Hey Jason, great channel! Quick question for you: do you find the measurements of the jig to be off? When I place the 3/8 buckles on and use the upper notch it’s about a half inch off. Same for the 5/8 in the lower notch.
The difference is between the cow's hitch and the girth hitch and there is a difference even if they appear the same because you would never tie a cow hitch on the side of an animal (under a saddle) because it would pinch the animal. This is why they are different and have different names. It's of course a minor difference but when learning technical skills it's important to know the difference.

Girth hitch, larks head either way it is the same knot!
