@@corsomaximahu69 I don't think this applies to assignments as well as to studying in general. Let's say you are writing your conclusion for a paper. It is a complicated thing and if you take a quick break of 5 minutes, it is easy to lose your flow and forget what you wanted to write.
When you study a summary of your notes for a test, then taking a 5 minute break doesn't cause you to lose your flow, mainly because what you are studying is already on paper. That's my take on it at least. For example, when working on an assignment like a research paper, it works better for me to just work for 4 hours straight and just take a break when eating breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc.

Jesus Christ is the propitiation for the whole world's sins. They that believeth and are baptized (with the Holy Spirit) shall be saved; but they that believeth not shall be damned. Those led by the Holy Spirit do not abide in wickedness.
*God is ONE manifesting himself as THREE;* the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! Bless him! *For these three are one.*
As I am led by the Holy Spirit, nothing I state is a lie, but the truth of God. Anyone who tells you differently is misinformed or a liar. They do not know God, nor led by him.
Anyone who *claims* to be a Christian and is against what I am doing, and where I am doing it; the Holy Spirit does not dwell within them, they lack understanding. They know not God, read his word, and their religion is in vain. Do not hear them, they will mislead you, the lost cannot guide the lost.

When you trust in God and cast your cares (worries, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts) upon him, they will be NO MORE!
Know that there is power in the name Jesus Christ! His name casts out demons and heals!
The world is wicked, evil, and of the devil.
I too, was a wicked sinner of the world before I opened my heart to God. I am living proof of God's work and fruitfulness! He is an active God who hears the prayers of his! God's children are set apart (holy) and righteous. The devil is a liar that comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy; that includes your relationship with God!
Open your heart to God, repent of your sins (he will forgive you), and let him direct your path. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands and purify your heart, lest you walk with the devil and follow him to hell.

This is so true! At medical School, I found I was getting brain fatigued too easily by putting in extended hours of inefficient, uninterrupted study. I changed my routine, concentrated profoundly for 20 minutes, attempting to remember everything that I had studied, and in fact, I invariably did. -Then took 10 minutes off and did something low-grade physical. For me a physical distraction was far more important than say, watching television or a non-physical activity. I put in fewer hours of study and my grades went up.

No, work and learning have completely different impacts on the body.
Standing all day at work will cause bodily problems, hurt your feet, increase chances of heart attack and blood clots. Simply playing a videogame and taking a break every 30 minutes or so just lets your brain learn the game faster.
And let's say we bring this break stuff back to work. The body doesn't recharge when you're doing work and labor. It's like saying your body will recover every 30 seconds after doing 3 minutes of a workout. You might feel better but you're 100% still worse, and exhausted, and depleting yourself

Well from what I know, even a short break goes a long way.
And it needs to be a break from figuring stuff out and being in full focus.
It can't be something where our brain processes information.
So this all are things like a nap, taking a walk in a nature setting, making a cup of tea etc.
You can adjust the break length to your liking, for some 5 minutes will not be enough to even visit a park/forest/lake/river/mountain/hill, whatever the spot is @ your place.
You can adjust the length of the burst from 30 minutes to a different time frame, or an end goal, or a point where your mind begins to show signs of being tired.

      READ THIS!!!
Luke 15:7 I tell you, in just the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.
      🎉🎉🎉
Is it just wonderful to know that when you are saved, there is a party in Heaven. Just for you. That is how much you matter to God.
Believe in the Righteous Almighty God, and be saved.
Do you want to have a relationship with someone who loves you beyond any other love. Someone who sacrificed himself for you and everyone on this Earth the one who created the heavens and the Earth be creator of everything do you want to be saved. Do you want eternal life with peace and joy forever your answer is Jesus if you do not know who Jesus is read the following Jesus is the Son of God that came to this Earth to save the people of their sins. when God-created Earth sin same came into Earth and tempted Eve(The first woman) to eat the fruit that God had forbidden her and Adam to not eat. If they do, they will die. Not immediately, but death is certain. Eve ate the fruit and gave Adam some to eat as well. And he did. That showed that humans are sinners and not perfect. That is why Jesus came to Earth to save humans of their sins. This leads to a relationship with God(the main reason) and eternal life. He did that by dying on the cross. 3 days later, he resurrected. The story of Jesus is beautiful. If you do not already have a Bible, purchase one. If you do not have the money, pray to God about you wanting a Bible and if he could please provide one for you. This does not mean a Bible will come from the sky and land on your hands. Pray to God every day. But to not be blabbering that just say a bunch of words to try to impress and show off to other people or to impress. This does not mean long prayers are bad always pray out of the heart. Give thanks also when you pray. The Father (also God) sent his only son Jesus Christ to die for you. Rejoice brothers and sisters because your price was payed by Jesus Christ death.
      Acts 16:31
They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus , and you will be saved- you and your household."
      🎉
Jesus loves You, smile, isn't that just amazing❤😊🎉
Keep trying, no matter what problem that you face. The power of God can strengthen you, and help you, just turn to God
all glory to the almighty, and only God😊❤😊❤

From then on i started to perceive things in a different perspective, further enlightening me and increasing my knowledge, until i finally had enough knowledge to know how to traverse time, it was only the materials that i needed. I once again searched for the Baby, to thank him for the knowledge he has taught me, however i couldn't find him. It was only a matter of time before i got the materials needed on hand. I have succesfully created a time machine that will bring me back to the prehistoric era, so i can teach this knowledge to our ancestors, to further develop the human society.

Never heard of this crap until I moved to a Western Country. You're competing with people who can study efficiently for hours with no break. The break just makes you lose focus and concentration!

And this is the exact reason why people, have to make sure to rest as well, balance studies with rest, otherwise it would lead to burn out

After studying : 1 min for standing up from chair
    1min for breathing
    1min for closing books
    1min for turning around
1min for taking a single step
    Thats my 5 min🤷🏼‍♂️

Except there’s not a whole lot of “fun” things you can do in 5 minutes. As a result, that 5 minutes just turns into you thinking about having to get back to studying in 5 minutes and dreading it. It was always like cardio to me: hard to get going but easy to keep going once I’ve started. Stopping every half hour would mean I’m just constantly doing the hardest part.

Someone has to say it lol. Basically you know deep down it's easier to study 6hrs straight than have adequate breaks for 5.5hrs... people end up burning out for the sake of real efficiency.

For me it depends. I usually set a pomodoro timer and if I still feel like studying after it ended then I do but if Im unmotivated then I take a break

Dude, this boomer's idea of a break is sipping a coffee for 5 minutes and then getting back at it.
