Can you do a video about Fischer Random variants on smaller boards where only a subset of pieces are chosen but other Chess960 requirements are satisfied (eg King between 2 rooks and bishops of different colours).
I ask because it seems that due to the various possibilities in starting piece sets, you get more permutations than you'd naively expect. Of course for a fixed piece set the amount of starting positions grows steeply with the size of the board, but this doesn't imply a steep drop in the amount of starting positions as we shrink the board if we don't have all of the pieces present on some boards but not others.
I'm generally interested in the idea of enough starting positions to make opening theory difficult to know but not so many so as to make opening theory infeasible. As in somewhere between traditional Chess and Freestyle.

An interesting thing is now one bishop is stronger (in this case the dark-squared bishops because there are more dark squares)
