this reminds me of that time I was framed for vehicular manslaughter and imprisoned in a max security prison in Florida, and my dad who could stop time had to come help me escape from the maniacal priest trying to kill the inmates and take their soul abilities
No need for even the knights. Just keep trying to take the pieces, and eventually Martin will let you take some of them, opening the path for the last roll
I have another challage for you. Play with Martin. Give him normal pices, and give yourself a lot of queens. Now try to make Martin win. I think it will be harder.
Am I the only one who always laugh when Nelson play against Martin? Anyway, next time we should have 2 knights + lone king vs 1 pawn + lone king checkmate with Nelson's robot (yes, we need to see Nelson vs Nelson bot!)
JAILBREAK VARIANT: GM Martin sets up his guards, while Nelson, the player, attempts to jailbreak to the first rank. Different guards, different maps. He must escape the prison in 50 or less moves.
Idea Vs Martin. You have to move the same type of piece twice in a row. Eg. If you move a pawn on move 1, then you also have to move a pawn (any pawn) on move 2.
to change up the last one to make it a little more interesting, you have a setup in the corner with the black king adjacent to 2 rooks but they cannot move due to all the dark square bishops. The goal should be to reach the 8th rank instead of 1st because you can have pawns on the 1st or second rank to stop him with pawns infront of them undefended to act like a wall you have to break through. Same idea where there are 1 or 2 light bishops you have to be careful of.
Hey Nelson! This new video was awesome! I have a challenge for you. It's probably not gonna happen but if it does I'll be very happy! You make a wheel, and depending on which action it says capture move or check, you have to do it. If your unable to do it in 1 move, you lose the game. Edit: the comments were pretty helpful for changes, you can make the move 3 or 2 times to make it easier Edit 2: OH CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 200K SUB COUNT WOOOO!
Make it so there are- Numbers 1-8 if it lands on those you must move and land on that rank, if you can’t, you MUST make a blunder Letters A-H, if it lands on these move and land on that file, if you can’t you must make a blunder Capture, if you can’t capture you must make a blunder Check, if you can’t check you must make a blunder Blunder, if it lands on this you must blunder The first 5 moves can be done without spinning the wheel to give you a chance to make every type of move possivle
the challenges are hard because the opponent doesn't do the right moves. it's just a random thing that doesn't depend on you. i think you should go against harder bots but easier positions.
Have you ever played the variant where black gets all their pieces but why only gets the their king and for central pawns, BUT white gets two moves during their turn instead of 1? (And the king can't end the turn in check, not it's move) Very fun, different, quite scary for black
1:08 This pawn said to Martin “Ey dude let me attack.” Martin says “Dude shut the hell up and let me move the rook.” Same exact same happens to the rest of the levels that’s how stupid Martin is. Martin rn:😢
Chess but their is snowing on the board so your king is not allowed to get out of his castle behind pawns. Queen also need a castle in opposite side king castled. your pieces are not allowed to move to snowy light coloured square. And if the touch on light coloured square you will lose that piece because of cold the piece which land on light coloured square will di only time they can stay there is in the beginning and light coloured bishop need to stay inside castle of your king or queen
Interesting concept, but ultimately comes down to when Martin decides to let you through. Not a lot you can really do to influence the game using your skill. Suggestion for another Martin challenge: Hand and Brain, but you use a dice as the brain. 1: Pawn 2: Knight 3: Bishop 4: Rook 5: Queen 6: King Depending on how hard you want to make it, you can choose to do different things if the rolled piece isn't present or has no legal moves. Easy mode: You choose any piece Medium mode: Re-roll until you get a valid option. Hard mode: Must use king. Ultra mode: You lose. (obviously need to make some allowances for move 1)
To be honest the first one is harder then the second because the first you have to get past rooks and the second you cound go through the middle of bishops(Im not thinking it al the way throught feel free to disagree)
Hi! Play against Martin with the Wheel challenge. Every move you must spin the wheel to find out what move to make. If you can’t make a move that the wheel says, you MUST make a blunder as a penalty, or resign. Make it so there are- Numbers 1-8 if it lands on those you must move and land on that rank, if you can’t, you MUST make a blunder Letters A-H, if it lands on these move and land on that file, if you can’t you must make a blunder Capture, if you can’t capture you must make a blunder Check, if you can’t check you must make a blunder Blunder, if it lands on this you must blunder The first 5 moves can be done without spinning the wheel to give you a chance to make every type of move possible.

