Thank you for this Gregory. I use to live in Holland Rd 20+ years ago and used to frequent his dad's shop at Commonwealth Ave. My wife and I are going to Singapore in a few weeks time and were just talking about his shop; wondering what happened to it and how we enjoyed his Lamb and Steak especially with the brown sauce - so unique! We will be sure to visit Maxwell centre just for this and reminisce with his son. Thank you
Hey Gregory! Somehow came across your food review videos. I would say ur channel is a hidden gem. Tbh nowadays the food reviewer anyhow rate because they want to earn money. Bias review.. I can see ur effort by going 3 days to try all their food in the menu.. u gain a new subscriber greg! So keep up the good work..
I have to agree to that. Ive watch many food review channnels, and they can be bit cringy. Mr Low here is very precise and direct in his reviews. Keep it up!
Yan Sufray yeah he is honest in his review.. and trying to food afew days with and without camera.. is really a waste that no one know about this channel..
yeah i agree i'm obsessed his reviews are very honest and genuine. i like his personality as well. it's really a hidden gem, better reviews and reccos than the leading food channels now. he even gives very detailed history and background of the business. excited to see more of his content!
Gregory Leow you pick the place and the date and the time. Will be staying at the Fullerton Bay that week. I trust your food judgement. Will be nice to meet up with someone who knows the local scene. Thank you Greg.
i believed that if you want to take away, u can always choose cutlet over chops. the batter will retain the juiciness of the meat, unlike chops will go dry after awhile. But normally i eat very fast hahaha so doesnt had such issues.
Hey thanks for the recommendation! I heard good things about western bbq. I still haven’t gone to try! But yes I have mixed feelings about ye lai Xiang. Some stuff I like, some I don’t. The main purpose of covering it is because it is the Pioneer stall which “invented” the dish
Yes. The old at old airport road famous for their pork chop with special made garlic sauce. Been there for many years. The other good one is at the coffeeshop at Crawford Lane ( tai woh bcm). The owner Uncle work in a restaurant in Australia for many years.
Haha! Actually what happened is that I did do it on different days. I quickly washed the t-shirt and used it the next day thinking about shot continuity but then I thought aiyah, the video will show that I eat four dishes in one day. Like greedy pig right. So hence that’s why the video is a bit funny lah 😂😂

Tried it once at Newton FC but dIdnt have a good impression as it was average and slightly more expensive. I preferred Western BBQ at Old Airport FC.

I suspect it's all shot in the sane day. But I still live your videos.
You should try the hainanese beef noodles at a hawker center along Toa Payoh Lor 7. The best beef noodles in Singapore! IMO.
It’s good! That said, I do find the sauce a little bit sweet. Haha
The look on her face at 0:39.
"Wah...people use camera to chope table one ah?"
Are u using plastic fork and knife?
haha yes. provided by the stall
Should try Singapore poly western food too
That I have no experience with 😂. You probably have a better idea of what’s good

Ooi baba. You day 2 no change baju ah. You overnight in maxwell market ah.
I usually visit Maxwell market during night time but the long queue at Ye Lai Xiang always scare me off.
LN Won yeah the Long queues are unrelenting. If I want to eat, I usually go early lunch or dinner. Otherwise I don’t bother
Good times:)
Why 2 chicken dishes? Should have ordered the famous Hainanese pork chop!
Terry Tay I did. Further along in the video, I ordered the pork chop and the pork cutlet
Ooi ba. A few days later also same baju lagi. Alamak. Tukar baju la.
