In my opinion he is not the best out there but sure is unique with the groove, rythm and sound... probably one of my favorites in the metal genre
I'm the most comfortable playing in the style of Fieldy on any 5 string bass I've played. You have too appreciate what he does and what he brought too the table for other bass players around the world--a new sound and way of playing. Just love how he plays. This one's not my favorite Fieldy bass song but it's it's a good one of course
It's going to suck not seeing him with korn when I see them at upheaval but I'm glad he's taking the time he needs to get better. I'll have to make it up another year when they come around with him whenever he returns

About to read the book got the life by fieldly. Read both of Heads, and are a must read. (no doubt fieldly's is also).Especially for anyone who thinks it's too late to change yourself, even in unbelievably bad circumstances. Head quit arguably the best band in the world at its height, those guys were bigger than life to me as a kid. Left everything for one simple word, Love. For his daughter, (my daughter is 2 and a half so I can relate to that) for himself, and look what it got him...Everything! Everytime you see him or listen to him talk, he seem so at peace with life no matter what's said or done. God is Love and eternal strength, and wish I had them both every second of everyday day. Hard to find God sometimes though. I'm the same as Brain used to be, probably 20 years for me easy. Searching and hoping for God or Jesus to give me that magic touch. Just can't seem to find it.... and btw fieldly's could be the G.O.A.T at bass.

but still, you can see from watching the video that they are pretty much exact, sure there will be some mistakes but when you play that fast its kinda hard to see whats going on lol

@JackCarver10 and from the bass track (on your page) they are pretty much the same. but you cant really say someone who uses tabs is shit because they use them, they may be just new to it....it takes time to be able to do it by ear.

I think you never knew that I was talking about the DVD and the tabs, they are clearly wrong in the chorus. When he actually slaps on the low A string it shows some D string action all the way through, it fucking sucks. And so many idiots just don't recognize it.
The drummer isnt david silvaria he is with his own band now
Davis was kind of around for this album, he was in a couple videos, it was after thi album he stopped showing up completely so they had to cut him off.

Yes, you are completely right on the tabs thing. But come back a few years later and listen to that song being slapped on the low A string, no the D string... they are morons, even tabbed Munky's Powerchords wrong.
@cameronj279 takes time to do it by ear? Dude I do all my music by ear, have done it since I picked up my guitar for the first time, since I caressed the smooth fretboard of my fretless bass for the first time... And I don't even read tabs. I don't need to either.
But yeah... there're lots of really cool musicians who use tabs so sayint tab users are shit is pretty ignorant.
