Hi Elouise, thanks for watching! I think that some of the main things that make candidates stand out is showing that they have actively taken steps to gain a realistic insight into medicine. This particularly relates to showing that they understand the possible downsides of medicine but demonstrate that the pros outweigh these cons and the steps you have taken to realise this.
