When I saw Hannah on the cello during you acoustic gigs I have been absolutely transfixed by what she adds to the music I've been listening to for decades. Magical.
I have seen them 7 times live, every show left me with a smile but sore muscles from jumping aroung like an idiot. Sadly can't go to live shows anymore but would recommend them to anyone, you will not be disappointed.
I've seen them 6 times myself and yes the shows are amazing ⚡ I saw them at the academy in Manchester and the entire place from front to back was bouncing 🍺🍻 my brother went to see Mark in barley near pendle hill last weekend at a small village hall and he said it was fantastic 😜
Each and every member is a legend. New and old. Seen many a live show and a couple of drunk in publics. They never ever fail to knock it out the park. I love the acoustic versions as well. Thank you for all your work guys and gals. The world is a brighter place because of you all.
Seen them many times in small venues, can't beat it, and kind of glad not many people have heard of them because they're my band no one else's 😃 but they do deserve greater recognition
Been following the Levellers since 1991. Seen them over 30 times and Mark solo 4 times. Never seen a bad show. Will hopefully be at Cambridge gig in March 😊
Great little vid, not seen them since 2019 for various reasons but the "we the collective" stuff is brilliant and so clever with arrangement's. Hopefully get to a gig in spring
Raevennan Husbandes is one of the best musicians I've ever seen live. The joy of playing is always written all over her face. I was so happy when I saw she was joining the Levs for these shows.
I've followed you since day dot, feeling old now boy's 🤣. A great little video thank you 🙏🏻. Safe travels sending love, peace and good energy always, your the best 🙏🏻❤️
The levs are the soundtrack of my life from seeing them in the early 90s blow the roof of the lead mill in Sheffield, smashing it at Glastonbury to their amazing accoustic set at Buxton opera house...,. Fucking fantastic!!!!!
So do most of the original true honest fans, probably not likely when the levs have totally sold out promoting this absolute rubbish. Lazy lost for ideas band ruining all the great stuff they have done. Disappointing 🤮
@@diablo66oh bore off. What band do you know 30+ years later that has no record company promoting them relentlessly, tours continually, all managed themselves and still with a huge, loyal following and attracts new fans. They work so hard as a business and are also running a massively successful festival as well as a recording studio - lazy? My big fat arse. Your response is lazy.
It should be law to see this wonderful band electric or acoustic in ones lifetime. Thank you for so many memories..Jez is the only one I've never met.!!! Which I hope to in March
If you want to see the Levellers like they normally are, where do you have go? I'm considering Fairfield Halls in Croydon but the gig is billed as the Levellers Collective, which I'm guessing is the acoustic stuff. I want to hear the old plugged in band.
Been to many concert to see these guys wish they were a little closer in the south east(edit: Just seen they was close but i missed it, sad times man) I would gets some tickets to a sit down.

Such admiration for the levellers. A collective indeed.

Ah, the last days of winter seem so far away, fortunately Levellers make every day seem like summer 🤪

Granby Halls, Leicester, 1995. The Levellers at their best, I thought. They just keep getting better. Love that you try different things. ❤
Feeling this deep archaic energy immediately. Just music and that connection to the soul.
Seen the band a few times over the years, shame they're not getting out of England this time.

They have shows through the year. Usually winter tour is all electric. And a few shows through the year electric. 😊
Is the version of Carry me, right at the start of this video, available?
On the new album bio.to/Levellers
Great - sounds amazing. Looking forward to it!
Amazing, is there a recording of the hackney show available?
