- The old Xiaomi M365 does not have a proper display screen that shows you speed and other information. You can solve this problem by installing a new Xiaomi M365 Pro display screen.
But it is not just the end of the story, it also upgrades your Xiaomi M365 to the Xiaomi M365 Pro to some extent (it is still not the same as the Pro, but more powerful after upgrade though!). We upgraded two of our Xiaomi M365, one white and one black.

Hello, good job. But I read somewhere that a user complains that he can not use the "cruise control" feature after the pro dash upgrade. Have you ever tested it on your scooter? Does it really go off after the upgrade? Thanks...

Does the Firmware flash depend on the software the scooter had with the old board ? Or is the firmware solely stored on the display pcb ? Will this work if I have 1.5.2 on my scooter before I change the display ?
And is the battery level display correct ? I can imagine the Pro having bigger battery so are the numbers on the standard M365 correct after this change ?

Yes this works I tried this on the latest 1.5.5 version and then what I did was change my region to China and use the mi home to update the firmware and the pro dashboard was working

Actually I just installed the display and working fine, without fw upgrade. Strange but just had a test run, and it does cruise mode, can switch between 2 modes, ECO and S as before.

Hi there,
I need some help and advice with getting my m365 converted to m365 pro (replacing the display and flashing the firmware. I saw several videos, but when I checked the version of my firmware for DRV, BLE and BMS I found them being quite different from the ones that seem to appear on this video. My versions are as follows: DRV Ver 551, BMS Ver 551 and BLE Ver 1100. There's also a difference in the Scooter name: mine is MIScooter0598. It gets recognized by the official Xiaomi application as well as the M365_downG and the m365 Tools. I have ordered a Pro Display and when I tried disassembling the current board display on my scooter, I noticed that the pinout/cable endings of the 3 groups of cables seemed to be the other way round: i.e. if the new display had them as male endings, the currently installer one would have them as female, hence I couldn't install the display as such without having to cut the wires and re-solder them onto the existing cable endings. So, having explained what I have encountered, could anybody, please, answer the following questions:
1. Why would the pinout/cable endings be different?
2. Would cutting and re-soldering work? From a technical perspective, if I got the wires right it should, but I m just wondering why the video shows a direct replacement without any modifications needed and I have to go down this route?
3. Bearing in mind my current firmware versions (see above) and the Scooter Model, do you think I should be able to use the m365_downG tool an oatch the firmware versions to the ones for the m365 pro scooter successfully?

I flashed my m365 with 4 point display into Turbo mod (config: BLE=0.7.3, DRV=STM32 /1.5.5, BMS=1.2.6, not sure i have to re-flash again after after the display is change for the pro version ?tnx

so after you put the pro display you flash the ORIGINAL 1.5.5 firmware? This way u keep the eABS and KERS intact?
my xiaomi m365 dont conect well the app m365_downg , I am able to connect via bluetooth but when i request "ask info" No response please if you have answer i will happy to hear

You can't, as there is no custom firmware for the Pro version yet.

Thanks for this tutorial. I have done this however my battery life is now about half what it used to be. I used to get 23 km and now I just did a test with this firmware and the Pro dashboard and I got just less than 14 km. I rode in a similar way. This is terrible for me. Is it possible to get similar performance as previously? I just want it to be similar to before, but with the new dashboard.

you don't need the new app or firmware. instal new dash, go to mi home app (normal app for scooter), un-instal scooter and re-pair scooter.. sorted.
Will you still have the two driving modes?
@@Icethacoldest im sure the 'new modes' shown on the new dash aren't the truth anyway. you have energy saving on both formats of acceleration release and by double clicking the button too

I have took these steps and my speed is flashing 55 in red and I have a red spanner flashing does anyone know how to stop this i have tried most things

M365 pro has a 300w motor m365 has a 250w motor m365 pro has more torque and speed if you add custom firmware to m365 it will go faster then a pro version but a pro version with custom firmware will go faster then an original with custom firmware
Not much custom firmware going on for Pro.
Are you sure? Maybe the watts are just downregulated by software, so it's possible that there are actually the same motors inside.
With the normal version it drains the battery a lot quicker

I got 2 of these upgrades. But none of the plugs suit either of my M365 scooters. Money wasted.

Youre not upgrading your scooter to pro, youre just upgrading the dashboard, pro still has better batteries and better motor

if you flash the firmware without changing the sceen, there may be an incompatibilty. The scooter may be under standard mode, so the speed is 20km/h.
