Love you. No Homo. 😎
Love comic books. They’re another store of value that you control. Just like bitcoin but completely untraceable. 😊
why so expensive
I think he's lying about the prices and Also he just kept saying 10,000 dollars 10,000 dollars on everything
NG means “No Grade”, which is assigned to comics that are either missing the entire cover, or one half or more of the interior pages, or both. It may also be assigned to comics that are only being verified as authentic. So considering that, the one in the video isn’t worth anywhere near $6 mil.
Hahahahaha bro is pulling prices straight outta his ass
Lmao, I couldn't help but to laugh during most of the video
Right!
also in their culture haggling is standard, this might have something to do with it. I've done dealings with a lot of Pakistani and Arab Men and they always do this. If they are buying from you, they lowball you and if you are buying from them they ask for almost double what they actually want for the item. You're supposed to haggle them down to like 40% or something. Ofc if you just accept their price they will think you're not a good business man. It's actually good etiquette to haggle in their culture (if you are an outsider you should always haggle if you want to be taken seriously)
That batman movie comic I have 8 copies I paid 50 cents a piece
@@usa-pu9mh if you really have that I'm willing to pay $1000 USD for 4 of them
Don’t get me wrong, this guy has a nice collection but there is no way that what is in his safe is worth $33 million. The Superman 1 that sold for $6 million was a near-mint copy, his has a reproduction cover and is incomplete. It’s still an extremely valuable book, but not $6 million. Additionally, just because you say that you wouldn’t sell something for $1 million dollars does not make that item worth that amount. I could say I wouldn’t sell my couch for $1 million but that doesn’t mean my couch is suddenly worth a million bucks. Most of the books in his safe are worth several hundred to maybe a couple thousand dollars. I guess it’s easy to pass off the illusion that your collection is worth $33 million when the person you’re showing it to has no idea the value of comics
I believe he said he ensured it for 30 million not that it has a fair value of that amount, nonetheless i agree with you its too much
Facts bro. These guys are UA-camrs, it's just pure entertainment. Everything is rented and prices are over exaggerated.
THAT collection is barely worth 1/2 a million....to be honest..
Funko Pops...sorry, that stuff ain't worth shit either. Most of them books are pretty low grade.....Maybe he has 400 grand in there...tops.
I agree
I came here to see the comments on his prices😂
Me too!
I think you speak for all comic collectors that visited this video. Haha. This guy is on something for sure. Haha.
I don't know what is worse: hearing these ridiculous prices or watching someone in this high value vault playing around with his coffee cup ready to mess up the all thing...
This video and hearing his prices/values are comedy GOLD! That Superman #1 isn't even a complete copy due to the cover and 1st wrap being color copies as stated on the CGC label. He would probably be doing good to get $100k for it...certainly no $6 million. LOL!!!
This got me thinking. Maybe he was trying to fool carl, since carl doesn't know anything about it but has the money
Click bait...it worked
All of his prices were way off i agree 🤣
yep. Overpricing the shit out of everything.
Yes, yes yes anybody that knows anything about comic books they realize that Superman 1 that this guy has in his Vault it’s not worth nearly close to what he thinks it is. Obviously it’s still worth a lot of money. There are only 165 copies that exist. Thank God I have a copy, but my copy is worth more than his book and my copy is restored no trimming and it’s a 5.0.
The “Dubai value” markup on these books is insane!
Good job most people in Dubai are insanely rich
This guy is in for a serious reality check.
Big time.....that dude needs to sober up....
For sure ! In the age of information ignorance is a choice !! 😂
@@karinaelias6732 got damn right
Prices are all over the place but I like this guy. He really only uses value to bridge the disconnect of interest in non collectors. It could be worth what ever . But you can’t replicate a lot of it and he has the ability to just give it away.
Kirby didn't create spider-man, dude. It was Ditko and Lee
Well Kirby had first dibs on drawing Him, but Stan didn't think it was right for the character and brought on Ditko.
Ditko is credited with creating the character though because he drew Spidey like we know him. Imagine if we'd gotten the Kirby Spider-Man, would be a totally different character.
If Kirby got to do Spider-Man we would most likely have gotten the Silver Spider from the story he wrote in 1953. Story would be completely but suite might look similar. The AF15 cover was original a promotional drawing of the Silver Spider he pitched. Supposedly all the was changed was the builds and the guy. I’d imagine the suite design was slightly different but no records of the original images exist.
@@AdmiralShipwreck yeah, I heard he drew him too buff and Lee wanted a him to be more slight (although spidey is still ripped I guess)
ditko basically just drew himself though, ha ha. it worked though.
That’s what tipped me off about this dude lol
Simply love you vlogs Carl . Very interesting the comics , cars. Thanks a million for your efforts to show us interesting thing ❤.
So much disinformation. I love the part where he tried to cover up the grade on the Superman 1 😂
Please never change song at last of ur videos,i can walk through fire,i can walk on water, Love it
It's only 5 to 6 times the price you paid for the crypto punk but you get soo many more cartoon drawings. It's a no brainer Carl.
