Fantastic review. Do you have a workflow recommendation for theme based sermons? Also do these workflows, in your opinion, mimic the general homiletical guidelines for sermon prep taught in seminary? I will do my own review but would like your opinion. Thank you.
Most of the workflows designed for sermon preparation are expository based. However, the Topical Sermon Preparation is pretty good for what you are looking for. And yes, these mimic homiletical guides for seminary sermon preparation quite well. It really makes the process more accessible.
This is such an awesome feature, I went into my logos right away to look it up. When I looked for public workflow templates, nothing pops up. Any idea why this might be? Thank you for doing the video!
No problem, Patty! You may not have the full feature set for the use of workflows. Maybe take a look at the logos store and see what the full feature set might cost you. www.logos.com/product/195570/logos-9-full-feature-upgrade

Being Called Pastor is a Sin. 6 And they alove the place of honor at banquets, and the seats of honor in the synagogues, 7 and personal greetings in the marketplaces, and being called Rabbi by the people. 8 But as for you, ado not be called Rabbi; for only One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers and sisters. 9 And do not call anyone on earth your father; for only One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called leaders; for only One is your Leader, that is, Christ. 11 But the greatest of you shall be your servant. 12 Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. New American Standard Bible (La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation, 2020), Mt 23:6-12.
Yet another part of Logos I now know how to use thanks to Pastor Tanner
Thanks PT 🙂 -- Your videos are very helpful!
Thanks for the encouragement, Johnny! I appreciate you.
I actually never used them before but after watching your video, I think I am going to mess around with it.
Thank you from a new Logos user.
Thank you! very helpful workflow tutorial. God Bless,
This was very helpful, thank you for sharing, God bless you
I am looking for a sermon prep workflow for bilingual pastors. I have to preach bilingual every Sunday and need something that will help me.
That sounds like a challenge! Look through the custom workflows offered by Faithlife, you might find something designed for that!
Thanks this helped a lot
this was a powerful teaching on workflows. Do you ever do 1:1 coaching sessions on logos?
I've never considered it. Maybe I can think about it for the future.
