Between you, you have some great finds for the day. That mossy looking one Benny found looks really interesting as does that thunder egg core you picked up at the beginning. I was wondering why you picked up a big chunk of what looked like basalt until you decided to let Benny have a shower with it, a nice little crack up. Looking at Benny just after I think at some stage he is going to return the favour. Benny is the master of understatement, when you made the comment about sitting a candle on the piece with the skin of Chalcedon, a simple mmmmmmm is all he replied, 😂😂😂. Jesse!! some beautiful finds this week. I think my favorite was around 10:10. Benoit is such a chill, cool guy. I too would like spending time with him. So zen. It's amazing to see just how high the water was a couple of weeks/months ago. Amazing. I find many agates with the "carnelian" along the edge. I to legitmately believe that the orange banding along the edge of some agates (usually the more weathered ones) is a function of oxidation; aka rusting. I have a number of examples in my own collection. Loved the thunderegg bits you turned up as well. I hope to go digging for some spectacular t-eggs this summer myself. What a great thing to come across before I go to work for the last day to finish up my week. Take care of yourself. So nice to see your smiling face :)

Mammillary is when they're less-than hemispherical.
