In this video, I go through my collection of vintage Pelican paperbacks, numbered A401 to A475 as published by Penguin Books from 1959 to 1961. These are fascinating to look at and really cemented Penguin reputation as 'The Popular Educator'.
I do hope you enjoy this long-overdue look at this series. I've pretty much got the first 600 books complete, bar a couple. I'll do the next video in a month or so.

Jules, not a series i collect at all but it is good to see these. There are some i would very much like to read, i will have to see if i can fine them. This is the kind of video i like, when i can view and learn about series i do not collect, and would not collect, but very much appreciate the information. Cheers for 2024!

Variety . Spice up our lives . Befor the internet and the mighty google and others . The days when the authors looked serious and knowledgable . And all in suites .( just a bit of humour on my part 😂 ). Many of the subject matter , still seems so relevent to our timed .