Lol.
relatable
I hate when that happens
This happened to me last week, but Imo the worst part was when gravity just started not gravitying.
Yeah it happens all the time
This feels like something id do at age 10, just roleplaying a chess prison escape.
Same, I remember roleplaying in chess when I was a kid lol

Sayme and i remember me and my cousin making bases and the king was the dad the queen was the mom and etc
Stalemate is the perfect prison, you can't escape and therefore lose.
Chess: the tactical stealth game
I like how the rooks are kinda like guard towers like an actual prison.
Im fairly certain that was the point
I also love how the rooks move, you know,.like actual guard towers
I... dont think guard towers move
Unless you're in Ohio or some shii
@Unkn0wn3rr0r really?? guard towers don’t move?? it’s almost like that was his whole joke!
Rooks are litterally building so it's a good point
Try again with 2 knights only, its mainly based on luck cause you have to take the rooks hoping that Martin doesn't capture back. I did it first try.
Nice
No need for even the knights. Just keep trying to take the pieces, and eventually Martin will let you take some of them, opening the path for the last roll
Martin: *brings 2 rooks to the 1st rank*
Nelsi: 👁👄👁
I want to see an expert level bot try to escape these prisons while you control the “guard” pieces trying to checkmate it.
The material advantage would make it way too easy for him to win
no like they get like 8 queens to make it fair
I have another challage for you. Play with Martin. Give him normal pices, and give yourself a lot of queens. Now try to make Martin win. I think it will be harder.
easy
@@NexdNameyeah it will because he can just blunder everything
It’s a good idea but it is actually easy

martin wins in case of stalemate, he stopped you from escaping.

Congratulations on 200,000 subscription 👏!! Well done Nelson!!
WOW, with my dad we made almost exactly the same variant the only difference is that we called it King Escape, and we have knights and bishops !
I think Stockfish is really struggling to evaluate the position at 0:37
Black is up 14 pawns, 4 rooks and 3 bishops, but still thinks white is +0.6
ikr
White can keep going same way and it will be draw because of 50 move rule
We: well, end of the vid!

Bonnie and Clyde! The king and queen in the "high security" prison and both have to make it to the other side!
Chess vibes "I gotta get my king to the other side without getting checkmated."
Stockfish "Your journey is over before it even began."
Super fun, we should do more of those. Think I'm gonna try some of them myself xD

a king and a knight with that ruleset beats black
The first mistake the prison did was hiring Martin as the warden.
Congrats Nelson for 200k subscribers!
I just thought of a cool name for the all bishop jail or puzzle. The Checkmaze! It literally just popped in my head as soon as i saw it.
Thats actually good
Ok that thumbnail is just them making u rage
Bro the second one got my brain exploding as he would of been checkmated already without breathing
How about you vs Martin, but every time he captures a piece, he gets a queen
I think this is what happens after getting checkmated
For the bishops challenge, maybe if you fill every single dark square with a bishop so he has to only move his light square ones? idk
1:08 This pawn said to Martin
“Ey dude let me attack.”
Martin says
“Dude shut the hell up and let me move the rook.”
Same exact same happens to the rest of the levels that’s how stupid Martin is.
Martin rn:😢
if stalemate i think martin wins because he successfully trapped you in jail
Hi Nelson, amazing video i want to see more of these prison videos :)
Stalemate is when you have nowhere to move eventhough your not in check
Stalemate is when your not in check but anywhere you move you can get check mated so it's a stalemate
he knows, he is a nm (national master) he meant he did not know if he completed the challenge or not.
I think you could of had him with just the knights if you had considered on the bishops.
try playing against Martin with only a king and 1 pawn, and work your way up until you win
What a briliancy of a concept
Stalemate is when you can’t move any pieces and move to any square for beginners
When Nelson says do I win I said no you don’t because u still in jail
Challenge: Beat Martin while never being ahead in material
your refusal to take the pawn is just

how did you put pawns on the 8th rank? When i do it, it says the position is illegal.
give martin 8 kings, so you have to take down each king
The last one u just need to place more bishops so that he cant use the dark space bishops
How do you set a custom position with the pawns on the 8th rank?
If this was a French king, he’d get beheaded.
In the second challenge it would be very funny if u manage to checkmate Martin imao
This variant of chess looks good and fun.
How to fight other bots in set up mode than maxium tell me pls.
Putting in a queen and you got yourself a French joke
Pawns at the end feel cursed and illegal
Try to make at least 30 blunders against Martin without him taking advantage of them.
That's creative. Nice video as always
I am sure one day martin will be a great chess player
5:14 THE ROOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKK
I realy like the the martin chalenges
The kngiht is also useful because yucan make martin keep moving his peices without moving theking
I think the second game should've been 2 knights and 2 pawns for white!
Chess post-credit screen after checkmate
Have a game with Martin and give him 10 rooks and you take all pieces other than rooks
The question is who in their right mind hired Martin for the job
You're pretty creative ngl 💸💨
Jail break chess
New game mode
POV: shotgun king after he gets arrested for mass murder
The high security prison stockfish says 0.6 advantage to white
A6 with your king would be out of range of the bishops
How do you set up your own custom position like this?
Question, Are The Pawns Just Walls? None Of Them Seem To Be Able To Capture
Cmon you just troll Martin that’s the purpose of those games
Yo love your content :)
Martin wins with a stalemate. Makes it fair

do more of this lol
what blunt object do you think martin got hit in the head with when he was younger
Can pawn take king? Cause if he can how he survived even is easy prison he could have got check mated with rook but he moved rook