He has an impressive collection for sure but those price values he is quoting in the vault are a far cry from FMV.
💯
Those prices are about as far out as the planet Krypton.......basically, he's living in "Bizarro World".....
i dont think he gives a fahrk about FMV
If i had a time machine for one day, i would go to a comic book store at certain times and buy all those comics 😂
Nah cause Fr
Why, if you had that ability you would just play the lottery and get a billion straight away
@@smith9808 well if we’re going to get so exquisite I would collect all historical chart data and make many many investments that I will know will be profitable like getting a bunch of bitcoins when they’re free, buying google and Facebook stocks and shit like that.
You are amazing man!!
love your vids
You have my favorite channel Carl. I really like how always show us new, cool stuff!
Proud of you man
Looks like you took advantage of him. He was so nice and you were so interested
This guy is clearly a hypeman, the door isnt even a real vault…but if he can get more casuals more power to him
Haha the prices he is throwing out for the graded Pokémon cards 😂😂😂
I literally laughed sooooo loud when he quoted the amazing rare jirachi 9 for $200 😂😂 you’ll be lucky to get $20 for that 🤣🤣🤣
Bot
its also funny bc the "6 million dollar" comic is actually not even worth 50000 dollars because it is incomplete and no grade
carl we want more vlogs around the world .........
Good content ❤
Legend!
Rashid is a cool guy he is a bit eccentric and likes to show off but ultimately a good dude. i lived in Abu Dhabi and would go to Dubai every other weekend to go to his shop called speedy comics and his cousins shop called comic stop. we were all buddies and would hang out and bs for hours. but I will say it helps when you are related to a sheik and have millions of disposable income. i told Rashid when he let me in the vault before the store had its official opening that he didn't have the first appearance of superman (which is the most expensive comic ever) what he had was superman's first comic series and yes it is worth a lot but not that much. he just smiled and talked about something else. but again Rashid is awesome and kind so its hard to get mad at the guy.
Wow ❗🤯 great episode ❗💯🔥👍
Bros all white fit in the studio is mad lit ong
woww action comics 1!!
That comic book collection is insane! 🦸♂
Keep it up carl
Love of attraction is very powerful ❤
Thank you Carl for Providing such imagination. One day I will Complete My imagination
Law of attraction
Can't believe you were in there with a coffee cup in your hand 😂
I need to start selling my comics at these prices lol
THIS book is not worth this much. I love you Carl. Get your facts. Please sir. It's not even 0.5 grade.
What a expression way u talking way u behave like super human being wonderful god bless you from India
Insane collection 🥶🥶🥶🥶
carl the guy put his thumb on the NG rating of the book . it means : NG - This label stands for "No Grade" and is assigned to comics that are either missing the entire cover, or one half or more of the interior pages, or both.
lol I was wondering what "NG" meant. I don't collect physical comics these days, I guessed "NG" might have been "Near Good", which I was amused by since I seem to recall that "Good" isn't really that good, and he seemed to be saying that issue was worth millions.
NG means “No Grade”, which is assigned to comics that are either missing the entire cover, or one half or more of the interior pages, or both. It may also be assigned to comics that are only being verified as authentic. So considering that, the one in the video isn’t worth anywhere near $6 mil.
thanks for the laugh but that guy was WAY off on those prices lol
Sounds like my LCS when I try to buy something!
He is right about history being in it. Signed books are special they are like living books.
Worth more unsigned. No. Not any longer.
"I cant beleve something made of paper is worth so much" dude you litterally got rich off something that has no physical form
Fantastic 👍👍❤️
please make video on your life how you are when you doing job in supermarket then how you turn up and start investing and make some good money
Lol I got a good laugh out of watching this vid lol 😂
We live in interesting times where one man's trash is another man's treasure. I can't imagine myself even paying a penny for these items.
Carl you G your bro seemed a bit upset when you said about you wanted to see the comic lol he wanted a nice chin wag lol love Carl brooo
💖💖💖💖❤️❤️❤️ nice video
Good video 👍💙
That oil money is crazy 🤣
NG=Now Guy, as in "Now Guy, you are outta your damn mind with those prices!" This guy is the greatest!
The owner definitely doesn’t know anything about collectable lol 😂
Thats crazy
6 million dollars or a No Grade book? Er.... That will be a firm no.
that collector totally insane!!!
a bunch of rare comics stored very neatly and safely 👍
Woooooow!! 😮😮😮
As long as there are people searching for a hero , the issue of the loyal hero remains important. There are those who see the hero as an individual (I am your father or superman ), and there are those who see heroism as a collective work that is not limited to anyone.
The debate will remain.
Your friend Rashid is amazing too man…
Walks with a coffee while holding million dollar comics. Could spill on them.
Finallyyy
Just awesome
Real comic collectors know he is pulling prices right out of his ass, there's no way anyone in their right mind would pay that much. Still a great collection tho.
