You nailed it, everytime I listen to any of these I get angry. Our country is in a mess, we have idots running it. O-bidens; Kamala-toe Harris; too many to name the rest. We have a small handful of politicians that care and are trying to fix it, but they can't get the minions to answer the questions. If they continually dodge them, they need to just send them all to the border and make them guard. And not at a known crossing, but out in the dessert. Maybe if they have to do real work, we can at least get the border problems on the agenda. They wouldn't have time to think of stupid answers like hospitals are the worst for climate change.

I'm in Fairbanks Alaska working at the hospital in the facilities department, net zero is an insanely unrealistic goal here. Fuel oil is critical to the production of steam, which provides heat and sterilization for our patients and the tools used to treat them. As well as emergency power when, as it frequently does in Alaska, the power goes out. A patient on life support should not die because "if we run the generators we won't make net zero goals" Our use of resources can always be tempered to try and be efficient but patient health and recovery is always the top priority and that conflicts heavily with the idea of being "net zero"

Hard to say. I know Becerra doesn't have a clue. All I know is that trying to hoodwink other countries into swallowing global warming voodoo by bribing them in the short run to stop them from using oil/gas so we can keep it for ourselves isn't going to work. They'll take our money, but they're not going to be scrounging around on all fours for grubs, insects and weeds for dinner - like the WEF has planned for us.
I imagine this budget would start to look very different if the people actually paying the taxes to fund all this crap were the ones who voted on it

Because they're spending more than they need....I agree one would think they would come prepared.....would think Congress gave them a list of what they're going to be asked .....if they don't have the info, they will have to appear over and over until they come prepared with what's requested......if they continue, hold them in contempt and placed in a holding cell for as many hours/days,weeks as needed until they produce requested info, someone in their office has the info/documents requested....

I remember during the 'sequester' era, the first round only about 1/3rd of us on base were 'permitted' to go to work because we were 'essential', but we did fine. Actually, my office got a lot more done in those couple of weeks than we normally could because so many of the bureaucrats we 'work around' rather than 'work with' were gone and others took up their slack. The second time around they were not going to let that happen, just as they left for their paid vacation an order came down from the Pentagon itself saying essential personnel were not allowed to work, we had to show up but were not allowed to even drive our GSA vehicles or engage in any official business. So we had to sit on our thumbs wasting time and dollars, while they got paid to not come in at all...under orders we 'essential personnel' could not do any actual work.

An effort to destroy health care any more is frustrating. It took me 3 years to find a dentist that didn’t abuse the insurance. I have two separate dentist bills that charged over $2,500 for a routine cleaning. I spoke with my insurance and they were in shock and disbelief. TWO dentists did this which shows it’s THE SYSTEM.
Hey, they have to pay for all that equipment that POOFS UP the dentist's office and facilities.
The insurance never pays that amount. It's a shell game. Hospitals do the same, charge 300$ for an aspirin.

"Carbon" aka carbon dioxide DOES NOT contribute negatively in anyway. A decrease in CO2 means a decrease in plant growth. Which leads to a decrease in plant eating animals. Which leads to a decrease in meat eating animals. A single volcanic eruption puts more climate changing particulates in the air than humans could in a year.
Going clean is good regardless, local pollution from coal kills plants and animals. Nuclear is the way to go, and fusion eventually (its only 20 years away amirite?) 🤣
@@caesarsalad1170 Coal mining is far less damaging to the environment than lithium or cobalt mining and less damaging than getting rid of lithium batteries and carbon fiber turbine blades. Yes to nuclear. We were supposed to have widely available flying cars by now. Not going to hold my breathe on fusion. :)

Adding any gas to a planet, cools the planet via increased conduction. Think of a planet without an atmosphere. The planet's suface and below accumulates heat. Now add an atmosphere. We now have a gas medium that transmits the heat iinto sppace.
