Aptera is going to challenge Tesla. With the cheapest Aptera being $28K and the LE being $40K, that's way cheaper than anything Tesla has. Only thing I can see to be an issue is everyone will be dumping their Teslas and the used market will have them hovering around $8K, thus people might be tempted to get one of those. On the other hand, with never having to recharge an Aptera, you'll save that in just a short few years.
I love the Aptera and can't wait to get mine. But you guys are going a little too far. It will be better for the brand in the long run if we keep our claims realistic. "Never having to recharge" and challenging Tesla isn't realistic.
@@netscrooge - It makes sense to buy a vehicle that never needs to be plugged in. I read many drive like 20 miles per day and thus it makes sense to buy a $40K vehicle just due to the money you save by never paying to charge. As we know it's quite expensive and people waste lots of time doing it. Aptera is for everyone. This is why Tesla has spies at CES and looking at all of the advanced tech Aptera has. This is because they are worried they will go out of business by 2027.
@billsmith5960 Saving around $30/month isn't going to influence many people who can afford a $40,000 vehicle. I doubt many people with that kind of money would call spending one dollar per day "quite expensive." Let's face it, there isn't any two-seat, three-wheeler that's going to sell in huge numbers at that price. That's okay. Aptera can still turn a profit selling to a small group of enthusiastic followers like us.

No solar panels on the sides.
Rubbish. Prove it does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, or just stop all the lies.
Welcome Back
@@solaredwinicetoev Now prove that time.
They have tested and performed that acceleration feat dozens of times.
@@mpetty9947 Evidence, please? I have only seen the single motor version go walking pace, myself - and that only for a minute.
No one has to prove anything to you as your an irrelevant FUDmonger.
