Then once in a blue moon, out of nowhere UA-cam will recommend something you actually are interested in seeing, that it has had in it's lockers for over a decade ago, like this. He made this video around the time of Rocky V, and Rocky V is the only movie that he played Rocky as though he were doing a parody of Rocky. It seems that by 1990 he had forgotten how to play Rocky in the same way as he did in the first two movies.
Watching this in 2020 is a real reminder of how “drunk” the character was in Rocky V. Caricature is definitely the word that comes to mind. But in 1990, the character was supposed to end with brain damage so it makes sense. So thankful for Rocky Balboa, which gave the character back his dignity.

I first saw Rocky when I was a kid. Rocky IV was on TBS and I had no idea what the story was about or who to root for in the boxing. This was before I knew about the Cold War and what not. But the fight was cool in my eyes. It wasn't until I was a bit older that I watched 1 - 5 in order.
