I was serving in the Navy when Carter became president. Guys were bailing out in droves. The military as a rule are quitting or drummed out whenever we have a Democrat as president. Clinton took a Navy that was 25 strong in aircraft carriers and reduced it down to 13 with all supporting vessels in each task force. I served under 3 presidents: Nixon, whom the majority of military personnel would continue to serve under, Ford, what a joke and we started losing personnel under him and then comes the peanut boy and his Georgia Cronies which totally ruined all branches and we became weak.

Unless there’s a war few people actually join to serve their country. Most people I know joined for college, to travel, meet spouse, a paycheck, avoid menial workforce, bragging rights, tough guys, etc. You’ll find that statistically going back many decades.

surprise, surprise, we lost our military to those who hate this country, why would anyone support that by joining them, unless they felt that way too, fortunately, few do. The problem is at the top, not at the rank and file membership level. These people with all these stars are the problem, not only in the military, but also their bosses at the civilian level who hate this Nation and whose orders these "fine" soldiers blindly follow, just like those who blindly followed Adolph and Joseph Stalin during WWII. We learn absolutely nothing from the past do we.I thought real soldiers didn't have to follow unlawful orders from people who's intent it is to destroy our Nation and it's preparedness to defend it from our enemies. So why do they, I wonder . Seems all the good ones can't stomach any longer what they've turned this once proud military into. Shameful it's come to this, and the blame has been grossly misidentified , do to incompetance or treasoness compliance.

I'm an Air Force vet of 25 years with another 20 years civil service also with the Air Force. I watched the decline of standards beginning in 2001. Weak leadership and a loss in focus on our core values. Senior officers caving to the woke few. New WOKE Chief of staff and a WOKE Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force sucking up to the WOKE minority. It simply is not the Air Force I knew. The core values are nothing more than words any more. Very sad and disappointing.

I loved it when we chanted the "Airman's creed" and I laughed my ass off in the middle of my last all-call when we said "I will never leave an Airman behind". Those words are absolute lies.

Navy vet here. I'd go further back to the early 90's. Once the Cold War ended, that mission vacuum got filled with 10 years of this nonsense. GWOT provided a 20-year respite but now that's over...here we are again.

How they can sit and say DEI is not having an effect is amazing. Adam Corolla has a great line. "Are they stupid or liars?"
