dodge Custom 880 convertible that had that badge on the hubcaps in the form of spinners. They looked like knockoff spinners, but where attached to the hubcap.

I think Dodge did a great job on the styling of the car, but I hope they come with a lifetime warranty, cause the battery isn't exactly cheap out of warranty. It's being reported somewhere in the neighborhood of 20k for a replacement battery in the Tesla.

"Liftback" killed it for me. Screams "wife, kids, dog, unfolded stroller"...not "svelte sporty car for swingers". If you have to haul the latter, buy a Pacifica and leave us sporty people alone.
(PS I have no need for a "lift back" - if I can't fit it into the back seat or trunk, I'll just have it deivered...)

I like it but I wish they would have least made a hybrid variant so you could still use gas, instead of fully electric.. won’t really be able to drive these too far from home.. if they made a hybrid version I would deal with it! Heck they could have just thrown in the new twin turbo v6 and that woulda been ok by me too.

The only real Charger has 2 doors. Too bad they didn't get the "coke bottle" styling quite right. I still remember sitting in a red 68 Charger R/T in the dealer showroom. The price was around $3800. I wanted that so bad, but my Dad said no absolutely no. At least the new turbocharged engines still have plenty of power. I'm glad they stuck with it.