I feel like that guy doesn't really "know" comic books, but has tons of money and goes and buys what he thinks are the most expensive books just to say he has them. Even whenever he is asked why a book is worth so much, all his answers are "it's 1942" "It's 1938" "It's signed". Very generic answers with no insight or real understanding, but more of a showing off, look at my expensive books- collector. And just like you stated, the fact that all his prices he tosses out, are way off base, indicates that.
wow amazing store and collection and he give you one amazing gift too (-;
I love Carl❤
Good to see these American creations are appreciated all over the world
Nice collection, but WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THOSE PRICES???
Dubai everything need looked expensive & exclusive 😂
9:44 “it’s impossible to get a 9.8 michael Keaton, it’s impossible”.
Me: searches eBay, finds four 9.8 Michael keatons 😂
Can’t wait to see the comic book in the office
Carl acts like he’s never seen a movie before 😂
Oh god, when he said that the death of superman was 10 000 dollars i almost fainted. I mean it is a important superman book, however, the print count on that one was enormous and it is worth maybe 100 dollars signed or something in and around that area.
His Superman #1 Comic Book >>>>> CGC Conserved Grade Comic book. NG grade comic book. Cover and 1st wrap are "color copies" as stated on the CGC label. Other restorations include: pieces reattached, interior reinforced, centerfold reinforced well. Label also shows: NG, slightly brittle pages. The dude would have to pay me to take that comic book off his hands!
Agreed! NG means “No Grade”, which is assigned to comics that are either missing the entire cover, or one half or more of the interior pages, or both. It may also be assigned to comics that are only being verified as authentic. So considering that, the one in the video isn’t worth anywhere near $6 mil.
i was surprised that he didnt have the 1940 superman Gum card set.
I have a SUPER RARE Spider-man #7 variant with the introduction of Spider-boy. One of a kind. I'll sell it for $6.1 million. And that Death of Superman comic...the wooden case is worth more than the comic inside it. AND...good on you for sniffing that shoe. Christopher Lloyd foot sweat FTW!
Man our world..i feel so cheap now 😂
Bro got gifted the worst graded book 😂
Bringing that drink into the vault ...
Not sure if this is a joke but those comic book prices are WAY over value.
They sure are
Not really because superman 1 1939 original print on 2022 was value to 5.3 million dollars. The only thing was overpriced was the action comics 44 because nothing in online or cgc said that comic values more than superman 1 1939 comic or value millions.
@@lilbigfan3782 that Superman 1 comic is NG, meaning it's not graded. the 5.3 million was for a 8.5 graded copy. His copy isn't in the same ballpark as that copy
True😂 sad for some gullible people maybe believe him. Never seen a guy just try to impress so much but its not worth 33 million inside.
The Superman #1 is an NG so there is no way it’s worth the price you’re quoting. It’s likely worth under 10k. Because of it being incomplete.
Way under!
He's a good salesman that's for sure! 😅
Warren Buffet is like yea I bought coca cola back then but now its worth hundreds of billion. I am not gonna sell it
Hahahahaha 1:39 I knew $200 on the jirachi sounded fishy it sells for under $10 constantly
This guy didn't no who jack kirby was..that's just like asking who or what were the beatles
the pricing on the pokemon cards is just ludacris hahahahaha
Holy crap 😮
When he said Logan wears a illustrator card then shows a pic of him with Charizard around his neck
What is the name of music that you play when video gets end.
Don't understand why everyone hates this guy? What he said was true, a Superman #1, graded 8.0 privately traded hands in January 2022 for $5.3 million. He didn't say his was worth that. People gotta listen.
He implied it. Never corrected the interviewer.
But it's not "Action comics No. 1" the actual holy grail.
Awsome to see you learning about comics. I was always trying to help bring comics and crypto people together. Looks like there is a massive arbitrage opportunity to bring collectibles from US to Dubai. The Superman #1 he had saw a NG “no grade” it probably has a reproduction cover on it. As an example a Superman #1 recently sold a month ago in the US CGC 7.0 which is one of the best copies in the world for around 1 million dollars. All of the other prices he was quoting were crazy 10x 20x what they would bring in the US. I’m a dealer here in the US let’s start exporting and make some money.
*_"NG..."_*
5:08 wrong info, Jack Kirby didnt create spiderman, Stan Lee and Steve Ditko did, and you call him a collector, lmao
And I thought my LCSs in Southern California had whack prices 😂
He is the coolest comic dealer. I wish he had a store in the USA.
Very likable guy for sure but his valuations are ínsane. Maybe where he líves he will get it but it’s way too much.
NG means “No Grade”, which is assigned to comics that are either missing the entire cover, or one half or more of the interior pages, or both. It may also be assigned to comics that are only being verified as authentic. So considering that, the one in the video isn’t worth anywhere near $6 mil.
Oh, and BTW, what's up with that "vault"? Watch the side panel of the door where the iron bars SHOULD be to lock the door! I'll say this much, the guy's presentation game is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!
IF he ever gets a superman or action 1 in cgc 8.0 or higher. imagine the price the dealer would want for them
I cried out loud as soon as he said $200 for a Pokémon card that’s worth $20…. Saddd af
wow he just gave you a graded comic wow
