Its 30 and 31 for the g wagon. My mistake guys apparently i need mark’s glasses. Ground clearance however is absolutely correct 9.5 inches and it can ford 27.5 inches of water. A wrangler has 9.7 of ground clearance in the base trim.

The new M5 is a car equivalent of a whole yacht. To think, an S class from 2014 weighs a whole 990 lbs. less than the new M5 is what's hilarious to me and that's a flagship luxury saloon. If we're being fair, Mercedes quotes 5606 lbs. for the new S class, making it just 216 lbs. more heavier than the new M5. Even F-150s weigh less depending on configurations. No matter in what way its sliced, it's a penalty for the new M5 regardless. A Mid-sized performance saloon shouldn't be weighing needlessly heavier than most pickups and flagship luxury saloons. It's too darn heavy for its own good.
Glad I watched this vid, it really helped me realize what I truly want in a luxury off roader. Las Vegas escort-esque red seats, a utility ladder that gets narrower on the way up to load my Tumi luggage, & room for colored match yeti cooler for my Kombucha Hard Tea. Take my money ASAP.

I take mine off road frequently (idaho mountains) but not doing anything too crazy. mine is a 2022 (bought new) with 81,000 miles already 😀. Land on the rear axle in a G-wagon? You'll laugh and move on. Land on the rear independent of a Crosstrek? Might be instantly undrivable if you do it relatively hard. And you'll crush the exhaust, which is under the independent rear suspension. I have landed on the tow hitch, rear axle, and front suspension hard on various 4Runners, and nothing ever happened. I wouldn't expect that in a Softroader crossover, as cool as the Crosstrek Wilderness is.
It's like the body roll is supposed ro be there due to the fact that it's a heavy fat luxury offroader and it needs to move it's fat ass weight around and keep it's rich passengers comfortable (wish america got like a poverty spec for offroaders)
I love this truck. But if you can't afford one, the next best thing is an Ineos Grenadier, granted, it's slower & less luxurious, but still an impressive off-roader box on wheels.

This is usually seen on urban roads and cities. Have never seen it on anything but pavement. It's one of those SUVs that a rich person shows off they can afford it and nothing else.

Or for 1/3 of the price you can get a GX460 with much less problems (Mercedes electronics are problematic) or today a GX550 which is even better
