And dude! That big waterline one was a Thunder egg core! A “vertebrae”. I didn’t realise it out there when you found it but dude! Super rad find! It came from Rhyolite but the Rhyolite has been completely knocked off of it!

Me too! New zealand has always been my far away dream vaca (live in PNW US) but now I'm turning the dream in my mind to an Australia/ NZ combo mainly Rockhounding trip! Which especially makes sense if I'm gonna go that far on a plane since I HATE to fly. I even would rather go there than Hawaii when my partner and I finally get a honeymoon after 9 yrs together. However he would want to kill me if I made OUR honeymoon about rockhounding 😂. But knowing him he would indulge me and still accompanying me on a hunt or 2. It's awhile b4 that's a reality but a woman can dream...

Ohhhh! I love what you just said! Little spoiler for a few videos time... we came back to this creek and I’m always saying... “oh is that blue” the whole time and then almost at the very end of the day I found the biggest bluest piece of chalcedony that I ever have found. Kinda like the creek heard me. ✨😉😉

To be honest, I know the fever that opal can cause, it’s one of my favs, I’m just lucky I don’t have too much of it out here so I can still appreciate the beauty of the simple stuff. Haha. Oh and no I haven’t found that type or even size before, but I’ve found a piece of precious opal with colours out in the very same creek. Only it was no bigger than a couple of pieces of rice haha. I’ll see if I can find the video and leave you a link here. 🤟

OK... Well, didn't see that coming... Jesse, my Brother, you have just made a bit of history. It has occurred to me that I just passed over the Live coverage of the NFL College Draft to watch this video, I haven't got a clue who the Chicago Bears drafted after the first round but I know what color the butterfly on your thumb was. For me to put anything before the Draft is a First. And, not the least bit surprising, it was worth every second!

My Son Raymond bought me a bunch of gold prospecting equipment a few years ago and I've been lucky to find a little gold over here in Canada. 🦋. @@Rookie_Rockounding - work was crazy. I do payroll and had like 10 client's worth, plus a new client setup. I worked through lunch and was just wasted by the time 1pm rolled around. Came home and laid down. Felt much better today and got some good beach scores and then cleaned a whole bunch and did some cooking. Thanks for checking in, friend! ❤

Hiya Jessie, hey what great finds dude, that's kinda what I been telling you, about opals. I have lots and lots of opals they don't always have color play. But it doesn't really matter, because they are all beautiful in the same. But you found 🔮 crystal opals and you can still do things with them, it's not always about selling them and making money off of them, it's the Passion of finding beautiful stones that drives us to the creeks and making something special for us to look at, or give it to our loved ones.
